Interesting, good review. Now, my view since I own one of these critters (Fiat 500 Sport). Purchased the vehicle in March 2013 & today had my third oil change (at 21,000 miles). Daily commute is 110 miles round trip, 75% highway, 25% street surface. Realizing 37 mpg doing well over the stated speed limit for extended periods. I laugh everytime I fill up. Accelearation, Fran overlooked this, there is a "Sports" button on the dash & it works. Finally, car insurance went down.
As an owner of a 12' Mini cooper (non s). I test drove the regular 500 sport because I started to feel like the Abarth would've been cooler/better value. The Fiat (surprisingly) was very comfortable. The driving position is pretty high, but not that high. The main difference between the two cars, is that the Mini feels a bit more like a grown up sports car, especially with its lower driving position. The Fiat felt much more like a toy (not a bad thing) it felt "cute" to drive. (also not bad).
I have a mini to & did test drive the 500 for 3 days. its roomier than our mini.our mini is the 120hp version but I must say. the Fiat made me a believer in it & its just as pepy around town & on the highway at 80mph. steering is so light till you hit 30mph & it stiffens up.
nice, I have one, is very fast on curves, like a karting lol, also trunk (i was surprised) in enougt big to put two supermarket trolley full... you have to think a little, and there you go. also, lots of security abs esc, panic brake assist+light signal bla bla bla, amd very economic on fuel. greeting from argentina
I visited a Hyundai dealership after they refused to make an inspection under my warranty. When I went to the dealership they denied me public accomodation and called the Police saying I was trespassing. So much for a vehicle warranty.
i don't like cars with lots of horse power. who are the people who keep on pushing for these gas guzzlers and forcing the rest of society to pay more at the pump ?
FI.....AARRTTT ..... why the hell do all Americans mis pronounce every non-US car manufacturer??? And 0:28 is wrong, the 500 is actually made in Poland!!
Do not buy a fiat! Do NOT! F Fix A all I. It Time In two years I’ve spent over 6000$!!! Replacing everything! Transmission at 138,000 miles, starters 3 of them, alternator, wheel bearing, 6 head lamps, a grounding strip! Hatch back got stuck was 450$ get it fixed. Now tail lights out that is another 250$ replace wiring because the changed the plate lights and wiring on a 2012! That’s for starters! I can not! Take it anymore this car is draining me! I’ve had it towed now 7 times for not starting. Never know when I’ll break down? Be stuck some where. Do NOT Buy
Jamie Heart not a problem. I have a Mini at the moment and there is just me and my son. My mini has zero room in the back and practically no boot space so used to that
you clearly do not know what the hell your talking about. I have 159,750 miles on my Fiat 500 and it has needed Nothing. except a battery and front brakes, normal wear stuff.. The Fiat 500 is excellent in reliability
I've watched a lot of Fiat 500 videos and this one is good because it covers the essentials without being overly technical. Thanks.
I love my car. For a new driver, a Fiat is very controllable and easy to handle. Plus, it's stylish as hell.
I just bought a 2015 model, in Australia it's half the price of a mini...so it was a good buy for me
I'm, 6'4 260 pounds and i own and fit comfortably well in my fiat 500.

I've always been a fan of all those wonderful small cars from Europe.
It's strange somehow you look a bit older here than in your newest video :)
Happy New Year and stay healthy :)
Best review I've seen so far and I've looked at a bunch of them. Thanks

Fiat is AWSOME...if long term reliability is good they will be good to go. I love it!
should show more close-ups like of the gage cluster and stuff like that
Like this test. This guy is ok .
lol "it made so much sense it was crazy ''
hahaha
hows the trunk space for real?
Filipino ka po??
There is no comparison with Mini or a sport car.... maybe with Smart car!
Hyundai doesn't own fiat. Fiat owns fiat and has its own dealership
Yes my friend, in 2008 Fiat bought ( or owns ) 85% of Ferrari :)
Fiat also owns Ferrari. Just thought you guys should know ;)
holy moley.
I didn't think a guy that big could fit in such a car.
your knees must be upto your hands when you're in it.
Nooo, i found you even here! 😅 🤣 🤣
This car in stick shift seems so intriguing and cool to me. Like I want to drive it but something tells me it's too girly!
Go for it, you will have so much fun, ironically speaking I just bought one yesterday! you also save a ton of money on gas

Fiat also owns Chrysler actually.
i don't like cars with lots of horse power.
who are the people who keep on pushing for these gas guzzlers and forcing the rest of society to pay more at the pump ?
Mini coopers are way overpriced.
The fiat 500 2012 is made in Toluca Mexico
The European Fiat 500 is made in Poland
I buy it bcz that's what I can afford 😂
Mini is so overrated. It's not cool anymore when everybody driving the same . Look what happened to the PT cruizer.
Its assembled in Mexico, not made in Mexico.
you need to clean then inside, its dirty
He moves like he's doing Tai Chi :/

That car is 4' 11' high. I estimate that guy is about 5' 5" or as tall as I was a 13 year old lol. I'll keep my full sized LS Lexus.
Do not buy a fiat! Do NOT!

bryant williams Just bought a 2012 Fiat 500 pop. Great
Jamie Heart Looking at getting one next week. Hmmmm.
debbie peter it's cute, just extreme lack of back seat room. If you will have regular back seat riders, I do not recommend.
