Christianity has caused people to think that God is some sort of a old man sitting in the cloud… which is a horrific depiction of our creator. Heyo, this is my first time in your comments, and I'm glad I found your content. I will speak on behalf of the battlefield franchise, as I was there through BF2 onward. Those original games were amazing. Battlefield 3 was top notch, and the bad company games were amazing. The last good battlefield, in my mind, was battlefield 4. A lot of people liked battlefield one and five but I just couldn't get into them. Battlefield 4 was the last in the franchise to have an actual campaign, and maybe that's why. As for halo, yeah. It was sad to see what this franchise became. The original trilogy and side games that came around it were so good and full of passion. Now ... now they're just empty husks of the greatest gaming franchise ever made. Keep making the great content. Cheers.
good vid (i say even though i jus skipped to the halo part lol sry; though i did peep all the chapters throughout the timestamps like battlefield, assassin's creed, mass effect, etc) 2 questions though: 1) thoughts on the MechAssault franchise? To this day, it is an exclusive xbox franchise that was only available for the original xbox and Mechassault 2 was only the game of the series that was backwards compatible for only one future Xbox console (which was Xbox 360). The first game very much was important to the Xbox console/brand as it was solely responsible for carrying the greatness that was Xbox Live since it launched Day One alongside MechAssault 1, and remained the killer app of Xbox Live until Halo 2 arrived on the scene. Just wondering if you ever got to experience the MechAssault games 2) any chance you'll be doing a "Halo: How it SHOULD have been" vid where you discuss how you think 343 should have handled the Halo franchise after Bungie's departure? Maybe 343 should have just stuck to making DLC content for Halo 3 and Reach for the remainder of the Xbox 360 life cycle and for future xbox consoles, with no effort for more sequel games? Or, maybe 343 ought to have done more spinoff games like ODST, except with other halo universe characters; like, maybe a spinoff halo 3 game called "Halo 3: Arbiter" where its a double campaign in which players get to play through the Arbiter's perspective of the events of Halo 3's campaign, as well as another campaign of what adventure Arbiter goes on while Chief enters cryosleep and floats in space at the end of the game. idk, just spitballing ideas :p again, enjoyed the vid; hope ur having an awesome day/night :D
9:20 No, please do elaborate, cuz I think it looks so ironically adorable that it looks awesome. Like, is it JUST cuz you think it stupid to take a mature game and target it at kids? Kids can't have entertainment too? I mean if it's fun, which I read a lot of people think, it has a right to exist even if you don't like it.
To be fair everything has a right to exist even if I don’t like it, I am not the ruler of this world. It’s an opinion, but basically yes to what you said, it was a mature game targeted at kids to serve as a cash grab rather than a game made for the continuation of the series
Plug up holes? Reach made holes in the lore. All of Noble Team except Jorge shouldn't have been active or grown adults heck they shouldn't have even existed. Spartan 3s didn't become active until after the first game and all of them were teenagers.
Also agree on the Remedy stuff just finished Alan Wake remastered and i love what they're doing download Quantum Break so imma try that. I brought Control ages ago but when i heard it was connected I had to go back to the original game that kicked it off.
If you want to know where Ubisoft started to die it goes back to far cry 3 they where labeled "Skyrim with guns" by game informer and they've been trying there best to be compared to Bethesda ever sense or the modern equivalent of Bethesda something like fromsoft now

3 has great gameplay the story was just terrible but I never really played these for the story they were just another co-op game I could play with my siblings
Halo I'll always adore as you have the MCC CE-4 is PEAK. I started with 4 and fell in love with the world so much that i knew i had to play the previous games and despite them being older/slower movement it changed nothing gameplay was just as good, storylines even better and with my sister CO-OP was a godsend/major part of ny childhood Reach is my favourite halo game, one of my favourite games of all time. Halo 5 was the start of the decline just false advertising at it's finest those hunt the truth trailers were blatant lies. The ruined 4s storyline and wasted its entire cast. Its was bad. Infinite had so much potential and it somehow failed to live up to it 5 not having co-op i was sad infinite promising it was the only reason i upgraded to the series S as i thought I'd be able to play it with my sister and nothing was delivered i felt so cheated. Doesn't matter how good the campaign was if i couldn't play it in couch co-op. Halo has been butcherd by 343 and halo studios better be made by a team who actually understands halo but the rumours are already pointing to the franchise going 3rd party truly the death of Xbox.
Assassin's Creed is interesting as i started with III love that game, i went back and played the older games Revaltions being a stahd out waited to unity was fixed and i love that game. I'm an outlier as i don't like Black Flag couldn't get passed the naval combat. Origins i adore the world design is just so good it's one of the few games i can just travel without fast traveling i love Bayek and Aya and the overall story beginning of the hidden ones i thought added soem great lore. Odyssey was ok and Valhalla was utterly terrible. Mirage having the same animations, poor combat system i couldn't get behind. AC Shadows I'm very excited for I'm loving the look of it and will most likely buy it.
I think you are misinterpreting what I meant by that. I’m saying even with nostalgia glasses on (meaning our love for the original titles), playing the new games is not an enjoyable experience. That’s just too long to put on the title. It was not a commentary on whether or not the originals aged well. “Extremely clickbait title” seems a bit much but I’m sorry if you felt misled.
Sorry but no fucking way does Mass Effect suck. Yes, it's in a lot of ways the worst ME from the modern gaming perspective, and the side missions and mako stuff are fucking terrible, but the setting? Story? Characters? Overall atmosphere? Yeah, still unmatched.
I personally felt it fell short compared to the others, couple that with the overall game experience of a sucky game. This is of course my opinion, not trying to shit on you, im glad you enjoyed it!
Atleast not a "omg 343 bad" Halo 4 is one of the best halo game there is and halo infinite is somewhat decent Meanwhile halo ce is terrible in so many ways
@engiturtle65 Halo CE is not terrible, you could certainly argue against the checkpoints and balance to some degree, but it’s not terrible in any way. I say this not as some oldhead who started with CE, but as someone whose second Halo game was Halo 4. I think Halo 4 tries too hard to be COD, the sound design is awful for the guns, the enemy designs are completely wrong compared to the rest of the series, and the ending(knowing how the story continued) was just disappointing. Infinite launched with almost none of the features of Halo 5, which itself launched with almost none of the features of 4. You lost almost all customization except through spending real money. Also, yes, it’s a F2P game, they have to make money, but 343 chose to make it that way and critiquing the consequences of that decision is completely warranted. They refuse to actually develop new things for the game, and basically just lean on the community for anything they add these days. One of the few things I enjoyed of Infinite was the campaign, and even that was abandoned in favor of live service store slop. Look, I’m not here to say everything 343/Halo Studios creates is awful, because that’s way too sweeping of a statement and patently false. I will say though that the Bungie games generally just feel more cohesive and fun to play, while 343’s games suffer from building another floor onto a completed house. There was nothing left to add to Halo, but Microsoft made them build on anyways.
@@katherinebot im so tired of these types of arguments, no halo 4 was not "more like cod" (as someone who played cod) and is the best of the games 343 made, im also tired of people acting like bungie games is god's gift to man while 343 is the devil, and this comes from someone who enjoys all the games in the mcc besides halo ce
@ Halo 4 WAS like COD though, it’s the game that tried to introduce loadouts and made sprinting just an innate part of the movement. I’m not saying it abandoned everything that made Halo Halo, but it’s hard to say that Halo 4 wasn’t at least attempting to appeal to a mode “modern” audience by introducing things found in other shooters of the time. I never once said that Bungie was untouchable and 343 was the devil, I’m just saying that Bungie generally made more polished, more enjoyable, and more cohesive games than 343 has. As I also mentioned in my original comment, I think this is just because they had a really bad base to build off of in the form of a completed story. If 343 had been told to build a new spinoff story or something, I’m sure they could’ve made better games(at least on the campaign side of things). Also, I think it’s hard to deny that the design direction, regardless of mechanics, that 343 took 4 and 5 in alienated a LOT of older Halo fans and I’m sure that didn’t help them either.
Idk. For me personally, indie games are boring. As much praise as fps games like Insurgency Sandstorm and Splitgate get, Ill always prefer playing Halo Infinite, COD and Battlefield 2042
@Ssenys that's just wrong golden eye came out before halo and sole well smash and soo many other 4player coop games came out no reason halo was so good at its time.and still is good now is literally cause it revolutionized consoles FPS every console FPS uses features halo did first aim assist and bullet magnetism being the 2 big ones not to mention the areas you would fight in halo 1 was massive compared to any shooter before it with the exception of some pc fps of that era

Call of Duty is still bringing is cash but the games are so different in tone, theme, and aesthetic its difficult to play them as old CoD fan....(Nikkki Minaj skins in a CoD game...are you kidding me?)
Gears of War.....totally different now
Assassins Creed.....again....not even close to the original games.
It's all about the $$$$$$
ughhhh ac games are full of grind
Fallout is a big one and could have been on this list
Part 2?
@@grafnosferacula7473 Fallout new Vegas is one of the best rpg You can go from full Pacifist to full monster. Interesting factions quests perks and over 120 weapons.
Cheers.
First video I've seen by you and idk just have to say you have such a nice voice 😂
good vid (i say even though i jus skipped to the halo part lol sry; though i did peep all the chapters throughout the timestamps like battlefield, assassin's creed, mass effect, etc)
2 questions though: 1) thoughts on the MechAssault franchise? To this day, it is an exclusive xbox franchise that was only available for the original xbox and Mechassault 2 was only the game of the series that was backwards compatible for only one future Xbox console (which was Xbox 360). The first game very much was important to the Xbox console/brand as it was solely responsible for carrying the greatness that was Xbox Live since it launched Day One alongside MechAssault 1, and remained the killer app of Xbox Live until Halo 2 arrived on the scene. Just wondering if you ever got to experience the MechAssault games
2) any chance you'll be doing a "Halo: How it SHOULD have been" vid where you discuss how you think 343 should have handled the Halo franchise after Bungie's departure? Maybe 343 should have just stuck to making DLC content for Halo 3 and Reach for the remainder of the Xbox 360 life cycle and for future xbox consoles, with no effort for more sequel games? Or, maybe 343 ought to have done more spinoff games like ODST, except with other halo universe characters; like, maybe a spinoff halo 3 game called "Halo 3: Arbiter" where its a double campaign in which players get to play through the Arbiter's perspective of the events of Halo 3's campaign, as well as another campaign of what adventure Arbiter goes on while Chief enters cryosleep and floats in space at the end of the game. idk, just spitballing ideas :p
again, enjoyed the vid; hope ur having an awesome day/night :D
woah, i love halo infinite tbh
Same.
Not mad about that at all, glad at least some of us enjoyed it! I unfortunately didn’t find it a good game
Tuah
I CAN’T BELIEVE YOU’VE DONE THIS
Hopefully Battlefield is able to make a comeback, it will always be better than COD.
Great video
Like sacrifice provided...
Halo is still great to play. Prob the best playing FPS out there. Def not dead.
Just stumbled across your channel and you're pretty freaking funny.
Where's Call of Duty?
Added in part 2?
Halo released on consoles first
Yes, yes they did
I think you got what she was saying wrong she was talking about the first person shooter genre
If you want to know where Ubisoft started to die it goes back to far cry 3 they where labeled "Skyrim with guns" by game informer and they've been trying there best to be compared to Bethesda ever sense or the modern equivalent of Bethesda something like fromsoft now
Interesting. Skyrim with guns huh? Don’t remember that but that’s funny. Damn
@GooCrewGaming it might not have been game informer probably ign but ya it's stuck with me for a long time and I don't need to mention this but it's extra funny when fallout 3 and new Vegas where right there
Borderlands soon to join the list the way its going.
Damn, maybe. Let’s see how 4 does!
3 has great gameplay the story was just terrible but I never really played these for the story they were just another co-op game I could play with my siblings
Ubisoft's Assasins's Greed
23:07 yeah... he didn't say that
Huh, I think you’re right. Trying to figure out who did is a rabbit hole. My b. Still a great quote non the less
@GooCrewGaming true, true. Indeed it is
Assassin's Creed is interesting as i started with III love that game, i went back and played the older games Revaltions being a stahd out waited to unity was fixed and i love that game.
Extremely clickbait title. You say "can't save these," I expect critiques on the originals in each series, not their crap late sequels.
@GooCrewGaming Maybe should have explained that at the start of the video.
Facts, that's exactly why no one liked her trash reply.

"No, the corporations aren't the problem, it's women!"
Degen.
How dare you put Mass Effect on this list, andromeda was ok, but its didn’t fall. Assassins creed yes, but Mass Effect, no
Halos never coming back. They may not go by 343... but its still the same idiots running the ship
Halo never left
Its just unpopular
No, it died with reach. There hasn't been a good Halo since
@@boromir0062 yeah, no. Halo is well and alive with a stable playerbase cope tho
You're smoking crack infinite campaign was fun
Sorry but no fucking way does Mass Effect suck. Yes, it's in a lot of ways the worst ME from the modern gaming perspective, and the side missions and mako stuff are fucking terrible, but the setting? Story? Characters? Overall atmosphere? Yeah, still unmatched.
I personally felt it fell short compared to the others, couple that with the overall game experience of a sucky game. This is of course my opinion, not trying to shit on you, im glad you enjoyed it!
Thumbs down, this video was dumb af, but congrats on the view.
Thumbs up, thank you for the engagement!
Atleast not a "omg 343 bad"
Halo 4 is one of the best halo game there is and halo infinite is somewhat decent
Meanwhile halo ce is terrible in so many ways
@engiturtle65 Finally someone agrees Halo 4 is a decent game
@@ParaplegicKeanuReeves yeah, alot of the "criticism" people use for halo 4 being a "bad game" is just not valid imo
Ngl gaming has lost its soul for the most part, the best experiences are all indie nowadays. Anything aaa is just not worth your time
Idk. For me personally, indie games are boring. As much praise as fps games like Insurgency Sandstorm and Splitgate get, Ill always prefer playing Halo Infinite, COD and Battlefield 2042
You don't know what you're talking about
I lovd you
I feel indifferent towards you
Halo was never that good, it was just one of the first games that was mainstream and you could play with friends
Whilst that’s subjective there’s plenty of evidence I could pull up to prove that, that’s completely wrong.
Can't say I agree with this
@@Ssenys just flat out wrong.
