This is maybe a stupid question but does the tank need to be empty?
Thomas Snoeck no, it don’t. But more fuel, more heavy it will be.
If you want to change the fuelfilter, it should be as empty as you dare to drive it.
The quick disconnects will stop any leak. Otherwise it's just a weight issue.
