DUPE TEST! Too Faced Born This Way vs Covergirl Healthy Vitalist Elixir Foundation

Both of these foundations wear beautifully throughout the day. I only needed to touch up once, approximately 6 hours after the foundations were applied, and to touch up I just used a small about of powder in my T zone. The covergirl foundation was only slightly more dewy than the too faced foundation at that point, but both still looked beautiful on the skin. I asked my aunt which side she thought was high end and which side was drugstore, and she actually thought the covergirl side looked better! I personally couldn't tell a difference, but she said that my pores were slightly more emphasized on the Too Faced side. So there you have it folks! If you want to try the born this way foundation but don't want to spend the money, opt for the Covergirl because it looks and wears just like the born this way foundation!

Loved the video! Maybe you could do another dupe video with just eye makeup. That way it would only be eyeshadow, mascara, and eyeliner so it wouldn't be as long as a full face dupe video.

I was wrong! I thought the high-end foundation was on the left side of your face because it looked smoother lol. I would be curious to see the results of a wear test for this look to see if one lasted longer than the other. That seems to be where the differences in high-end vs drug store lie. Great video! :)
Veronica Perez thank your for the reminder!! I just updated the description box with a wear test comparison, but to save you the hassle, the wear time on both of these was amazing! I touched up both foundations with powder approximately 6 hours after applying them. The covergirl one looked slightly more dewy but there was no separation on either sides. Normally my higher end foundations last longer on my skin but the covergirl is giving high end products a run for their money! Thanks for watching :)
I tried the healthy elixir foundation and it just did not work for me at all. I have like normal skin leaning more towards dry skin and it just really clung and emphasized my dryness. I can mix it with another foundation that's more hydrating and it looks ok but I can't use it on its own. I saw RawBeautyKristi raving about it and I'm so sad I didn't like it 😞

I love the cover girl but shade range sucks cuz I'm pale and it makes me orange .. even with white mixer .. but I love it so much , I wish they'd make better shades .. love the video girly ❤️

They look completely different from one another . You're right side and from my view left looks way better I think it looks great either way but there's definitely a difference

I actually think that the covergirl one feels lighter. After trying that one, I don't think I would spend the money on the too faced one once I run out.

Thanks for watching!! In Canada the shades are in the 600s, and in the United States they are in the 700s. I have no idea why they do it (probably just to make it confusing for us haha!). So the shade that matches Vanilla will be 725 :)

Hey! I would definitely go in store to check the shades just because they run quite dark, but based off of 203 in loreal, I would say likely creamy natural or buff beige.
