      Is it recommended for rebonded hair? Damaged rebonded hair, already treated with olaplex. Is no. 6 a recommendation?

      I applied a "very small amount" as directed on the bottle. No difference, just as frizzy as ever. I imagine if I apply any more it will end up like argan oil, all greasy. Is this because I've air dried?

    Something to add for those curly hairs: I have hair that stays straight when combed but curly when uncombed and I hover between 2c and 3a when curled. Without using Olaplex I get more 2c hair but with Olaplex I get more 3a type hair because the bonds makes the curls get tighter and curlier and I've had amazing reactions to it. I use teeny tiny amount in my hand and just crunches my hair all over without combing it. I air dry in 2 hours and man, it's shiny and even bouncy! I use sea salt spray to keep the curls tighter and longer. This will last me 3/4 days before the curls give out. Coming from a guy.

    Thank you for the review! You said you use Olaplaex all the time. 4 & 5 are for damaged hair only. What shampoo and conditioner are you using daily otherwise? I'd like to use no. 3 after, but need a shampoo and conditioner. My hair is generally dry, thin, course.When you combine it with the oil, are you using that on wet or dry hair? You hair is lovely!

    • @Blondeamy
      @Blondeamy  2 роки тому +1

      Hey! I still use Olaplex No 4 and 5 frequently as whilst you get best results when your hair is severely damaged, there are other damaging elements the hair can endure so I like to use it as a preventative. Other shampoo and conditioners I use honestly depend on what I'm currently trying on my channel which you can keep an eye on if you subscribe 😊
      I usually like to apply oil to my hair straight after washing it, with Olaplex no 6. When using just oil, I do tend to do this on wet and dry hair but I definitely prefer no 6 on freshly washed hair!
      Hope this helps!

      Hey just have to mention, no3 is to be used PRIOR to shampoo and conditioner. Lookup the Blowout Professor he does great videos on it. If you were to use it in order, No. 3 is applied after you make your hair damn (not wet). Wait at least 10 min or longer. Then shampoo out, best to do this twice to make sure you remove all the oil on your scalp. Shampoo is not for hair, it is directly on the scalp and once done you can smooth it through your hair to remove excess no. 3. Follow up with a conditioner or mask, then use no. 6 at the end. Oil can be applied on damp or dry hair to the ends.
