I'm impressed how well the chemical water spot removers worked on glass, I'd prefer to remove chemically than mechanically whenever possible.

Recently bought a used car from a friend that had tons of water spots on the glass. He told me it's because his lawn sprinkler regularly gets the car wet and that's been the situation for years. I tried removers with no luck, even with a DA. Then used Menzerna 400 with a medium pad... All gone in no time

Any water spot removal test without Sud Factory’s Spotless X2 is incomplete! It’s the best stand-alone one I’ve used. For the worst, hardest etched ones, all that worked was a rayon pad with Drx Beasley’s GL Glass Compound. That will cut any waterspot down! Thanks for the informative comparison!

I did window cleaning for a little bit and you can use steel wool on windows but you'll want to use Grade #0000 and you won't have to worry about scratching it. I've used it on exterior windows and glass showers. We also use just plain ol dawn dish soap and it'll take off all kinds of grime. The downside like you said in the video is you have to be careful around the rest of the car when using steel wool.

Brilliant Glaze for off-gassing on the inside of the windshield: interesting. I've been using a thicker soap & water mixture with a sponge or Invisible Glass aerosol and squeegeeing off bottom up. In either case they don't run everywhere like the rinseless I use on the exterior.
Anyway, I wonder which of these is best for paint to revive ceramic coatings?

I ended up using the #0000 steel wool with a vinegar and water solution and it did work but it leaves what looks like thin spider web. Throughout normal driving you can’t see it. But at the right angles from the outside of the car you can see it clearly.

Steel wool - always use wax like that brilliant glaze with it for little lubricant if you would.. and tape off the edges - but it does pull off the super deep stuff. But the Carpro Spotless works pretty good for everything I found.

Hi, Gyeon waterspot is still very weak. If you have really baked in water spots these are almost useless. I can recomend you to get hands on Labocosmetica ENERGO, its is not just better its another game… nothing can get close to it even a bit. You can even dilute it for some lighter use. This thing can remove years old waterspots on glass and even paint safe. I use it on every single car which come to my studio. For example can get off “gunk” around emblems etc. You will be amazed, you are welcome. 😂🙏🏼

Can I use Brillant Glaze on matte trim? I have a lot of water spots on my Tesla matte trim around the windows.

Enjoyed your videos on cleaning cybertruck stainless steel. Ran across this video and wonder if your soft scrub barkeeper would do same on glass as might be implied by this video: ua-cam.com/video/CbYMJD4z1pY/v-deo.html
Also do you have opinion or have tried 3M stainless steel hood degreaser whips with Scotchgard Protector on a cybertruck?
