I get that they are hurt but they really should have gotten over it with more confidence in their build since people will buy it, if they really want it. Your reviews are always on point. I respect their decision, but I think they totally missed out and messed up.. Your videos really market these cars more so than others. Your channel is the one I go to evaluate which vehicles are the next big thing. It'd be cool if they squash things between you two and let you review their cars again
I personally like the look of this than the c8. I think the c7 looks better than the c8. For the price I'd rather have the mid engine and factory warranty.

That is just too expensive I'd rather buy a C8 Corvette. I suggest they reduce the price or they're going to have very few buyers.
considering it's pretty much a couple guys/1 shop doing the installs and they already have more than 6 vettes + other projects to work on, I doubt they need much volume considering they said a couple months for the rough install time. Then when they actually do start selling the kits for self-install it'll prolly be closer to 15k
It's pure stupidity, they could simply make the components for half the price and sell 60 of them and build maybe 10. The kits easily bring more return on investment as it will take months to make 12.5k between two guys for the assembly part. Worst business model ever.

I think the build will cost a lot more than $60k. To get it done right, it'll easily be $80-100k. At that price, I'd much rather get a C8 with a few goodies. It definitely won't look as unique, especially as Chevy delivers more and more Vettes (I see them almost daily now), but it's a much better platform for modification IMO. I guess the question is practicality or uniqueness... the constant struggle ;)

Props to you buddy. I think your channel and unbiased reviews are great. Eventhough you did a great job of bringing the good and the bad, theres no reason for these two companies to shut you out like that. I bought Matts unfinished #2 vaydor from the original owner and called Matt before for a new front lip/defuser that was broken, he never bother to sell me a new one or take my call or text again after our first conversation. That right there is bad business relationship. The installation of the valera is not that hard compared to the vaydor so that's a bit greedy with the 25k price since it does not require chopping the original body or welding and no interior upgrades. I don't think the valera will be successful like the vaydor.

We appreciate your honest non bias review. I agree that The Vaydor and Valarra should both be kitcars. Having built a replica Diablo Roadster, I do understand the difference between a Kitcar and a Turnkey. If somebody wants to spend 80k+ on a turnkey, they can buy a real supercar. A used one, but a real one. As for Vaydor and Valarra, I see Bankruptcy in their future.

@@brois841 lamborghini gallardo, the older ferraris, mclaren 570s if your lucky, the 2007 model of audi r8 (actually less than 80k), there is actually alot of supercars you can get for 80k or under 80k
Exactly right. Vaydor finished - turn key, was prices 100k plus in the end. Well for 100k or put another 20k and you get a real suoercar like Ferrari 458. Or this brand now for 60-80k C8 looks great, specs are great, interior looks awesome with all the features, warranty etc you cant compete with the established brands even used ones at that price point. 30k plus donor car max....then you have business.

The Valarra is WAY nicer than a c8 and certainly far more unique

I'm not going to be that random dude who compares a custom kit like this to a standard manufactured production car. I don't feel like it's a fair argument as people looking at a kit like this obviously are unlikely to want something easily available to everyone else.
I will say for the price of this, I'd hold off and wait until the Factory Five F9 car gets the green light for production. For roughly the same cost you can build that car from the ground up with a kit consisting of a lot of quality parts including a lot of carbon fiber.
Nice semi-review on the Valarra; looks way more exciting than a stock c6. And you're right, since you pointed out those arches intersecting at the door..I can't unsee that weirdness either. If I had a c6 I might consider doing it if it was 20k instead of 30k. Good luck finding a c8 for 60k, no dealer anywhere will let one go at that price("Market Adjustment" tacked on), all are pretty much spoken for too. And they're still debugging them.

Yeah, I'm looking at the kit cars, and the DDR GT8 seems to be the best deal. You have both in house and diy options, you get great performance, and it looks like a mini zonda. All for about 60k. The company is transparent, has a lot of experience, and trust worthy. I'm seriously considering getting a car from them.
Bravo Quickshift Reviews for you to speak your own Mind. You haven't said anything different that People weren't already Thinking. I was Totally Gutted when they Announced that they would No Longer sell the Vaydor Bodykits for your own Assembly. I had already Purchased a G37(I Know it was supposed to be a G35, but I would have made it Fit anyway... I'm Down like that!) Anyhoo, I was still looking forward to the Valarra only to now hear that they are now doing the exact same. It is Truly a Let Down for People who really want to make a Car of their own. I am sure that Greed is one of the main factors of their decision. So now I'm stuck with a G37 that is a Great car to say the Least, but in my mind Slightly Under Powered. That, I hope to soon remedy with a LS Engine Injection. For People (like me) that are still looking for their own Car to Build for themselves there is the Factory Five GTM and the New FR9, and the SLC. Both of these Companies have Several Models of Great Cars that Car Builders can Build and make their own.
It's definitely a shame! I hope you still find a way to build your G37 into something cool ✌

My first question is does it just look good or is it actual quality? Are there any rattles or Creeks or does it feel cheap? Also from a practical standpoint how well does it drive with those enormous Wheels? I love the looks but I'm more of a driving enthusiasts as a currency c7 z06 owner. I can't help but wonder if it's just pretty to look at or if you'd yearn to take it for a joyride for the way it drives
Great job on staying honest and true to the viewers. You can't freaking state 25k or 30k or whatever and then exclude basically everything. In the end if you want it the way they show it off it costs 80k plus even 100k or up, well this is then high end mercedes, bmw, corvette c8 and entry level lambo, ferrari etc. They can't compete with them at all just look the interior and finish.
They should price it at 30k max with donor car from the buyer and that is it otherwise you are messing with the big boys with billion dollar budgets, factories, streamline processing, factory finish etc. and you can't compete with that. Plus no warranty, etc. Remember that is the appeal in the first place, big looks with small money, but of course it does not match the performance or factory finish and the interior. Then how can you charge 80-100k plus for that lol, then I will rather get a used ferrari 458 or Lambo Huracan for 120-150k and it is done or even better 60k c8

I really enjoy your videos, but take some of your UA-cam riches and get yourself some clothes that fit. I hate to be that guy, but for fsake, buy a hoodie that fits. When people where clothes that are massively too big for them, it makes them look silly and bafoonish, and I don't think that is what you are going for in your fashion style.
for what it sounds like i'm gonna have to pay for this new version vaydor.. Mike at Valarra needs to source the freak C6 for the customer his damn self. since there is no DIY they should build out base models with no paint due to the customization aspect. Z06 runs you from 24,000 to 60,000 and his kit "STARTS" at 25K.... HMMMM.... does that 25K include labor and taxes?... i know it doesn't i was just being facetious.
The fact they banned you for your opinion is absolutely stupid and hurts their reputation, I would invite you out and show you our manufacturing process and RND work that make our kits worth it, kinda sad they didn’t reach out to you to change your mind about their products

What i like with this kit is they think out of the box .

Yeah, I'm not seeing what they really bring to the table. Yes, it's a jumble of lines at odd angle. The C8 is much better looking and very likely a much better performing car. If you really have to have a front engine kit car for some reason, the Factory Five F9R looks much better, really good actually. And an LS V12 would be pretty sick. But I'm all about midengine layout. Front engine is just to ordinary and pedestrian. So I'm sticking with my Factory Five GTM. As for a production sports car, the only car I would even consider at this point is the C8 Z06. Not only the best looking production sports car currently on the market and best bang for the buck, the Z06 brings the other "must have" item for me - a flat plane crank. Cross plane cranks are so ordinary and pedestrian.

R3?? Beginners start on an r6. Corvette is a poor man's super car. Or a man in a midlife crisis. Ppl that drive them settle for one bc they can't afford an Italian exotic.
You can find a Maserati Gran Turismo used for $50k or less, about the same price of a Corvette, sometimes even less, it's slower as well

You're also not considering that by the time you put the money into that car that you would a C8, you're going to have a WAY more unique car with WAY more power. The base model C8 is 60 grand. By the time you do any of the good options to it you're looking at around 80 grand. You can get a base model C6 for around 25 grand and pay 25 for the Valarra. Then another 10 grand or so in rims, tires and paint. So for about 60 grand you have an awesome car. Then you can do performance mods to the motor as you get the money to do so. Its called a KIT car for a reason. Its a project. And if you invest around 100k into the Valarra you will have one awesome, unique and powerful vehicle. You can mod out a C8 at 100k and get a little bit of aesthetics that don't do anything. They are already guessing the Z06 C8 is going to be around 120k. Another thing you didn't mention is that the kit comes with interior as well.

What about a C7 Vallara kit. My 2014 Z51 is great with 9,000 miles. To trade for anything Z06 or C8 will hurt. Thinking that look on my C7 would take to 90 years old. I am only 70 now. Dennis

Since I already have a 700 plus E-Force supercharged 2006 C6 Z06 clone with a custom heat exchanger hood, this could be the next step.
Kit cars are for people who want full-sized Hot Wheels. Plus I am starting to think it is the only way US makers, who are not Ford, GM, and FCA/Chrysler, can get supercars onto the market.

So basically if you have a c6 donor, you could potentially have a new engine dropped in, TT’d and wide bodied for let’s say 100k out the door. That’s a very specific buyer, but an ultra unique ride. I agree the 25k is very misleading but no denying the potential end product. That parked next to ANY hyper car, I’d take the Vette

C8 over the vallara anyday. Also I heard that carolina vayder is selling the vaydor kit for a DIY, but I don’t have any experience to put together the kit. Are there people out there who can build the car for me if I provide them the bodykit and the donor car?

Price has to go up at the same time services after sale by the company. If every average Joe gets this kit then itd be obvious it's a wanna be, I like exclusivity and I'd pay the price, cheers

It's now May of 2021 and after seeing a thousand C8s I would much rather have this in my opinion I like the C7 better than the c8.

Highly doubt a complete car with options will be around $60k. Even if, no way will it perform as well as a C8, or even a C7. You can't put 4-5in spacers on each wheel and get it dialed in without some serious suspension upgrades and track time.

The price is a total rip off. This guys head blew up after suicide squad. The Vaydor is built on a fwd ancient car, simply looks good. You can get a DDR Grullon GT8 or K1 Attack for half the price with a space frame. This is body panels and lights. Matt will go down with the other 95% of fools that overpriced their kits. The vex is a far better option.
Bodywork means the fitment is crap! You want to laugh? They want 149k!!!!!! For the Vaydor with no kit available lol. He is 5 seconds from filing Ch.13. Just sad.......
