@@EdDiazKeys Dude: Without these videos, I`d be totally uninterested in the layering and studio ability of my Fantom FX88 which I initially bought to teach myself Piano. Once I get the hang of it properly I`ll follow suit and make some easy to follow layering, recording videos: Thanks a lot!!!!
@@EdDiazKeys And of course I`ll give your channel and name a mention. I have another channel with couple thousand subs but I haven't uploaded in a long time. Again...THANK YOU for taking your time to make these.
Awesome stuff . I can't thank you enough. You've saved me hours of thumbing thru the manual and trial and error. You da man migas recipe is a nice touch Thanks Sam in Austin TX
I like these two videos, you cover a lot in a short time and you move from one tool to the next and keep it flowing. Can you show how to add a bridge and then copy and past the first section after the bridge please.
I hope Roland comes out with a new Fantom model. I would like to put a V-synth GT together with a new Fantom model or the Jupiter 80 if they don't come out with one soon. I like having the squencer and the programmable pad function on the Fantom. Would be cool if they had the same power of the Jupiter 80 and the V-synth GT and the Fantom power all in one new version of the Fantom. They would be the Best on the world.
hey ed one question i do have. ive been trying to do my own research on it however, i want to get a roland integra 7 into my keyboard rig which includes a fantom x7, and an m-audio axiom midi controller currently running into various software plug ins. my question to you is, on the fantom Xs performance mode, is there a way to split the keyboard and have one side control the fantoms sounds and the other side control the integra 7 sounds? if so id like to know! thank you sir! i appreciate it
Can I take what I record on the sequencer and assign it to the pads for use in live performance? Also if I can assign it to the pads can I assign what I record as a loop as opposed to just a backing track?
You know actually, Roland sequencers has been working like this at least since the early 90s because on my XP-60 it has the rehersal feature and I never had to stop while recording are changing instruments either ;-)
I hope you get this I need a lil help! i just got my Fantom x8, after recording for like lets say 8measure, then coping that 8=16, I need ad the hook for like 8more, then copy the 8back after that, is this possiable?
This is too complicated to use on stage as most things are hidden in screen menus that are hard to find without constant referral to the manual. And that's a big book...
I've had an X-6 for years and have never figured this sort of thing out. THANKS!
Just got an x8 and your videos have been a life saver. Thanks
Great to hear!

Motifs have rehearsal mode as well. I wonder if this is standard on all workstations?

How do you mute a track (on a midi sequence you made) so that you may play a particular track live?
when I record a drum beat, it records other sounds too at the same time, what do I need to do to correct that?
can we use it as an acmp too ?
How do I use the effects aa they are in patch mode? They seem to be dry when I record.
I have the new Roland FA it looks very similar
