I loved the old karaoke streams but Maraoke... it just feels kind of meh to me...
The lyrics are often weird and quite bad at matching the original pattern of the song, making it awkward for people to sing along (personal opinion, but it shows in the videos that lots of people had trouble keeping up with them or confusing themselves)
And the fact that they still use the original backing track makes all of this entirely pointless, because the melody and original instrument audio is just as much copyrighted as the lyrics are.
I wished they would just go back to proper karaoke and just remove the vod or split the audio into a channel that doesn't get uploaded to twitch after stream.
