@@markhattendorf9031 It was more of an inconvenience I install av at bars and hotels and usually have 5-10 in inventory. My contracts states that the customer is responsible for damages caused by guests. I had a talk with the mom in the hallway when I called their table up and basically said I'm not worried about it because you're friends the bride and groom will be paying for it but you might want to chip in since everyone in the room saw what happened. Long story short got e transfered 900$ a few weeks later.
Nice reception but Rick, if i looked at ones from you 4 years ago, it looks the same. How about incorporating moving facades: backgrounds that change around the dancefloor like they do in theaters like every hour during the dancing? I can see this kind of reception from a newb, its been played out a 1,000 times. I'm a fan of amusement parks like Disneyland and Disney World, and though some rides aren't changed much they do offer new attractions. Most dj set ups look like something from 2005, no matter what kind of new speakers people get. I hope this comment doesn't piss you off but in the eyes of a bride or groom there's nothing really out of the ordinary here that most of the vloggers put up on UA-cam.
Rick you're a maverick dj that has sponsors paying you for shit, I think instead of increasing your audio gear that nobody outside of djing knows or cares about, maybe concentrate on giving a better show. Dj Barr tries with sparkulars and co2 canons but those are items you are mandatory have to ask the venues to use. Try to come up something that separates you from say the generic djs with booths and Evolve 50's and movers who play "Get Low" at every event. I mean, I think when you see a gig like that, you've seen them all. Peace.
yes, but you'd have to buy my lecture on how dj's should change up their looks. Its not about crates or music, that's a personal opinion. However also an opinion that can be debated. But hopefully I will be asked to speak at DJ Expo 2022 whereas I can talk about changing up your looks--presentation so that everyone "won't look the same" I attended 2 weddings this year as a guest and was not impressed at the similarities each dj company had.
@@dantonliam i dont do gig logs, there's no reason to when you have only 30 subscribers, hells bells, do you know how many more that i would need to start getting monetized? I see you had a couple of dance floor distractors in the crowd standing there not doing anything. I hate that, "If Your Not Going To Dance Get Off The Dance Floor"!
I think you always want to setup in front of dance floor you should of called bride or groom and that should have been worked out in the walk through or contract way before the wedding,
The art is keeping them on the dance floor lol and with bose fill that room and there no good.. Still high end house speakers.. Keep practicing you might get there one day...

I got one better....teenager lifted one of my almost $300 ape can lights. Only caught them because the mom of the girl saw me looking frantically for the last one. Pure luck i got it back......fml
@@markhattendorf9031 One even better, had a 65" tv mounted on the front of my booth. During dinner I was across the room by the buffet announcing tables. A 8ish year old kid walked passed the booth with his mom and started punching the tv screen and actually broke it.
@@christiansmith8529 yeah that sucks big time. There goes the money made on that event......did you cry a little on the inside?
@@markhattendorf9031 It was more of an inconvenience I install av at bars and hotels and usually have 5-10 in inventory. My contracts states that the customer is responsible for damages caused by guests. I had a talk with the mom in the hallway when I called their table up and basically said I'm not worried about it because you're friends the bride and groom will be paying for it but you might want to chip in since everyone in the room saw what happened. Long story short got e transfered 900$ a few weeks later.
I am confused!? I thought you said these suck? Wow......
Certain ones do and even in that video I mentioned ones that are good. But still for the price idk
@@DJRickWeb I can't trust this... these have no balance... all bass and mids....
Over priced.... review was not truthful imo...
It wasn't a review
In the thumbnail it is impressive, behind it is "idk"
Honest what is good rick?
Peace.
@@oldschooldjernie this is great. Do you have content to share?
yes, but you'd have to buy my lecture on how dj's should change up their looks.
@@oldschooldjernie where can I see your gig logs? …….
@@dantonliam i dont do gig logs, there's no reason to when you have only 30 subscribers, hells bells, do you know how many more that i would need to start getting monetized? If I had at least 3,000, sure i would do well edited and shot videos---but for 30, its a waste of time. Its like a party i dj'd once where only 10 guests showed up. LOL
Forget the L1 pros. The only good system in bose house at the moment for professional work is the F1 system. I only buy another Bose system when the substitute of the F1 system cames out, maybe the F2 system.
if there's ever gonna be an F, is gonna be an F1 Pro not F2 just yet
Ate your words about line array speakers. Love it. Humble pie is delicious.
Kid playing with par light 😂
No bun booth bro?
Not for this one
the bose 16s are two 8s stuck together and the 32s are four 8s stuck together...literally
Great video love the Bose. The movers were great as well. Dance floor looked a little dark.
That is what you want
Nice vlog bro
The music was too urban, I felt like this was more a pop crowd.
Them wanted trap (wedding party and bride/groom) but agree most the crowd was pop
Damn! I thought us DJ's here in Houston were the only ones always shoved 50 yards off in a corner! :(
I hope that pain in your abdomen is nothing serious! Stay healthy. Great content as always!
Ended up being a pulled stomach muscle. After a month of tests... lol
Grate Juggling Bro!
I see you had a couple of dance floor distractors in the crowd standing there not doing anything. I hate that, "If Your Not Going To Dance Get Off The Dance Floor"!
I think you always want to setup in front of dance floor you should of called bride or groom and that should have been worked out in the walk through or contract way before the wedding,
That food should have been off to the side against the wall so you can set up there, food is temporary probably empty space towards the night
Easier said then done.
Where tf was my invite?
No highs, no lows, must be Bose 😉
Haha
Your full of crap
And what ? No Lows change your hearing aid batteries
Let's go
The art is keeping them on the dance floor lol and with bose fill that room and there no good.. Still high end house speakers.. Keep practicing you might get there one day...
Incredible a long time ago you made a video where you said that that type of system was disgusting ... a liar falls sooner than a lawyer
Did I say that or is that what you remember. I specifically called out certain models and also mentioned one at the time that was solid but extremely expensive.
Hey Rick glad it was nothing serious :)
Sounds flat no good to me, better bass is mackie thump
Buy Other Sound Equipment
No. Go with K-array speakers
Or fbt cs-1000
I have used the KR402 $24 K-array system before. 99.9999999999% of mobile DJ's would never consider them due to their cost and complexity.
Why boas
They sent me them
@@DJRickWeb how
I am dj for 10 month is now and then pioneer sent me a srt and I love
They contacted me and sent me them so I would try them and make content about them
@@DJRickWeb you got for free
Upper right abdomen could be gallbladder stones. Not fun at all. I am not a doctor, just another DJ who had his gallbladder removed. Good luck figuring it out.
I disagree that the Maui is the best speaker for Ceremony I just picked up the Bose battery I can put it on the stand and I can put a shelf on the stand can't do that with the Maui
You don't need either with the Maui though. But then again were not comparing apples to apples. The main cost 2x as much and has twice the output if not more.
