If i were to use a TP Link POE switch would this still work if the modem was connected to switch and the switch to the nvr. And the cameras to the NVR? Or do all cameras have to be connected to the NVR sorry hope this makes sense.

Installed it myself without any issues. The wifi signal is great even ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxE_D_sddGAdiVUKp7PkkmyxO7bRtgqmk5 when the router is located far away. I really enjoy the night vision feature that allows me to see clearly any activity near our house (mostly cars and wild animals). The motion detection is helpful to me as well to monitor what happens on our front.
Can I connect 3 poe 16 port switches to one 16 port switch? If so, should I choose gigabit switch or poe+ switch?

How would I setup multiple TVs from different rooms in my home, that has distance in between but would mirror the main TV connected to the DVR that came with my 3TB and 16 channel system. I'd like it where I could have a TV in my basement, bedroom, kitchen and 2 livingrooms where they each mirror the the main TV and each other. How would I set this up, or connect everything together? I know that, theirs an easy way, but I just can think about it. Please can anyone help me?

This video says to connect a monitor to the NVR. But then how are you clicking on the screen? Where do you connect a mouse and keyboard?
Plug the mouse into the USB port on the NVR. You don't need a keyboard for it.
Look at the video at 0:12. See that little USB input on the bottom left of the NVR ? That is where you hook up a mouse, I use a wireless mouse so i plug that dongle in there . You don`t need a keyboard because it uses an onscreen keyboard
This has audio input and output. How do I send out the audio signal? Does it record audio?
Hi Andy, it depends on which camera you have. Most of our indoor cameras record audio and video. Our outdoor cameras do not.
I added a microphone. My cameras are not audio.

lol why is it never as simple as it is in the videos. I have a POE NVR and I have 3 cameras. They are all connected into the back of the POE NVR in ports 1,2, and 3. Yet none of my cameras show up in the network. The tool cannot find them unless I connect them into the router. why is this?
After I shutdown the NVR by clicking the shutdown button on the screen I don’t know how to turn it back on. The NVR itself doesn’t have a power button

Have you unplugged the power cable in the back of the NVR for a couple of minutes then plugged it in ? Also make sure when you do plug it back in that your TV has not switched HDMI input, some TV go to a different input if there is no signal .
