Good job pumping TMNT #1, we need it!

🤣 We just need everyone to stop selling them all the time! There are only 3,000 copies and it seems like the other 2,998 trade hands ALL the time anymore.

I remember around 1987 in CA, a kid in the neighborhood i was friends with who also collected comics was showing me his TMNT books. He had a #1 2nd print and 5-11 1st print. I had never heard of TMNT before and thought they were the coolest thing. I got the 5-11 from him which i kept since then until selling in early 2022. He wouldnt give up that #1 2nd print though.

That’s what’s crazy right now! These things rarely used to change hands. I don’t hardly remember the last sizable auction that DIDN’T have a copy!

My mom gave me $100 dollars as a graduation present in 1984. The tmnt hype was so high at that time that I must have called around 30+ LCS and luckily found one that carried tmnt 1 1st print for exactly 100. No Internet back then.

That’s awesome! What a graduation gift to get for yourself!

Great round up about the turtles. I had not seen some of those photos. Thank you for sharing. How does one private DM you?

My fav cartoon growing up… TMNT! Eating pizza and sewer surfing looked fun. And the 4 player arcade game is still one of the best! I didn’t even know they had comic books as a kid? Also don’t cheapen this video by talking about money 😂

I don’t remember when I really became aware of the Mirage cartoon. I know it was a fascination of mine for years, because Overstreet didn’t used to put values for #1, which was so weird to me.
