  • We finally made the leap to go completely diaper free with our 17-month-old daughter! We had previously been practicing elimination communication and using cloth diapers as a back up, but she was doing well so we thought...why not give it a go?! Mamo is doing great, and we are very proud of her! This video is all about a day in the life of our daughter and how we potty her at home and on the go!
**We wanted to film these videos to help those who might be interested in and wanting to learn more about elimination communication and cloth diapers. In no way are we trying to tell you what to do with your child--you know what works for your family. But, we only do what we know, and I am so glad that I learned about cloth diapering/EC before we had Mamo. All we want to do is to pay it forward and share what we've learned! Mahalo for stopping by!**

Love that you use your native language. As a teacher I see so many parents repressing their native language around their children and it’s so beneficial when they learn

@@mssophia978 Our daughter is 3 months old and being a first time parent, healing, and trying to balance so many things in the beginning, I found it easier to consistently start both around month 2. She does great on the potty! I am still learning if I like cloth diapers or not. I do cloth by day and disposables at night while we keep refining everything.

Congrats on the final leap! We made the leap for diaper free daytime at 15 but with lots of accidents and then finally night and day 18 months.

I would like to understand the sign language signaling that you do with her better. Did you sign to her early on and also to see you show more clearly what the sign looks like & when she started to tell you with signing by herself. These videos are helpful. Thanks.

Love your videos! How do you clean the mini potty when you are out and about? I love your set up and will definitely be ordering through your link. I hope you get commission off of it because y'all have been so helpful! Also, your voice is so sweet! Love hearing your Hawaiian language. My cousins are from Kaneohe. Miss the island so much. 🖤✨

I have a 16 month old baby who is still in nappies. But they just don't agree with her and I really want to try and potty train her. Never ever introduced her before.
Just wondering if you any tips or what potty to start with? From the UK 🇬🇧
