Lake District YHA's have some great big old places spent many time in all of them growing up. Derbyshire is full gems shame such big network of YHA's have been shut only half what there was originally.
My favorite kind of content. Historic homes. Absolutely beautiful. I'm glad that your two friends had a pleasant sleep. 😴. In my backpacking days I stayed in many British Youth Hotels. Brings back good memories.
Glad you enjoyed it and it's equally as lovely see you commenting on the TE channel again there's follow up to this video next Monday about the dale down below of ravenstor. Do you remember what British Youth Hotels you stayed in?
@@ThomasEdward Oh I can't remember the names, only the locations. Several in London, all the way up to the Isle of Skye. Edinburgh, Aberdeen, Inverness. Cardiff, Penzance, Bath. I used to have a Youth Hostel "passport" book with all of the stamps. Will have to look for it.
Glad you enjoyed it! You missed Nosebag at beginning I'd just had breakfast it's great place where my mum spent lot time at actually next Monday will be follow up video to it down in the dale. In less you join Patreon then you can see it tonight.
@@ThomasEdward doesn't look like it's changed much, but guess they have WiFi now, and unlikely to still have 'The Stonk' by Hale and Pace on the jukebox.
Fascinating - love British history told through its buildings. I remember staying in some grand YHAs in the Lake District, brings the memories back.
