Which commercial aircraft have been manufactured the most in the history of the industry? Taking into consideration the overall number of deliveries as of January 2024, let's take a look at the top eight.

The DC-3 had over 11,000 units produced
The DC-9 family was produced in total 2441 units: 976 DC-9s (first generation), 1191 MD-80s (second generation), 116 MD-90s, and 155 Boeing 717s (third generation).
Exactly 💯 the DC9 family isn't featured on this list at all but it should be because that family sold more planes than the 727s
Nobody cares
@@anthonymartincastillo3972 just like nobody cares about yo wack @$$ comment either 🤷🏽♂️🤷🏽♂️🤷🏽♂️💯💯💯
The 737 has been built since 1968, the Airbus A320 family since 1988, so it took Boing 20 years longer to built 400 planes more. Which means that the winner is not really Boing but Airbus....
737 an old design for modern engines. A disaster.
737 was ahead of its time and took 20 years for Airbus to copy it.
It's spelled Boeing my friend 😂😂😂
@@Jeff-ej4wpthe lies 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 The A320 family is a completely different family of planes from the 737s my friend so what exactly did Airbus copy from the 737s i definitely gotta hear dis here 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
@@ericjones7769 only when they stay in the air. When they fall out of the sky and kill people it sounds like a boing...
You missed the DC-9 which also has a longer version renamed the MD-80! Also the Douglas DC-3.
First and thank you for another amazing video i love your channel ❤❤
777 is also a major player in the "long-haul market."
the best the buzz
wonderful ,😍🤩💋💯✈✈✈
Why isn't the McDonnell Douglas DC9 family not included here that family of planes sold over 2400 aircrafts from like 1965-2006 💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯🤷🏽♂️🤷🏽♂️🤷🏽♂️
737 good until the Max series ca!
05:43 Entering Boss level
Começou bem com o Rei da Aviação regional, os Embraer da Helvetic.
If you do count the outdated Boeing 727, why don't you count much more widely produced Douglas DC-3?
There's far fewer of these well-known airliners than I would've thought, by a factor of 10 to 100. Some of them have been around for many decades. The relative ubiquity of flying now versus its early years, certainly doesn't compare in unit numbers to automobiles produced.
For some reason The embraer e-jet is somehow bigger than the 747 and A330
Indigo is the largest operator of a320
I'll take 727 for 10 Alex
Antonov an-2 over 18000 construction. Where are in the top?
Só louco voa nisto. 😊
Turkısh Airlines 🧿🧿🧿👍👍👍🧿🧿🧿.
The Airbus A320 will soon overtake the top position. Production is being raised to 75 units a month…and sadly the Boeing B737 has run into serious production trouble. I really hope Boeing will get it’s act together.
The A320 will take over the lead very soon! Airbus has orders for 7200 planes, Boeing only for 4800 in the books.
What happened to the ATR 42 and 72? They’re not jets, nor long haul but those aren’t the criteria you use in the title.
The 737 still leads, but if we're to add the backlogs of the 320 and 737 then the A320 would beat the 737 by about 3000 planes. And the A320 is being produced much faster than the 737 right now, so it's really just a matter of time before the 737 loses it's top spot
Did you know BOEING founded by German born guy was actually named BOING, he changed his name because the name BOING did not sound and looked very suitable for his company?
the airbus A320 has exceeded the 737 in 2015 we are in 2024 you need to make an update
What about A350 and 787?
Not in the top 8.
Still early days
Where is DC-3 ?
In Colombia!
If it's Boeing, I'm not flying
747 queen,not,it's king of the sky .
Yeah Boeing produced so many doors are flying off mid flight
this is only a problem with the 737 max
Chech put the a330s latest flaws and a320 then coke back here
@animegamingdude the door issue was due to Spirit AeroSystems.
Bro I love how she made most of the smaller aircraft bigger the the big aircraft
This list is flawed
Misinformative.
