- With a whole host of the normal restrictions take of, we dive into a crazy no limits round of survive the hunt. Ramp tracks, flying cars and even Formula 1 cars give chase while i try to do everything i can to stay alive.

How about have two teams of hunters go after Alex competitively... team Red vs Blue with color coded dress and vehicles.
So, they would have the incentive to try to stop the other team while also getting Alex?

I love this idea with F.F.S idea of the best team wins type strategy
That could be amazing, but how far would rivalry go? Would they be able to kill each other? Then they'd have to both hunt and hide at the same time so this wouldn't just turn into a team death match.
@@kaksspl I was thinking more like allowed to pump each other on the road and have different coms, if one gets killed by the other team they can rejoin

So a couple of things: day and night wasn't synced up in the first one, cos I was the white Comet dressed as Alex trying to confuse people again, turns out I only really confused Alex haha, when I found Alex in the 9F it was daylight but night on his end, hence why lights on cars were being odd, I was trying to confuse the hunters again 😅

Yeah, kinda hard to pull that off when general mayhem is the rule of thumb.
I knew it! He was saying Laddo because he wears a suit jacket, but I was like "Laddo's usually wearing blue and that's looking a lot like Alex's stock character."
Was definitely harder being a mayhem one, should of saved it for another time 😅

The hunters seem better at killing Alex when they are just pratting about than when they are actually hunting him.
Haha yes, there's so much chaos, and they're so busy trying to get each other, that it's very difficult for Alex to make it out of the crossfire unscathed!
Would be interesting to see if Alex had a better chance in a No Limits if the hunters "behaved" more and played more like they normally do. But less chaos means less silly fun :P
Well you do tend to find things better when you’re not looking for them
He just needs to get better at the controls for diving and shooting, although I know racing is his primary thing.
On the swimming, you could buy the all black wetsuit and set it up as one of your outfits and if you feel at the start you may need to swim equip it, and when you crash in the water you'll go right to the tank and mask, and with it being all black it doesn't look too suspect.

Personally I rock the tiger stripe wetsuit, but to each their own. The important part is setting it as a custom outfit so you can quick change into it.
@@brian_sipe the solid black option is for keeping it as plain looking as possible for the hunt. I suppose he could browse a little and see what one he likes and thinks won't get him caught up in shenanigans...
I can only imagine Gliscor's reaction at the end there...

I can’t stop watching his GTA survive the hunt I’m currently on my 4th time through I think lol I’m begging failrace to make a 48 GTA v hour game which would be roughly 2 hours in real time

Had an idea while watching this today for the regular STH. Since each Pri represents a hunter, what if each time Alex blew up a Pri it eliminated that hunter from the chase. Gives an extra incentive to find and blow up Pris to slowly thin out the chasing group.
I can't wait for survive the hunt *but Alex decides to take out the hunters one by one*

@@dustymooneye5858 did.a version on GTA4. As they get killed they join Alex in hunting down the remaining pack. And of coursr FH4 where he chases his friends across Edinburgh. Each time they get booped, its back to the park to respawn a new car. They try to not get booped. Lowest score wins. Alex going for as many boops as possible.

On the 2nd attempt the entire group of us was there. I was just trying to get close to even see where alex was and then got picked off without even firing a shot.

I thought the subway tunnel was intense in the first one, but the second water tunnel bit was amazing. And that sub had perfect timing to appear when it did!

That bit in the tunnel was straight out of an action movie, especially the beginning. The protagonist sees a car falling into the water... He points his gun at it and waits... Sees no one... was it empty? He turns around... There's an enemy RIGHT BEHIND HIM, but our hero shoots him in the head before he can react!

Same, I wouldn't have taken a chance to see if they would leave. I would rather run and ensure they don't have a chance to kill me and then set up again once it was clear.
Good move with the comet, it was definitely following you. They were hoping to freak you out by suddenly pulling into the storm drain, but they still weren't sure.
I'd love to see a Survive the hunt, where all peds drive aggressively so you'd have to blend in by pretending to be aggressive AI.
I think the best moments of DTS is defiantly when all the guys are literally right there next to you but don't have a clue about it being you! Gets the heart racing... Discussing DTS is going to be good to watch!

The 1st. I got a little heated to be honest, the immense amount of chaos on that one road, I would've driven off as soon as I got pushed onto the road.
I understand Alex doesn't want to be chased, he was trying to stay hidden, but it was obvious he was going to be discovered anyways, that he was going to be destroyed there.
He would've had a chance of surviving longer if he just took off as soon as he was pushed onto the road.
Still loved the StH, good job to the Hunters

It was a solid strategy for the hunters.
The mining truck and ramp car annoy and disorient traffic while the undercover hunters pretend to avoid the vehicles or panic run into the crowd- they then inspect the wittled down traffic carefully for following what they did or taking new routes.
Seems more than a coincidence that they all show up and hang around your location both times. I think someone figured out a way to track your location.
A bicycles-only race would be interesting and fun, since they would have to get off to shoot, and they could use the sprinting quite a bit. The city would be a great place for it. You get a bike, they get a bike, everyone gets a bike, ane everyone pedals. As an exception, you can get a scooter, to throw them off course. Survive the hunt, bicycle edition!

Nice extra, thanks. It seemed to be not so much of the hunters finding Alex, but Alex somehow finding himself in the middle of the hunter's shenanigans.

I hope in a future No Limits Survive The Hunt, FailRace sneaks to high ground and slowly picks off the hunters one by one sniper style, moving to new locations as needed to not be caught. It is no limits after all.

It would be good to see a formulation of the rules that minimize passive gameplay like waiting and idling around.
The perfect match for the hunted is to spend all the 24hs idling.
It'd be good if all players were actively doing something.
In AC multiplayer and in Among Us everyone polices everyone else, maybe something like that.
A surprise, to be sure, but a welcome one.
Re-breather is one way to do it, you could also save a scuba suit in your outfits, and just switch to that outfit also works, and you dont have to fuss with changing re-breathers, and the scuba suit might be faster underwater
2019: Survive the Hunt, in which our host gets chased round the map by terrifying dealers of death and carnage and bin murders
2021: Survive the Hunt, in which our host gets chased round the map by "a bunch of incompetent fools"

Haven't watched yet, but part of me is expecting all the hunters to be dressed like Blakey or the exactly the same.
I love these so much. The whole scene with the RCV (the blue and white water cannon truck) was great, and then a dump truck pile driver that, somehow, I kinda saw coming. Doesn't get much better.
A mid-month 'Survive the Hunt'? I am so lucky, I think I'll go play the lotto!
So happy we got an 'extra one' this month, even if it's a 'special edition/no limits' type. Definitely my favorite GTA content, always looking forward to the next one, can't get enough! Thank you Failrace & crew for taking the time to make these for us!
Ideas:
1. Do a whole episode on foot
2. Get in a blimp or helicopter and act like the air unit until they realise it’s you

Yea, this just confirms my theory that somebody's always cheating ether lurking at the map or pointing gun and see a health bar, there's a bigger chance winning the lottery than Alex caught in demolition derby for 5-20 minutes on the street he happens to be on out of THE WHOLE CITY! C'mon now.

Another thing you could do for bailing into the water that’s a bit harder to do than just equipping rebreathers but is way more helpful for underwater is buying a scuba suit outfit, saving it, and then switching over to that outfit. Benefits of the scuba suit is faster swim speed (I think) and infinite oxygen

Forget rebreathers, if you have a scuba suit saved, you can switch to that, and then when you get away, change clothes again to something different than before.

I would really love to see a Survive the Hunt, but have a guest who hides from the hunters with you, and that guest is one of the best GTA players out there. I'd love to see how well he can do in shootouts and escaping

You should use the vehicle menu to put your car back into storage (assuming you are allowed to do that). Also the ramp cars and ramp truck were buffed some time back and so they survive loads of ramp action, so they're not easily damaged.

Yes he did, more than once. First death was pretty much the result of him saying where Alex was. I feel cheated :(
Ramp and Wedge are Vehicle Warehouse vehicles, Buggy can be repaired in LS Customs, wedge needs to be re-summoned, but it counts as a standard mechanic vehicle, so it comes back straight to you.

there was a car at the top of the road that saw him going down there to begin with, he kept running while on foot I reckon that gave him away, that car told everyone "he's in the canals" then too much back and forth in the canals while probably being seen from the road

Not cool what Laddo did. Against the spirit of the game.
The ammunation by the smaller construction site would b less likely noticeable if entered on foot (for rebreathers and such). If possible try to armor and fully upgrade several normally spawning electric cars (coil, prius, etc) for use with this mode. Do cops turn a blind eye rather than loose wanted level. Good going on an incredibly hard game mode.
Anyone else hoping Tom will be able to join the next no limits edition for a second attempt?
the 'block an alley with a truck' -trick being difficult to pull off under pressure and requiring some luck just makes me think of one word:

Ayyyyy a half month treat
Have you considered plotting a map of the locations you run into/are found by hunters most often so you can try to avoid those areas? Also I might try to go on the offensive more often early on in chases. If there are only 1 or 2 hunters chasing you it would be relatively easy to turn a sharp corner then immediately pop out guns blazing before more hunters could respond.
43:25 Amazing how these dudes can just "guess" that you are under a bridge. The reason they are all swarming on the bridge above is because they are watching your marker on the map.
