I've always thought it was essential to go with aftermarket wood for the decks but the way you've done it gives me confidence that it's possible to work with the plastic at hand. Great video, love the choice of music and your commentary.
I agree I’ve always gone with wood and this has shown me not to bother.
This is such an underrated channel, great build. You should try the Yamato next.
Great swastikas on ebay for the 1/200 scale very easy to apply and thin enough for deck planking to show through. Also 1/350 scale.
Outstanding. Looking forward to the next parts.
Like how you painted the deck
Very impressive - I love your wooden deck effect.
Excellent work as always
Your doing a fantastic job!! I can only dream to mine as fine as yours!!!
Beautiful work and wonderfully presented! This was a joy to watch!
I just happen to come across your Tirpitz video, but part two first!
I am currently making the Tirpitz by Tamiya.
I saw the deck in video two and thought, I must see how you put down the wooden deck as I have purchased an aftermarket one too, I was hoping to see how you masked etc.
How wrong was I lol, a magnificent paint job, F**king amazing, the deck looks just like the real thing, very impressed thank you for sharing. I will re-watch your videos as my build continues.
A masterful build, Thank You for sharing this. I subscribed so I can follow your work and maybe ask a few questions, but for now I just want to take it all in.
Excellent work on the decks
I don`t believe in sticking wooden decks down on plastic models!
If you take time with paint a much more realistic finish is achieved.
Very impressive
Thanks for making these video's, I love your work! I was wondering what filler you use at 5:08, and does that come fluid like that? Thanks in advance! Cheers Pieter
I completely agree with underrated channel. Your models and skill are amazing. What are you using for lighting and camera?
Superb build and the final result is excellent. I have the trumpeter Prinz Eugen and Tirpitz to make. One question which will help me with that, what was the paint colour you used for the bridge deck at 19 mins in?
I have the Kagero 3d books for Tirpitz and Prinz Eugen and they show black and brown, contradicting itself a bit. I think you have it right based on looking at other photos. Looks great with the paint and the wash anyway. Superb build and you should be pleased with your work
Hi, may I ask you what colour did you use (if you remember) at 19.25 minute?? Thanks
trumpeters photo etch is too thin, too easily damaged.
タミヤの『ビスマルク』にも応用できそうです。
Beautiful. The PE comes with the kit or you bought them after market.
This is a great build, what glue do you use for the photoetch parts.
I use cheap superglue.
I've subscribed the Channel. Beautiful works! Have you used any addon kit with the trumpeter bismarck?
Yes, from Eduard. But i didn’t use all extra parts. Only the most important. A lot is scratch build.
@@Drydockinscale wow scratch build! Congrats! May I suggest to add in the description the link of the products you use? I think it would be nice and help the others that wants to do the same model
What color did you paint the deck and extra planks ? and your favorite AK wash color ? Thank you very lovely job .
Base is Tamiya XF-78, extra Vallejo model color deck tan & iraqi sand. Wash is AK 301 Dark wash for wood deck.
Hi! Amazing work, I viewed all 4 videos including the installation of the lights, a superb work!!!
I just purchase the same kit, my first ship 😊
Which wooden 3 colors did you used to paint the deck? And wich eas the wash?
I just saw the answer in another comment!
witch colours did you use for the deck?
Greetings and thank you for the excellent tutorial. I am about to embark on this project and was hoping you could tell me the paint colours you used to obtain the planking colours on the deck.
Base color is Tamiya xf-78. O don’t remember the rest. I was mixing Vallejo deck tan, Iraqi sand, and probably orche Brown. I don’t remember the proportions
@@Drydockinscale many thanks for the response
Did you purchase any addition photo etch or did you use just what came in the box.
I used Eduard’s kit
Can i please ask which primer you used for this model.
Sure, it’s One shot primer from Ammo.
@@Drydockinscale Again, many thanks for the information.
What the tool u use to put down the glue??
It’s regular hobby knife without blade bit with thin copper wire.
@@Drydockinscale Thx i just watched now the Zara and now im starting watching the bismark… ure superb im starting now to do modeling... my dream is to have the 1/350 Roma... many times I get scared and tell myself that I won't be able to do it, but I want to do it anyway... do you have any good advice for those who are starting now (my intention and mostly tank, but Roma is something I would like to do as I am so attached to it because I am Italian)
What brand of clear varnish?
Mr. Hobby
@@Drydockinscale could you please tell me which one you use exactly...thank you for time answering questions.

Doesn't look right without the swastikas. Just sayin'
