You've gotta give it the full treatment, now that you finally did it. His rockin' solo after the main bits is a must-learn IMHO. Of course the band I'm in plays it in a different key. Plus, we're so crazy we sometimes glue Hawaii Five-O as a second interlude then finish by returning to some improvisation on Tequila until finalizing on the head. Keeps the folks on the floor dancing a good bit more!
Jamie amazing work but my favorite song ever is Midnight City - M83 amazing solo at the end, I literally bought an alto sax for that song I'd be really happy to hear how you play it 😍

Your instructional videos are really great. Love that your backing tracks have a visual allowing you to keep in time. A while ago you recommended an app Anytune which has been a great help. Using tools like the loop really helps practicing a specific phrase etc.. Do you or anyone out there know how to directly copy the music from your posts to this app. Ive been recording using voice memos/dragging to home page /then dragging to Anytune - which seams very laborious!?

Why is it not in the original key??
I make that closest to the original key. It’s “in the cracks” though.
You might be used to playing it in another key, but have you played the original recently then checked the key?
