The c8 destroyed the kit car market imo, most kit cars use the c5/c6 platform and are going to cost you more than 60k... just get the c8 which looks amazing, way better than any kit car and worthy of super car status

The interior remodel is worth it to me. I’m cool with a normal c6 exterior and opening the doors to see that interior. They should have gone after a cheaper corvette in my opinion. Older vettes will still take a lot of power and would benefit more from the kit.
Almost did one until I factored in insurance. Comically high for kits with limited parts where you basically have tk replace the whole body. Brand new C8 becomes cheaper option.
I would agree that $30k would be overpriced for JUST the kit, but with install, it's not that bad. It's FAR more than just a "body kit". I've spent $5k on a bodykit that only includes side skirts, fenders, and front/rear bumper and the installation was also about $5k. Absolutely the labor on this is worth at least $10k. And as far as performance mods go, if your donor car is a Z06, that's fairly beefy and even though it's only 505hp, you can crank that up to 600 or so with minor bolt ons, which you would do anyway if you were doing this kit
the thing i would do if i got the velara i would add better tires put a engine from a c7 or c6 corvette zr1 inside of it to replace the stock engine to make it faster

I would rather have a c6 corvette Valarra but the problem is, are there wheel spacers? or are the wheels extended, and I would definitely put a new engine in it most likely an ls7, a twin turbo set, and all that even if I do touch six figures, it just transforms the car, or if I wanted to so bad, I can buy a salvage Ferrari or something that has an exotic noise and put it in the Valarra, making it a whole different car that is just on a c6 corvette chassis.
I'd pick a wrecked c6 with the frame and engine still attached which could be $2000 to $8000 then buy the kit which will cover the exterior and interior costs
C8 though, wait for the the issues of new configuration to be ironed out.... beware though, transmission fluid not completely, full from GM on C8. needs 2 quarts, which cost $50 each, need this if you plan to race it. I noticed prices of C6 go up after this video another $10K

Yeah I would buy a 911, Cayman, Jaguar F-Type R, or SVR than paying import safety costs, only buy Naturally Aspirated ( N/A) or Supercharged, Mustang GT 5.0 Performance Pack 2, then add supercharger go from 460 Bhp to 725+ Bhp

The Zedro Notorious is probably more like the Vayder. It uses an infinity G37 chassis and running gear. Plus its more practical then both the cars mentioned here. It has back seats. Not as much power as the Valara though.
Ive been watching a Vaydor build on here, and wouldnt want them to build me one. I dont see them doing all the detail work needed to make sure it holds up.
I'm not crazy about building one from scratch but I would pay top dollar for one already built I just don't know where to find someone or any car companies with one.

They should have made a G37 kit, then tooling would have still been cheaper and the over all build. I do like the look of the new one but it's a vette. Completely different. If it had to be a vette they should've went with a C5 to make it more affordable. Shoulda been a G37 and partner with Z1 Motorsports. Then donors would only be like $8k-$12k. This vette kit is just a glorified Body Kit. Not even the same thing as the previous kit.
Honestly i've looked on AutoTrader, Seen a 2001 Lamborghini Gallardo going for 86,000$ But i'd gladly take a Vaydor kit car over it. Probably won't be able to buy one for another 20 years. I've got a pretty awesome retirement plan going thanks to a monthly investment plan "compound interest" all out growth portfolio and plan on buying me a nice car at 45 along with a 1965 Nova or a Chevelle 1965-70 preferably.

Totaled corvette with alot of cosmetic damage and almost no chassis damage would be the perfect car for this kit
