Yes!!! Do more!!! Just to show everyone how it’s really done!! We have similar sets!! Waste no time!! Waste to talent!! Enjoyed this vid bro ima get home and practice tonight!!! Just to get a mix in!!
I am a dj… I stumbled on this video & I have to say your set was flawless! Great open format set, scratching AND transitions. Solid mix. The indicator - when the wedding is over and you have ties off and shirts open, you know you’ve done well. Bravo.
Love it! Dude! You can fuckin' mix!!! Makes me want to practice! Been at this for over 25 years and was actually thinking of hanging up the headphones. This video (and most of your videos) gave me excitement of getting back out there. More gig logs would be awesome!
This was sick. I'm not a DJ, I'm a musician but my dad is a dj and recently getting into it. You did an amazing job, dressed well and very professional
I agree! You put so much attention, care and effort into every detail from the em-ing (which I don’t do at weddings I just play the tunes), to your equipment set up with the turntables and high end booth finish (compared to my stock standard wedding set ups with black carpeted dj booth). A class for effort. As a wedding dj if I was at this wedding I would’ve come up to u at the end (and not during your set) and big upped you for all the stuff I mentioned above
Dude this is absolutley epic! Your mixes are tight and your personality shows. I just got into wedding djing and this is goals. Going to keep following for sure!
Nick, thanks for sharing all your great content. As a long time wedding and banquet performer, first as a drummer for a band and then as a DJ, I am getting back into DJing for parties and banquets. Getting a feel for what other pros like yourself do really help me formulate a plan and system to get back into this market. Really appreciate you.
What a rewarding job you have Nick. Imagine all the couples who will remember you forever. I bet they each have moments they cherish when you dropped that one song that's tied into the memory
DUDE!!!! That was nothing short of AMAZING! My wife and I watch your videos all the time and I had a feeling you were a good DJ but I didn't know it was gonna be the best I have seen. I have been djing since 2007 and have been a huge fan of djing way before that and I have to say that is some of the best djing I have ever seen. Keep the gig logs coming, go live, or do them on Twitch something.
Right on, Nick. That's a LOT of talent and craft expertise happening all at once. I hope people also appreciate how the size of the dance floor and your staging added to the energy you were creating. When the B&G get into the mix and you've got full participation from the wedding party, (including double fisting their bottles @ 16:11) the magic ensues. Bravo, my friend. Keep raising the bar for both the entertainment itself and the post production on social. You've unleashed a new breed of special event content and it's great to see people recognizing your efforts. Continued success! -m
Kick ass job dude!!! As an aspiring DJ myself, this was very eye opening because a few of my friends have asked me to play their weddings in the future. Thank you Nick!!!

This was an amazing video man. So entertainment and the mixing and flow of the night was on point. This makes me want to go practice a set right now!!!
I'm a bedroom DJ who mostly just messes around for fun with some traktor controllers. I find top 40 can be the hardest to mix smoothly, for a few reasons. You absolutely killed it. Even the really short transitions where you're basically just dropping it on the 1 with a little echo on the track going out or whatever, you make sound really really smooth. You killed it man, nice!
Freakin loved it man! You actually pulled out a combo I have I use on occasion there at the beginning! I got a very 2010-2015 vibe wedding this weekend and I’m definitely using some of this for inspiration. As usual a GOAT and an inspiration to us newer guys to the wedding scene!
I love the information. I am breaking into the wedding dj scene and really need this guidance. I was blown away by your song choices and transitions. I am going to try and replicate these. I dj'ed back in the 80's and using music to speak to the crowd was my favorite thing to do. love your content
Thank you for the tips, information and sneak peek into the life/work of a DJ. This was another great video and I must say, the mixes at the reception were incredible🔥🔥🔥 I'm in what can be considered the preliminary stages of my journey behind the wheels. I found your channel yesterday and started following. Thanks for all that you do here🙏🏾
I appreciate this video. Very entertaining and enjoyed the commentary. I imagine it is hard to make a gig log and not make it a cookie cutter one. Definitely go your path with these and make however Nick Spinelli would do it, lol
This was a great Gig Log, I loved how you showed how you made the evening flow. I also like that you showed your transitions between songs as opposed to djs that just film different parts of the nights with a different song playing. Keep'em coming Nick.
I watch alot of DJ video's, always looking to improve. When I started out in this venture, I was intimidated by some of the DJ's around in my Cleveland OH. area. I'm talking about the bigger companies, I would notice what equipment they used. After watching so many video's I realize my weak area is Mixing and want to focus on that. I loved this latest video and enjoyed the over the shoulder shots of you mixing. Excellent...take a look at Black and Yellow Wire Path tape.....but careful it might stick to certain floors, but I don't usually have an issue with it when only down a couple hours. What an incredible job 👍🏻. I was DJ at a wedding yesterday in Germany and his loads of fun. Thanks for inspiring me to become better. Funny thing that you guys in the US think it is long to play music for 3 hours since in Germany we usually party between 9/10 pm and 2/3 or 4 am 😅 at weddings.
There a too many vids of medium good DJs on UA-cam, that think they are special. You have the courage to show your transitions, you are able to read the crowd, you have a good timing, your mixing is good, and you entertained them.
