BMW R1150GS, 2002, decat (Y pipe), no db killer 11d version Results: smooth driving, almost no backfire, more power available sooner, better torque and more km in a full tank. Conclusion: great upgrade!!

How do u call it a scam when someone that is not linked to him has bought it and is using it. If u said this on John Gemi’s page, I can understand. But on some one else’s page . Well I guess it’s ur opinion u are giving .

Nice vid thanks for the video. Do you know whether you need a Y pipe (no cat) and a stubby or say a Remus for the chip, or does it work with the Stock Cat and can? I was hoping to choose 9,10 or 11 with K&N, stock cat and stubby

A friend with a rockster (same engine) put in high compression pistons and a few other mods. It's pretty intense....But real thirsty.
Good question Thomas Snoeck, I need to know that as well. The tank in my BMW 1150GS ‘00 is rusty on the inside and is causing problems for the engine :(.. I read about tank cleaning fluid.
So? What was the net overall effect?

The power is available sooner, it makes a completely diferrent bike, for better.

20 year R owner. Witnessed lots of adaptations, with no results. Research shows the results to be non existent. If you spend 5k in upgrades, u get less than 10hp. Just buy a fast bike. The only way to gain performance on an r1150rt is to, reduce gvw, and lose some lbs yourself. Less weight, faster bike. I can go into technical detail if you like. Ty. Good luck.
Sam Sam I agree ... I have always been dubious about changes done that apparently were ‘missed’ by BMWs engineers. It can happen, but there is usually a price to pay in terms of longevity of the engine or fuel economy. I have a R1150GS and sure, would love more HP - so I lost 30lbs and both the bike (and I) are much more responsive ;)
This is maybe a stupid question but does the tank need to be empty?
Thomas Snoeck no, it don’t. But more fuel, more heavy it will be.
If you want to change the fuelfilter, it should be as empty as you dare to drive it.
The quick disconnects will stop any leak. Otherwise it's just a weight issue.
