Now I use the Esta Lauder when I go out and I use two-face every day. And they’re both owned by Este Lauder. 💖💖 thank you for the awesome tutorial.❤

The born this way matte is my absolute favorite ❤️ I literally have 6 bottles of it , it’s way better than Estée Lauder .. I just do 2 pumps of the matte born this way it covers like a dream , I don’t have texture or acne or anything but I always recommend it to everyone because of how flawless it is …. Nars Radiant Longwear is what I used in my most recent tutorial, it’s probably my favorite ever. My favorite used to be Sheer Glow from Nars, but once they came out with Radiant Longwear it was my favorite. I also tried Double Wear recently again because of you and I LOVE it. I used it for years but it’s back in my collection 💞✨
@@kellywatts6227 I have never tried the light reflecting BUT I do think Nars is superior when it comes to complexion products. I have normal to dry skin and they’ve always set the best on my skin. Light reflecting has skincare which is a nice benefit but it’s more of a natural finish. It’s great if you suffer with redness or dark spots, it evens out your skin in a very “natural” looking way. Natural radiance gives GOOD coverage but it sits SO well on the skin. It doesn’t look “natural” to me even though it’s in the name. It’s just enough coverage for me. Bought Les Beiges from Chanel a couple months ago. Im also a foundation nut, and have tried so many. My absolute favorite is IT cosmetics CC cream (original). Chanel is now in 2nd place. I had bought L'Oreal's Infallible and gave it to my daughter, i guess without trying it, because i had no idea it would have such a beautiful finish on MY very dry 66 year old skin. I was shocked when i put it on the other day. I ayk a lot of my foubdations. They need to be full coverage, feel like nothing, look like skin, last all day.
I recently tried the too faced born this way foundation, and it didn't last very long. I wore it to work, and it got all patchy. I was sad because when I left, it looked great. Love this video. Thank you for sharing!!
I love ranking foundations videos because I love, love, love trying new foundations. It's the #1 thing I buy most. Blush is #2, then concealer. Throughout the entire video I kept staring at your beautiful full face of makeup. I kept thinking "what foundation are you wearing, Cheryl? It's gorgeous). You're also rocking browns in your clothing. It's your color!! Everything just melds together so beautifully. The TF stick foundation is just ok on my very mature skin. The shade match is good but not perfect. When I don't get a perfect shade match everything else goes down the tubes. For instance I don't care for the new MAC foundation because I could not find a match and I even went into the store.🤷🏼 Haus Labs doesn't look good on me at the 6 hour point. It wears off by then. Of all the foundations you mentioned, the Hourglass is tied as #1 for me along with Nars Light Reflecting foundation! I want the Haus Labs foundation to work. Maybe it's the skincare I'm using to prep my face 🤷🏼
I love your channel, Cheryl, and TOTALLY agree with your #1!!! I have been using the Too Faced Born this way for years. I love a full coverage foundation, and this one makes my 53 yr old skin look perfect but still like my skin. I never hear about it in reviews, but it is amazing! Thanks for your series. Love it
Your description on Loreal Infallible is so on point! I tried so many foundations and im still in search for my new fave but I always end up wasting it. The only foundation that I re-purchased multiple times (and I couldnt even count) are Loreal Infallible and Catrice HD.
Hi. Thanks for such great videos. I especially enjoyed your bronzers video. Just wanted to add to your 7th place foundation, that while Estee Lauder DW liquid foundation does not come with a pump, EL has always sold the navy blue pump for it separately. All you need is a half pump to a full pump for a beautiful, flawless finish.
Went to a Sephora in Ottawa today and the sales girls didn’t even know about the sale let alone the fact that we were left out!! I totally feel your pain! Had full basket and didn’t buy anything :(
Haus Lab is currently my #1. NARS is on its way. I will try the L’Oréal not if it has sun block- though. I don’t like chemical sun block in my make up. Thank you
Hi Cheryl. If you see me here! Thanks for comparisons. I'm not so sure if the lighting your using enhances, but what are you using on your Hair for such Luster? (if is, without lighting) It's beautiful and you have a great hairstylist too, without doubt! ❤️ 😊
LOVED THIS AND I AGREE WITH ALL YOUR CLAIMS ESPECIALLY YOUR NUMBER 1 ❤. The two faced one look really good on the skin and I went through that bottle and the NARS.
I was super surprised to not see Lancôme's Teint Idôle Ultra Wear. It is by far my favourite foundation, kind of similar to Estée Lauder's Double Wear for me but it does not break me out and I do find the finish more natural than the one from Estée Lauder.
Loved this video thank you Cheryl. Like you I am loving the Mac Radiant Serum foundation, makes my mature skin look healthy & gives a nice glow. I'm still figuring out my correct shade as yes it definitely runs darker than Studio Fix. It has pushed my EL Double Wear down the list, although when it's high summer there is nothing like it. Haus Labs wasn't flattering on me, perhaps it's the colour. I live in Australia and it isn't available here yet so I'll wait until it arrives at Sephora (hopefully next year). I ordered 2 colours (expensive with exchange rate & postage) from America and neither are good matches. Nars is great but I can't find a good color match. The L'Oreal Fresh Wear is beautiful and outranks a lot of high end foundations. Fantastic for the price. I highly recommend it for mature ladies like myself. Please keep the videos coming as you are a pleasure to watch.
I got the tom ford traceless recently for 50% off on sephora canada too. Apparently it's getting reformulated, not discontinued according to some. I am surprised by the packaging, I thought it would be a nice heavy hefty package, but it's not, I feel like the product moves around it you shake it. Not what I would expect from a 122$ product. I will keep it because it does look pretty and the shade match is good, I wear 0.3 and am about nc15.
I don’t blame you, I’d be bitter about the sale too! I mean wth??? The Tom ford foundation stick changed my life but word oh the street is it’s getting reformulated 😭 I’ve tried all of the foundations that you mentioned and my all time favs are the TF, Nars and hourglass. Love these ranking videos 🥰
Your 1 and 2 are my current favorite foundations, wasn’t expecting that! I will keep repurchasing them but looking for a new foundation to try. And yes the Too face foundation is no longer available at Macys in store, please don’t discontinue like they did with my Previous favorite Mac Matchmaster 😢
I hate the nars long wear, it was so heavy and cakey on my skin. It brought out my texture so bad. I’ve been dying to try the Mario one. Too faced is always my go to and one of my most repurchased foundation
Which one is good for acne prone 40 year skin? Yes I went from young w pimples to old with pimples. Sucks that I've never found anything to make my face look good whether it's skin care or foundation. I haven't even worn makeup in 2 years because it's so frustrating trying to even find good coverage or color match. Im pale as hell and everything looks orange on me. I watch these tutorials in awe because I've never been able to achieve a beautiful face , not even in my 20s. Sadly now it's too late!
Your word is gold on this topic! My favorite foundations are Chanel No.1 and Lancome Tient Idole Ultra Wear. I am definitely going to pick up one of your top ten. Choices, choices... 🌟
People can never find the one with hyaluronic acid so I didn’t want to include it. You know I love it. It’s tied in my L’Oreal spot lol those two are interchangeable for me
Crushes my soul that TF stick is being discontinued. It’s great. I agree with all of your options except the Mac. I haven’t tried I can’t ever find a good match in MAC
Sephora sale does not happen for us in Germany too. Yes, here and there, there are discounts on the products they don’t sell. The loyalty program is a joke.
Have your ever tried Senegence brand? You can buy directly, used to be MLM… I have stopped more than one older woman in public and asked them what foundation they were wearing and often it was this brand. Beautiful on mature skin.
I’m so sad they discontinued the Too Faced Born This Way Matte Foundation. I’m desperately looking for a good cruelty free replacement now. I see they’ve released a soft matte version but it’s not available in Canada yet and I’m trying not to get my hopes up because it’s a new formulation.
THANK YOU for mentioning Chanel! I have very pink skin and NOTHING is ever pink enough. Ridiculous. Everything is either too yellow or orange - I’ll try Chanel!
However I do think I’d like the Mario bc one of my favorites out of all my foundations even my super high end is revlon illumance ! I reach for that w a couple dbronzi drops mixed in every day!
Yes. The Haus foundation does show my pores on my nose and it gives my lower cheeks look like an orange. Definitely for under 50. I’m 56. I do like the Nars.
Hi, my favorite foundation is not on your top 10. Have you tried the Surratt "Surreal Skin Foundation"? It is a foundation with a primer included, it is a solid medium coverage and natural finish. My problem with foundations is that they can gather on my pores since I have mature skin, my pores are getting more visible due to sagging skin. This foundation blurs my pores and it is perfection!!!!
The EL Double Wear sells a pump on their website. I’d love to try your #1, but I can’t seem to find my selected shade anywhere. And the shade selection on the actual Too Faced website is about 30% of what Sephora offers.
Agree with the Mac tones. I work at Mecca here in Australia and they run so warm! EL sheer really let me down i LOVE DW but the sheer didnt match up (neither did the shade names)
Yesssss too faced BTW IS #1 I was wondering why no one ever talks about it the only other person that talks about it is Stephanie, Babs beauty! I on almost every one of those foundations you mentioned, except for me before and you nailed it. We must have the same expectations for foundation. Look.
So the Too Faced matte foundation is also my #1 but I feel like it ruins all of my brushes and sponges. How do you clean your tools? It’s so hard to clean.
The reason all the Tom ford sticks were on sale half off is because they were just about to expire. So many returns on that one cuz it was breaking everyone out.
TF really let me down. My all time top 2 foundations so far are Laura Mercier weightless foundation and kosas.. Both are so beautiful! And both heavily skincare focused ❤
double Wear was my favorite for many years and I still wish I could wear it but it emphasizes my texture and my lines more than it used to now that I'm almost 50 I'm pushing 48. I hope that the other one that is full coverage that you're going to show will work for me because I'm using a combination right now of Maybelline skin tint haus labs
Half of these look terrible on my 50 yo dry/normal skin. Chanel Dior Mario are best. I just ordered Chanel Aqua I can’t wait to try it. I also ordered La prairie hoping for the holy grail of skin! Bloomingdale accepts used makeup returns so if it’s not great I’ll return it.
Thank you, you helped me out. Suggestion people like to see the product itself. You are talking with the product in your hand but don't show it still. You move your hands over and over with the product in your hand. I would suggest keeping it still so we can see it.😊
I love the Haus Labs too. And I want to try the Tom Ford but my store doesn’t carry it and I want to find my shade in person before committing. I would be curious what your thoughts are on Armani Luminous Silk 🤔
These videos are my favorite. It's unfair how much attention some of these paid very popular tik tokers get for their reviews instead of real ppl like Cheryl who legitimately search for truly good products and they're unbiased. Nars is my favorite high-end which I tried because I was reading your blog back in the day. I also recall Miss Natty's beauty diary blog where she was using Nars so much that I was like I gotta try them, because of you two ladies. Loreal infallible freshwear my top favorite drugstore too (it replaced my Bourjois and Rimmel I used to use). I mix the Freshwear with loreal infallible pro-glow for some glow as the freshwear one can a bit drying on me and I prime very well. They don't make shade 411 in the freshwear anymore "beige ivory", so I mix 405 with the pro-glow in 202 cuz 202 is too dark for me, but it's better than the Infallible Pro-glow imo. I hate the feeling of makeup on my skin too, I wanna feel clean and fresh. I also wanna try the True Match super blendable and their Hyaluronic tint but that one is too dark for me in the lightest shade or too pink. I love the born this way Too faced concealer. Too faced is underrated, it's annoying when they discontinue good products. I'm sad that they discontinued their peach perfect loose powder, maybe cuz it was getting bad reviews. I still use it for all over the face as a finishing powder and have 1 back up left lol.
Estee Lauder foundation does have a pump sold separately together with the primer for $15. It’s hands down one of the best full coverage foundation. Charlotte Tilbury is my top favorite foundation for non problematic skin. One thing that I do not understand is why would you need to wear foundation daily? No skin can stay healthy from a daily wear of so many chemicals. It’s counter productive if you are really hoping to achieve a great looking skin. Instead, you need to have an excellent skin care routine in place. Also, you mentioned self tanning for your face which is a big no - no for a healthy skin! My skin use to look bad when I used foundation frequently. Now, since I barely use any make up on my skin it looks healthy, radiant and wrinkle-free at 40.
I am super intrigued about this white mixer from Haus Labs - I am always getting two shades of all my favourite foundations, it s a hassle (and expensive) Do you have a video when using this? Doesnt it give the foundations a greyish tone? Would love to hear more!
I know I’ve used it in a video but can’t recall which. It doesn’t for me! If I make the foundation too light it will definitely be grey. Just a little is needed for lightening for me!
The only thing I’d say about the L’Oréal foundation you don’t need a lot for the coverage it gives at least for my skin I only need one pump of this foundation
Trying hous of labs but noticed it rubs off so easily. I was a Lancôme user for years but noticed a few months ago that either I changed or the formula changed. Is there anything I can set it with that would fix this issue of haus of labs?

I wish! You’re so lucky. Something about it and some MAC foundations clog my pores 😢
Thanks for the review, Actually looking for the best foundation
Hi Cheryl! I'm personally loving the new ciele spf 50, haus labs, and the believe beauty from DG. bareminerals complexion rescue is still my hg tho😊
So the Too Faced matte foundation is also my #1 but I feel like it ruins all of my brushes and sponges. How do you clean your tools? It’s so hard to clean.
Whatever color you are I am too bc we’re color twins , so all I havta do is see what your color is it’s that simple for me .
The reason all the Tom ford sticks were on sale half off is because they were just about to expire. So many returns on that one cuz it was breaking everyone out.
Really?! Yikes! I haven’t heard that!
Can you tell me the Too Faced foundation shade youre wearing in this video? It would be a perfect match for my skin color. Thanks!😊
I had the same problem with Estee Lauder. No matter how well I cleanse, my skin always breaks me out.
Been using double wear Estee Lauder for the past 40 years… and will continue. Charo
Also it last a full year before I need to buy another…also bought from them a pump which I attached it to the opening so right amount
My favorite is the tom ford... SOOOO EFFORTLESS ❤️❤️😍❤️❤️😍❤️😍❤️😍❤️😍
Thank you, you helped me out. Suggestion people like to see the product itself. You are talking with the product in your hand but don't show it still. You move your hands over and over with the product in your hand. I would suggest keeping it still so we can see it.😊
Foundations make me so excited lol I normally am quite good at showing the product, I promise 😇 hehehe Thanks for the feedback!
I love the Haus Labs too. And I want to try the Tom Ford but my store doesn’t carry it and I want to find my shade in person before committing. I would be curious what your thoughts are on Armani Luminous Silk 🤔
I second that about armani luminous silk!
I next try the born this way matte foundation!
Do you have makeup transfer when you touch your face? I have foundation on all my paperwork at work haha 😅 looking for one that won’t transfer.
can you do an updated top 10 foundations?
I agree with almost all of your recommendations. Thanks for a great video.
I’m 51. I’m using Haus Labs right now
I was wondering if you were going to have a Tom Ford foundation, I have shade & illuminate & flawless glow love both.
The only three foundation I wear are Mac, baremineral, and Estée Lauder. You buy the pump separately for Estée Lauder.
Yes. It sucks though after all these years they still don’t include it for the price.
@@MakeupByCheryl, agreed. It’s a bummer!
You look beautiful. But i miss your dark hair. You looked stunning with the dark hair
Could I ask the color that you wear for the Too Faced ‘Born This Way’ matte foundation, please? So pretty!
Best most helpful video thank you so much❤
Where is your hoodie from?! ❤
You’re so pretty 😍 I love your hair ❤❤❤
Thank you so much!! 💕
You’re welcome 😉 ❤ you also have beautiful eyes 💕💕
Ive used the Nars Radiant Longwear but the cushion version, I found it too dewy. I much prefer the light reflecting one which is what I am using now
Estee lauder does sell a pump for the double wear.
Yes, but it doesn’t come with the foundation like most do so it’s important to note that 💕
Gorgeous hair 💗
The only thing I’d say about the L’Oréal foundation you don’t need a lot for the coverage it gives at least for my skin I only need one pump of this foundation
Yes! A little goes a long way and it spreads so nicely
You are so pretty!!
What’s best for combination skin and texture but looks airbrush
how about Dior backstage and Charlotte Tilburys flawless filter airbrush foundation?
Loved Backstage but not in my Top 10. CT is too thick for my preferences
I have oily skin, I wear estee lauder double wear. I want to buy another one for when I use Tret etc. and stay all day . Please help
I love ill Makiage make up
Trying hous of labs but noticed it rubs off so easily. I was a Lancôme user for years but noticed a few months ago that either I changed or the formula changed. Is there anything I can set it with that would fix this issue of haus of labs?
Which brand and shade of lipstick are you wearing??
