Very cool kit ! My GUSTAV kit came with parts in many individual boxes as well. The care taken with molding is demonstrated by how each group is compartmentalized. Thanks for sharing !
I'm building the same kit and I would highly recommend this book "The Battleship Bismarck Anatomy of The Ship" by Stefan Draminski......I've found it invaluable especially if your going to super detail it with some aftermarket kits......It has hundreds of drawings and 3D colour illustrations of the whole ship from top to bottom and it's not even that expensive for the amount of content that's in the book
Awesome man! Thanks for the info!! I’m sure that would be much better than using google on my phone lol...it’s my grail kit so yes there will be all the goodies....thanks again
@@mrzzgo0ro0na No problem......you won't regret it......I'm upgrading my kit with the Pontos Advanced set which is great but the instructions are pretty vague and confusing in places so having the book to refer to has been a real life saver for me at times......I would also recommend the Veteran Models resin upgrades you can get for her if your going all out bells and whistles
"Going to do the BALTIC PAINT SCEAM: That will be a challenge" -you better believe it! Trying to run those baltic stripes up the supertructure and get them STRAIGHT is what sank both my Bismarck models! Are you going to attempt the dreaded stripes?? If so, please share how you do them!
Rob, that's fucking huge indeed bro!! That'll be a massive project and i onow you'll gonna keep us posted once you start building it. So cool your boy tags alongside with his dad and he's smarter than you, because he likes metal barrels😁 Nice video buddy👍
@@mrzzgo0ro0na I was, it looks great but a little banter is good considering what a year we have all had. I don’t have the space for 1/200 scale, 1/350 is what I’m used to doing but i am so tempted to go larger! I May have to talk my wife into selling all her crafting supplies to make space but I highly doubt that will end well lol
One thing that’s nice about ships is that they aren’t wide so a simple shelf mounted to the wall should sufffice, unlike large aircraft which take up a ton of space no matter which way you want to display them lol
One of the problems with this kit is the bow isn’t shaped right under the waterline. The real Bismarck is more bulbous on the bottom. It needs to be completely reshaped to be correct.
I’ve heard that...Nigel’s modelling bench was talking about it...I don’t have the skills to do that kind of repair so I’ll leave it as is...thanks for the heads up
Great🔝🔝🔝Trumpeter know how to make Scale Modell Dreams come true...Eveytime when i see the box of a modell ship and i have a look inside i feel like a 7 years old before a christmas tree😀 NiCE REVIEW,NICE MODELL.Wishing you great hour of joy with it,while building it ⚓😎✌
You tube and Facebook are quite right to ban the swastika, after all who hasn't,when having applied a swastika decal, had the immediate urge to go and invade Poland. But,what a magnificent kit,I recently built Academy's 1/350 Bismarck and I thought THAT was big!.
Nice , I want to build the Hood in 200 scale. But where to put the finished model? Oh wait the kitchen table works for me , wife will have to live with it. I hope?
I have 1 question i want to start a Bismark Trumpeter model kit, but i suck whit the superglue, the point is, the trumpeter model kits, have to use superglue or are like bandai plastic model kits?
Regular model glue is all that’s required…I wouldn’t use superglue to hold such large pieces together…too brittle and can’t withstand any kind of shock….use tamiya with cap for the big areas…flow some extra thin from the outside and apply pressure…try to get some of the molten plastic to come out of the joint and now it’s self filling
So you need the whole manual or just specific parts? If you join my Facebook group called model makers union I can get you the pages you need...also if you go to scalemates they have pretty much every manual you could ever imagine

Yes I very much enjoy a well packaged kit as well
I swear trumpeter makes the best ship models
Yes they do
I am the most impressed by the hull being 1 part.
It’s technaly 2 because you need to put a part on it
That's freaking sweet bro!!!! I love how they put all the parts in there own boxes! That's going to be bad ass when you get it finished!
Its large kit and impressive, I have HMS Nelson 1/200 to build some time in the future. Thank you for sharing and happy moderling.
I love their models. Nicely detailed.
Wow, that is really a big model! The details are pretty good.
Very lol
Just seeing the 4 large model kits you have tells me one thing...................YOUR FILTHY RICH!!!!!............LOL!
I wish lol...I’m fortunate to have a shop that lets me do payment plans lol

I have the Bismarck,Nimitz, and the Arizona love the kits
I've built Trumpeter's 1/700 Bismarck. I mostly stick to 1/700 for cost and space reasons, but I do have Massachusetts and Ranger in 1/350.
Ya this is my grail build...only have room for one lol
8:23 is a shell of searchlight when no use to prevent sea water problems
It is a crazy big kit 😎 Perfect to do an radio controlled U - boot
I wouldn’t be that brave to plunk it in the water lol...
Good luck looks awesome 👍🏻👍🏻
Shit, it's bloody well massive.
You definitely have to do a video build of this beast...
It’s definitely on the list of things to do!
This thing is going to be awesome I will be following it to the end.

That looks to be a mammoth project , probably take at least several months to complete that beast

The 1/200 USS Arizona showed up on my door step yesterday super pumped to start on it.

WoW what a beast. It is a shame that it comes without wooden decks.
Yes it is but I did also get the trumpeter/Pontos upgrade set…there’s a quick review of it on the channel
@@mrzzgo0ro0na i check it out. Thnx ☺️
when are you going to start to build the Bismarck? looking forward to it.

Now with this massive scale the hobby evolves from modeling to a private ship yard in the basement.
Yes it does lol...but it’s damn kool lol
hey man, you still making videos? really looking forward to your build
Yes it’s been very busy around my house and I have plenty of things to review…which build are you taking about?
"What's in the box!?" The model, probably.
Lol, he really shouldn’t have put the ? at the end. It’s almost like he’s asking us the viewers to to tell him what’s inside 🤔
Well the video has 87k views so it seems that people are interested to see “what’s in the box” lol…

I payed about 339 USD for mine
Still not a bad price
Out of curiosity what does one of those cost, I'd like to do a Missouri 1/200
This one runs between 4-450 CAD
Would it be good to make an Rc model out of it?
