Is it possible to do the rear corners without having to take the side panels off? Or does all the capping have to come off to get to those ones?

Depends which area you’re talking about. If you mean:
1 - YRM339 - then yes, side panels will need to be removed - yrmit.co.uk/product/top-rear-corner-capping-lr-series/
