I love karine so much. Memoir, overture, boundless and fate man are among my favorite colder weather scents. My significant other and i also LOVE figment woman and interlude woman. If i had to pick a favorite perfumer it would be her. Have more of her bottles than anyone else's in my 30 bottle collection.

Was pleasantly surprised after seeing my notifications. Thanks for honoring my favorite extremely talented and creative parfumer Ram 🙏 I wouldn't be surprised if Karine has the largest Amouage portfolio for a parfumer. It's apparent Chong had a liking for Karine by tasking her with additional projects after Memoir Man by giving her keys to further utilize the Amouage castle.. what an incredible honor! Excellent job of bringing these frags to life. I also regret not purchasing the Amouage Woman line sooner and have recently started adding some to my collection (Memoir, Overture, Epic, Lyric). You've completely sold me on Interlude Woman and I'll be looking for a vintage bottle in the near future. For personal reasons, Memoir Man has my heart and takes the top spot (have 2x❤ vintage backup bottles 😅) with Overture as a close, close second.

Myths Man is a masterpiece 10/10❤. When I hear people say that Xerjoff, PDM is the best, I think they're joking.
They are just ignorant of what else is out there... or just following the influencers 🙂
@@RamseytheRamMan, every time I wear Myths, Fate Overture, Memoir.. it's like a mystical aura surrounds me that I always try to understand, it's amazing what Amouage has created in the past. Compliments, I don't give a damn about them, bothering someone, I don't care.

I totally get why you labeled Fate Man at 4th place as controversial. I used to struggle a bit with it and still isn’t my favorite. From a structure and complexity standpoint though I think it’s a work of art. The way it develops vertically is pure mastery. The cumin intertwines with Immortelle by the shared curry facet and then Immortelle’s gooey syrupy nuances make it seamlessly blend with Labdanum. The whole evolution from top to base is flawless. No wonder it’s Chong’s favorite Amouage

@@RamseytheRam On another note, fenugreek is actually as rancid as you said lol. That’s why I can’t wear Opus VII, I can’t get past it. It’s been released in the same year as Fate and it shares the same zero fucks given attitude, but pushed to the limit. Fate starts brutal but softens, Opus VII starts brutal ends brutal
Dont give up on Opus VII ... i ended up loving the stuff... also if you got a modern bottle try the vintage 😅

I haven’t watched this yet, but Overture Man is my favorite from Karine. It’s just amazing. Can’t wait to see which Amouage you choose. 😂

Amouage Overture Man is also my number 1 from this woman !
It is one of the best boozy fragrance and one of two best Cognac scents of all time.
The second one that I've tried is Roja's Enigma Pour Homme Parfum.
I was on a little vacation for 5 days, and now I'm watching your videos.

I'm enjoying Fate Man. I do wish the strong cumin lasted longer. The dry cedar and sandalwood and labdanum trifecta make the scent very close to Tobacco Oud (at least as I smell things).
I love fate man too... I will be reviewing it soon 💪🐏
@@RamseytheRam Looking forward to it! You think if I could grab a bottle of Fate for 150 it would be something to jump on? Few are available now, but I do find it similar to several in my collection (perhaps Tobacco Oud most of all). What you think?

I think you did mention Boundless in the cacao video. You were talking about Royal Tobacco and how you picked up on that note although it isn’t listed and then talking about how it was pretty close to Boundless and you didn’t need it.

Ram, im looking for a cumin bomb since declaration does not do it anymore for me. Is fate man quite oriental i assume? Because im also looking towards eau d hermes which i guess might be the better option? I am looking for a juiced up declaration ;D.
Go with eau d'Hermes if you want a juiced up declaration....BUT Fate Man is full bottle worthy as well...maybe one of the best cumin notes in all of perfume
@@RamseytheRam yeah i was hovering towards eau d’hermes. Fate man can be had for around 200€ at the moment but thats a purchase for another time :). Already did some purchasing. Cheers,
Coeur de Vetiver Sacre by Karine Vinchon Spehner is the best Vetiver scent IMO

Some of my favorite Rum fragrances are cigar rum, fan your flames, Rojas PDLN 2, L'Insoumis & actually one from todays video Myths Man 🙂🥃
Thanks so much man! Owned a bottle of fan your flames but the coconut was too prominent for me ended up selling it, got my nose on most likely a newer batch of myths man and it was ok nothing special though, will definitely check out those others!

I really can't stand the new unisex move. Some scents bring to mind the masculine and some the feminine. Sure we are free to use but I would like a hint before I spend $25+ on a .07 mg sample.
100% agree ... especially since in Oman they didnt adopt lets say the wests Gender fluidity... i wish they would have stayed true to who they were but thats what happens when you lets the monied interests in, they start to dictate things like this and pretty soon you have lost your brand, just ask Jean Paul Guerlain 😔

Great video Ramsey as always, one of the best ones out there, i need ur suggestion tho i really want to buy bel ami, but i find it hard to find an older bottle what do u think about the new bel ami formulations is it worth getting instead of rojas fetish for example, kind regards Daniel
You dont have to get the original shaker bottle the first reform will work just fine as well... if you cant find either I would go for the modern flanker bel ami vetiver 🤌🤌🤌

Batucada is an absolutely horrible fragrance! If I remember correctly it smells like mint, sperm and something rotting on a beach😆. Terrible clash of notes, sweet and salty and just dreadful.
