There needs to be a helicopter escape next. Have a helicopter waiting at a specific place that only Alex knows about, i.e. behind a barn, in a field, etc. (not someplace obvious like an airport.) After 3 Pris try making it to the helicopter incognito and take off. That way the hunters either have to find Alex or find where the getaway chopper is and set an ambush. I think the thought of an ambush combined with Alex's paranoia would make for really interesting endings to Survive The Hunt. The escape series is cool but the endings get sort of ruined when everyone knows exactly where you're going to be in the end.

@@sarge-rf8mq then they'd just see the heli flying around. tbh a hidden heli escape would be pretty neat, but it'd be super easy to see it from a long distance cuz of the noise and flashing lights. the heli pilot should be sitting out of the heli until alex gets there. but if that, alex could just fly it himself and not have a friend waiting in one spot for an hour being bored. so someone should park a personal heli in a hidden spot for alex, and they could join the hunt. but not tell anybody where the heli is or camp around in the entire section of the map where the heli is parked. that way nobody has to sit around doing nothing the whole time. some good heli hiding spots would be next to the tiny pond on the far side of mt gordo in the middle of the trees, in the cove cave on the sand bar, in the middle of the chiliad forest surrounded by trees, in the aircraft scrapyard on/next to wreckage not in the middle of the paths, the bottom of the quarry behind the machinery towers, the homeless camp at the top of the map behind the buildings, the tucked away ranch at the ease base of chiliad down a long dirt road, any of the dirt road dead ends that go to a dock, one of the islands off paleto, etc. there's tonnnnns of good spots even at those dead end roads to tuck a heli into where it still has room for the rotors.

It's because they didn't actually make it their personal vehicle, they probably just grabbed it off the street, done it up and left it without insurance and a tracker

For the freeroam events, if you go into the interaction menu and "hide options" you can hide all freeroam events. That should clear the disabled notifications on blown prixs for everybody

Yup, I count that as an escape. Because the hunters knew where Stevie was, they just went after him. Unlike the aircraft escape where all the knew was that you where heading north.
Alex, for the next STH, you should make a Plan A and a Plan B. Plan A would be your primary plan of escape, but if something happens that prevents you from escaping that way, or if something like this happens again, you can fall back onto your Plan B. Always have multiple ways of escape.
I think this one was normal and the other ones were excessively paranoid. AI's do weird stuff so as long as he doesn't stand out he can perfectly be a bit relaxed while driving.
if Alex has the footage, could you maybe convince him to upload it as a Survive the Hunt outtake? I'd certainly be interested to watch just how efficient you were, and i'm sure other people would be as well :)

They did about 6 or so Survive The Hunts in Forza Horizon 4. I don't know if they are still doing them or not, as they tend to be a bit more infrequent
That was an amazing episode Alex! For the ending I would suggest either forbid the hunters from camping the escape vehicle or allow for you (and hunters, maybe...) to shoot while in the vehicle but you have to kill/shake all of them before reaching the sea
I was genuinely happy to see a new episode of this after one day spending all day searching for all the survive the hunt vids… and watching them in one day lol 😂
Each of these episodes are great but I really feel like Alex has got so good at this point that more challenge needs to be appointed to him. I would quite like to see some more challenges for Alex to do before he can make his getaway. Maybe more Pris or maybe the Pris can be in even more harder to reach places.
Gotta LOVE when you've been sitting here hitting the refresh button for the past eight, going on nine minutes and nothing shows up for the new STH. WTF?!?! No notifications at all. Not even on my phone. If I hadn't of checked the actual channel, I would have missed it altogether. Oh well. Poor Stevie gets thrown out and almost ran over. Hahahahaha. The first Pri didn't register that it had been exploded, because of the Go To Grand Banks Steel Foundry mission that was active at the same time. Another great episode. Took a little bit to get going and then it was off to the races.
Maybe as a backup to the game's notification of destroyed vehicles, perhaps you could have whoever is recording the map make a secondary announcement when it's not clear if the players have been notified.
Sometimes there are no players recording the map, as was the case in this one. Also, how would they know exactly? Unless Alex/FailRace messages them, saying that he's blown up a prii at a certain location, they'd have no idea either, as even if the map recorder had a prii out on the street, they'd still be two other prii's which Alex could/needs to blow up. This might not work either, as Alex would want to drive away from the area as quickly as possible, so by the time he's able to message the map recorder, there would be nothing the hunters could do. So that could be at least 2-5 prii's sitting out on the street that have a potential to not give their owners notifications, and the map recorder would be none the wiser, as only their personal vehicle is shown on the map, not friends' personal vehicles. I may be overthinking things here, but this is just my thoughts.
His Voice Sorta reminds me of Stampy but for more Mature Audiences, I enjoyed watching this series when i first saw the first episode in 2015 and instantly got Hooked since i was previously doing a little Gta 4 Roleplay back in 2012 this reminded me of that so i tried this with a couple of friends and had a Blast, Great Content love getting some food and just binge watching episodes
Really looking forward to the analysis of this, I'd really like to know how and when they came up with the boat idea. Shame the mods don't work because the getaway vehicle should really be invisible until called in.

I have been binging these of late and I just have one thing to say. This is left Constantly Alex is saying he needs to turn left or make a left and then he turns right! it's maddening
It was nice to see the older version but after so many episodes of it, this new escape style is refreshing and it's very exciting when its over an hour long for me personally.
New idea, in addition to blowing up Pri and escaping, also keep track of who killed you, and put them on your hitlist. If you manage to revenge-kill whoever killed you on your last loss, you win immediately. The risk is very high, but the immediate win would be worth the effort to try and set up some sorta ambush. The mindgames could actually go both ways, because now they know who you're probably going for, so they could try to counter your ambush and trigger a trap prematurely via disguises, etc.
I have to say thanks for always explaining StH at the start. That was how I became a regular watcher, I opened #19 or so and thanks to your explanation I could watch without being confused. More creators should produce each video as if it was the first for someone.
Don't know what Alex means by "someday I'll do a train escape in one of these" in my book that "jump off an mountain into a moving train escape" against Daniel and Husky in manhunt back in 2014 counts as being part of this series, so he already had one amazing train escape.
I appreciate that they manage to do this once a month at all. Certainly it would be awesome if more were possible, but considering the amount of time and effort that goes into the 45 minutes to an hour (to an hour and twenty in STH: The Movie we got last month) I'm amazed that we get one a month.
Okay, an idea to drive the hunters nuts. Blow up the three cars... then wait. Then blow up another one... and WAIT.... make them run for the hills and come back.

I'm excited for the discussion video for this one. The absolute chaos that the hunters must have been going through trying to find you, especially once you got towards the end there. Should be a good laugh.
I'd love a version with a player only on the map and they have to announce your location to the hunters every 5 minutes or so to keep up the tension and chaos throughout.
I think getting in your personal vehicle once you're leaving the city would be a good strategy. ( I assume it's allowed since you used one in a video a while back)
That was epic. I'd love if there were maybe multiple escape options, so if one escape route is compromised, you could use the next. (eg. Plan A Sandy Shores Boat, Plan B Paleto Bay Heli, Plan C LS Airport Plane) That would make you have to zip around the map if one method didn't work.
Occasionally mentions "been doing these for years". Has obviously played a whooole lot of GTA V (I suspect a whole lot of the former ones as well). Keeps getting in on the passenger side of cars, taking a couple extra seconds every single time...
The ending should definitely be chiseled IMHO - this way the chasers can do eff all during the blow-up-the-Pris phase, just get in boats and jetskis and keep tailing the escape boat all the time. They know you will have to turn up there eventually...

Make it a rule that the hunters can't just camp by the escape vehicle. Really unfair that you've gone through so much stealth, only to have it ruined by the hunters who have no clue where you are at.
Here’s an idea for the blowing up of the pris: There are only 3 pris and Alex has to blow up all 3. Have a neutral player place them and Alex gets a map showing their locations but the hunters don’t. If the hunters find one they ARE allowed to camp and guard it, since Alex will have to try to blow it up sooner or later. Try to pick locations which aren’t visible from the air, or have one in a highly visible place, one in a very obscure location outside the city, and one in between like in a parking garage. Just an idea.

Maybe I stand alone but I actually prefer the survive 24 hours version where the goal is to blow up as many prius as possible. This current format has a lot of down-time in comparison and few chases. A schedule should be set where every third STH you do an escape. Other suggestions to make it more challenging: - Allow hunters to respawn after 3/5/10 minutes - Allow hunters to use supercars after 30 minutes - Allow an undercover hunter that gives them your approximate location every 3 or 5 minutes when not in chase. Thank you for keeping this up and going for so long. It is always entertaining.
Nice vid. you coud try a triathlon type were you need to do car and blow up a pri then get to a boat and blow up perhaps even a pink boat then make it too one of the airfields to get away but you have to fly over 3 locations or something. a plane chase would be cool.
So I go to marine corps boot camp on the 14th so I’ll miss the survive the hunts for October, November and December but on the bright side that’s 3 whole videos that I get to watch when I get back
Idea: To avoid getaway campers (and a bored getaway driver), your geteaway driver should be a traitor hunter. A small dose of among us. The traitor acts like a hunter until you text them a location then they try to break off from the hunters and come pick you up. That way hunters don't know who/where to camp. Bonus points if the traitor acts the part well and the hunters don't figure out who it is among them.
They had no clue the whole time. Probably cause half of them weren’t even on the road haha they were all just following the boat. Very good sneaks, the getaway was meh but, not on anyone’s part really. Just needs a better getaway plan that doesn’t include the hunters knowing and just camping the boat. His Voice Sorta reminds me of Stampy but for more Mature Audiences, I enjoyed watching this series when i first saw the first episode in 2015 and instantly got Hooked since i was previously doing a little Gta 4 Roleplay back in 2012 this reminded me of that so i tried this with a couple of friends and had a Blast, Great Content love getting some food and just binge watching episodes
Would love to see a survive the hunt where you take them out one by one then eventually escape. More risky but would be entertaining
Really looking forward to the analysis of this, I'd really like to know how and when they came up with the boat idea. Shame the mods don't work because the getaway vehicle should really be invisible until called in.

It was nice to see the older version but after so many episodes of it, this new escape style is refreshing and it's very exciting when its over an hour long for me personally.

New idea, in addition to blowing up Pri and escaping, also keep track of who killed you, and put them on your hitlist. If you manage to revenge-kill whoever killed you on your last loss, you win immediately. The risk is very high, but the immediate win would be worth the effort to try and set up some sorta ambush. The mindgames could actually go both ways, because now they know who you're probably going for, so they could try to counter your ambush and trigger a trap prematurely via disguises, etc.
I have to say thanks for always explaining StH at the start. That was how I became a regular watcher, I opened #19 or so and thanks to your explanation I could watch without being confused. More creators should produce each video as if it was the first for someone.
Don't know what Alex means by "someday I'll do a train escape in one of these" in my book that "jump off an mountain into a moving train escape" against Daniel and Husky in manhunt back in 2014 counts as being part of this series, so he already had one amazing train escape.
Love these survive the hunts, need more than one a month.

I appreciate that they manage to do this once a month at all. Certainly it would be awesome if more were possible, but considering the amount of time and effort that goes into the 45 minutes to an hour (to an hour and twenty in STH: The Movie we got last month) I'm amazed that we get one a month.

After a long pause between watching StH's I have now returned and lord was it a good one.
Ordered and picked up some Olive Garden. Bunkered down in my truck. Turned on the big screen and wifi connected my phone. Now, watch "The Great Escape" starring Alex aka Cosino Royal. Spoil alert....amazing ending.

I'm excited for the discussion video for this one. The absolute chaos that the hunters must have been going through trying to find you, especially once you got towards the end there. Should be a good laugh.

I'd love a version with a player only on the map and they have to announce your location to the hunters every 5 minutes or so to keep up the tension and chaos throughout.

I think getting in your personal vehicle once you're leaving the city would be a good strategy. ( I assume it's allowed since you used one in a video a while back)
That was epic. I'd love if there were maybe multiple escape options, so if one escape route is compromised, you could use the next. (eg. Plan A Sandy Shores Boat, Plan B Paleto Bay Heli, Plan C LS Airport Plane) That would make you have to zip around the map if one method didn't work.
Occasionally mentions "been doing these for years". Has obviously played a whooole lot of GTA V (I suspect a whole lot of the former ones as well). Keeps getting in on the passenger side of cars, taking a couple extra seconds every single time...
The ending should definitely be chiseled IMHO - this way the chasers can do eff all during the blow-up-the-Pris phase, just get in boats and jetskis and keep tailing the escape boat all the time. They know you will have to turn up there eventually...

Make it a rule that the hunters can't just camp by the escape vehicle. Really unfair that you've gone through so much stealth, only to have it ruined by the hunters who have no clue where you are at.
It IS a rule. But they can search the area.
Here’s an idea for the blowing up of the pris: There are only 3 pris and Alex has to blow up all 3. Have a neutral player place them and Alex gets a map showing their locations but the hunters don’t. If the hunters find one they ARE allowed to camp and guard it, since Alex will have to try to blow it up sooner or later. Try to pick locations which aren’t visible from the air, or have one in a highly visible place, one in a very obscure location outside the city, and one in between like in a parking garage. Just an idea.

BTW, I'm loving the escape series. I didn't hear when the hunters, which I'd especially like to thank for their efforts, were released to cover the Sultan Sea area. Maybe nobody can go can go north of a certain line until the 3rd car is destroyed? Certainly, the hunters were not able to cover the Sultan Sea before the 3rd car was destroyed?

Alex, exploded personal vehicles do not produce notifications during open world events, and there was an open world event during the first explosion.
For me, Survive The Hunt is so special, I always save it for very special days.

Equip a rebreather, you can do that underwater.
Scuba gear you need to be surfaced to change outfits.
Would have been fun if you took the train from Los Santos to Sandy Shores after the 3rd explosion xD
For future STHs, you need to ban the sticky bomb. Puts more stress on Alex blowing up the Pree's.
Maybe I stand alone but I actually prefer the survive 24 hours version where the goal is to blow up as many prius as possible. This current format has a lot of down-time in comparison and few chases. A schedule should be set where every third STH you do an escape. Other suggestions to make it more challenging:
- Allow hunters to respawn after 3/5/10 minutes
- Allow hunters to use supercars after 30 minutes
- Allow an undercover hunter that gives them your approximate location every 3 or 5 minutes when not in chase.

Nice vid. you coud try a triathlon type were you need to do car and blow up a pri then get to a boat and blow up perhaps even a pink boat then make it too one of the airfields to get away but you have to fly over 3 locations or something. a plane chase would be cool.

So I go to marine corps boot camp on the 14th so I’ll miss the survive the hunts for October, November and December but on the bright side that’s 3 whole videos that I get to watch when I get back
Idea:
To avoid getaway campers (and a bored getaway driver), your geteaway driver should be a traitor hunter. A small dose of among us. The traitor acts like a hunter until you text them a location then they try to break off from the hunters and come pick you up. That way hunters don't know who/where to camp. Bonus points if the traitor acts the part well and the hunters don't figure out who it is among them.
They had no clue the whole time. Probably cause half of them weren’t even on the road haha they were all just following the boat. Very good sneaks, the getaway was meh but, not on anyone’s part really. Just needs a better getaway plan that doesn’t include the hunters knowing and just camping the boat. I like the helicopter idea on one of the top comments.👍
Never even spotted once.....right up to the end. Most stealthiest sth yet. Sickening we have to wait another month tho for the next one
I think you guys should do a full map survive the hunt, having loads more hunters would halt the boredom
