- There are some tweaks to the rules as i must try and survive for 24 hours of Gta 5 while being hunted down, as Microlights take to the sky and i have to pick my getaway cars carefully.

Yeah, I wondered that too. The Buccaneer should haven been obvious from the second he pushed the brakes right next to Alex, there wasn't even a car on the right lane forcing the Buccaneer to stop.
Should’ve been at least a thought when that exact car was searching the area he was in just a few minutes before. He didn’t even notice him flick his headlights on and off when he was sat behind him. Genuinely infuriating lmao
I don't think there has been a more frustrating Alex blindness moment in the history of FailRace

Orange buccaneer at the light on the left - Odd feeling that's a hunter
Buccaneer is suddenly following - Strong feeling that's a hunter
Buccaneer inching up to the red light - Yeah that's a hunter
Alex reaches out to throw a sticky - "You doof, your in front of a hunter!"
"Is that an angry AI?" - "Its a hunter!"
"Oh, I guess it was a hunter. Well played" - XD
I noticed the orange Buccaneer first at 8:59 after he blew the first Prie and then notice that he follow him for a while before the scene at the red light. So yeah my reaction was also in the lines of "you are directly in front of a hunter!" while he threw the sticky. :D
You also saw him flash his headlights in the bumper reflection at one of the lights - I knew he wasn’t someone to play with right then! Hard to notice while narrating though.
at 11:24 it flashes its headlights, look at the reflection in the bumper.
It's a MATTE ORANGE BUCCANEER! How many of them do you ever see just rolling around as an AI?

Absolutely. I think this series can become so so so so much better with some additional rules and if the survivor actually doesn't panic, pays more attention and does things a bit more different.
It was quite obviously checking out the cars, and then it was buggered by AIs. And on the road it was definitely testing him.

@@rorschach9604 in a lot of previous hunts he actually gets himself in trouble because he doesn't "panic". He usually tries to stay still for far too long while hunters circle him and block him in, often leading to bigger chases with more cars already on the scene. In several of the previous hunts, both ones that he lost and won, he would have been better off just bolting the moment one hunter tries to block him off.
@@dilberthigh That's only been recent. From the beginning of the series, he has panicked more times than he has not. I remember from the first, maybe 10-15 episodes, as soon as the first person noticed him, he panicked and it instantly gave him away, hence why he never won a STH until around episode 16 or 17. I'd say he has a 50/50 chance of getting away with things if he stands still vs a 100% chance of getting caught when panicking instantly. Obviously, if they're 5+ cars around him, he probably should panic, but most of the time, he was panicking when only 1 or 2 cars were around driving in pairs.

How about one of the hunters get randomly selected as an traitor, and they have to blend in but at the same time misdirect the hunters with false info, blowing up the cars, wiffing chases etc? If the hunters find out who the traitor is and kill them, they get access to the super cars?

Hey Alex - Thanks for the GTA Survive the Hunt videos. I'm an old guy (60) that plays GTA in my spare time, and I marvel at your driving skills and knowledge if the streets of Los Santos. My wife is addicted to this series, and my son watches with us. We are all amazed at how you can put it all together - Driving and commentary at the same time, for 50ish minutes at a time. Your vocabulary is varied and interesting. My wife has added some new words to her daily vocab... wonky and shenanigans come to mind.
We've watched all of your GTA Survive the Hunts, and can't wait for the next one to come out. It's an hour when we all sit together and enjoy the antics of you and your friends. Thanks a lot for all the work that goes into each episode. We truly appreciate it.

You can get someone to pump the truck for you, or you can pump the fuel nozzle yourself. They aren't too dissimilar.

This was by far the worst you've done in a STH, especially when you ignored all of the obvious signs about that orange Buccaneer being a hunter.

FailRace, maybe it's something that you've already considered, but how about doing a Survive the Hunt in First Person mode only? This includes the Hunters who would be obligated to play in First Person. I think it would add an element of chaos, uneasiness and realism. It's only a suggestion for a variation on the series. But otherwise loved the video and hope you make more of these!

That supercar rule change is a really good idea! I always thought it was a tad bit unfair to not let the lads use them!

When the AI reacts to another car the way it occasionally reacts to you... it's probably safe to assume that's another player!

One of my favourite things of every month is watching survive the hunt while on break at work, with a nice iced coffee and banana bread, perfect combo ❤️

You know everyone makes mistake. You even make driving mistake too, nobody is a perfect driver. Why do everyone like to think they're perfect driver and never crash?

Nobody is perfect. If Alex and hunter did Survive the Hunt without any mistake, it would be boring. Everyone makes mistakes in everything.
I have a suggestion for survive the hunt, one car challange :) You can choose one car in the begining, and thats it. You have to sneak repair and respray it and so on :) Great video, I really appreciate this series!
The orange ' ai ' moment has to go down as the worst alex moment of this whole series. Love him but damn, that whole saga super pissed me off
Survive the hunt is really a very simple concept. It's basically hide and seek. Not usually something that you would expect to be entertaining content, and yet, I've been consistently happy to see a new episode since I discovered the channel!

I'll say it, I think sometimes Alex knows it's a hunter (not in a cheating way, just not letting on that he's figured it out) and deliberately plays dumb to make the video a little more of a nail biter but regardless I love the videos even if I'm shouting at the TV!!
This is my favorite series! Have you ever thought about being insanely close to the chase party and kind of blend in behind them? (Flip around the freeway and wait for them to leave the docks)

Watching these back, from the latest one (01/01/22) and some of them, you see all of the hunter shenanigans, and some, hunters only appear in chase mode, it's golden entertainment, thank you Alex!

I love playing Survive the Hunt with my friends! When it was my turn to become the hunted, I literally went around the corner, jumped outa my car (went into the ocean) I then spawned a van, and changed my outfit to overalls. I drove in circles for 24hrs, and got out occasionally, acting like I was working on a shop. Never cought.
You should do a mega survive the hunt where you have to survive for like 4 or 5 full GTA V days, but you have the whole map, to drive/walk around in.

If it was uploaded more frequently, it would lose its special aura. Once a month means we have something to look forward to every month and it doesn’t get old. They already have to tweak the rules and try different ideas to freshen it up sometimes, so doing it twice a month would be a death sentence.
It's also a major pain to film them, this was the 4th attempt that night. You're always free to watch my videos too ;)
@@longbowxmkii Just wondering then as to why it hasn't been mentioned more as the videos were released more frequently in the past which has doubled in the time between episodes? (sometimes issues were mentioned) The discussions are very understandable to myself as to why they aren't out right away as it is explained along with the amount of stuff to get together. But mode idea it self has been run through a lot of times now so any issues that occur should be known now and so the fix or reset that is required can be done quicker?
Additionally why not have people whom have taken part with their views being recorded to be linked in the description so that way we don't need to catch someone like yourself saying that you have put up videos of this from your perspective? I have attempted to look a bit but the description doesn't seem to ever include links to people taking part or their perspective except for the discussions map recorder without a link at times.
I'd like to finally clarify that I am wondering why the lack of communication on the channel in regards to delays/changes along with a lack of other channel linking of those who take part. Sorry if it doesn't come across as such. :s
@@metalswifty23 Once a month for a series that doesn't change a lot, doesn't add a lot of new rules, doesn't make it fresh enough is just not good imo. It does have a special aura but I honestly would expect that by this episode, A LOT of things would have changed. New tactics, less panic from Alex, more diversity, more coordination from the hunters...
I've started doing something similar with a group of my friends on my channel. It's not the same as STH, but it definitely has some similarities! If you give them a watch, let me know what you think.
36:11 There is a car behind Alex in the curb lane (he's in the center lane) that has their lights off. Watches Alex blow up a car and then moves over to Alex's lane and takes part in the final chase. Alex didn't see him. Alex's driving was not sharp like it usually is. He missed that completely.

The reckless risks and modified cars are the best episodes. I'd love to see you utilize the trophy truck and lose the hunters with it's ability to climb certain barriers other can't.

Alex's driving has been getting progressively worse for a while now
The Hunter's driving has gotten exponentially more efficient in 30 episodes
On a scale of 1 to plank, Alex was absolutely plank through the whole thing. Good driving mostly, but holy bad decisions batman.

The second I saw the hood of the BRIGHT MATTE ORANGE buccaneer, I knew it had to be a hunter, and I was laughing as you were confused since you never realized it was a player, as it was checking you out, then it watches you blow up a pri lol
To be fair, The colour of the Buccaneer isn't a giveaway of it not being an AI, they spawn in that colour.

- Instantly modifies a normal car to make it unfair again

Not unfair. Its not a super car. Its just got a turbo and armour. Which do cancel out a bit. The odds are still over a dozen to 1.
As a track athlete I was smiling ear to ear when you found the track, then you ran a 300m and my day was made. I never knew there was a track in GTA
Also, to answer Alex’s questions about the race and lanes: 400m and below you have to stay in your lane, 800m you have to stay in your lane for the first 100m before you can cut in to lane 1 for the rest of the race. 1500m there’s no lane rules, lane 1 the whole way

I like how we can tell that he might’ve failed early on because the video is slightly longer than the time that it takes for one day to pass in gta time
I wouldn’t say that’s a giveaway. You have to take into account the intro and outro, which can sometimes be quite long because of shenanigans. Videos he survives in are always 50+ minutes, and I vaguely remember there being 55 minute ones that he’s survived in (or at least close to).
There will never be a dead-on 48-minute video with intro‘s and outro‘s.
I just love how you know the name of literally every single car in GTA V.
