I've seen so many videos of the standard backpacker route (Melbourne/ Sydney/ Gold Coast), that it's genuinely refreshing to see an outsiders perspective on the more quintesential parts of the country, the parts that Aussies put on their own bucket lists. You're also very good at making an entertaining vlog. Look forward to much more.

If you come to Adelaide again and you like museums, you should go to Port Adelaide. There is the national railway museum, maritime museum, aircraft musem and military vehicle museum all within a reasonable walking distance along with some fine heritage buildings throughout the port. On the port river they have boat tours and you may see some dolphins. I can attest to this as having done all of them as an Adelaide born/living citizen.

There’s stunning beaches - with Stokes Bay named best in the world for 2023 - unusual rock formations - such as Remarkable Rocks - craggy cliffs and wonderful walks - including Admiral’s Arch - great wineries, talented artists and artisans, delicious locally made honey along, with all manner of food treats and much, much more!

The parklands surrounding Adelaide served as a line of defence against enemy cannon fire. The Adelaide CBD is a square mile, (North Terrace to South Terrace, West Terrace to East Terrace), and the original parklands were a mile deep on all sides, providing the perfect distance to evade the range of the enemy's cannons at the time of settlement.
It's good to see that you enjoyed your time here.

This series of videos has been a great watch. Never gets old watching peoples reactions when they meet the local wild life. There is a park just east of Melbourne called Cardinia Reservoir Park where you can picnic with eastern grey kangaroos and bin chickens. Think seagulls are annoying, wait till one of these lands on the picnic table. Nice area to visit as well as it is adjacent to the Dandenong ranges. Which is also worth a look at especially William Ricketts Sanctuary.

The Mediterranean climate is something special, and you don’t find it in many places, mainly the Mediterranean region, California, and parts of South Australia. If you’ve never lived in it, it’s hard to explain. The air feels so fresh, and you get plenty of sunshine without that heavy, sticky humidity. It’s just a really comfortable way to live.

Guys love your honesty. Yes Adelaide is a great place. (But wait there is more).... next time your in Adelaide let us know accommodation is no problem.. we have the barrossa Valley, McLaren Vale . Beaches, parks, fishing spots. The copper basin wallaroo, Port Lincoln...more & more to explore. Its as big as you make it.
We would love to have more Americans living here , in a place of carm opportunity & excitement.
Don't forget SA is connected to NASA and space X.
    Enjoy your adventure .

Tia, the postcard looks great. You've got a real talent there so yes, keep making them. But the BIGGEST news for me has to be that Blueberry's got some wheel covers on again. Nice.

When you head down to the Limestone coast (South Eastern South Australia) a must to check out would be the Coonawarra wine region, if you're into wine, and then the Blue Lake and Umpherston sinkhole gardens of Mount Gambier. Love your work guys.

Did you know South Australia also has a totally unique light / power pole called the stobie or stobie pole. They are not used anywhere else in Australia.

Hope you made it to Haighs Chocolates in Rundle mall ….notice Adelaide has power poles made out of concrete and steel …”stobie poles…lack of termite resistant tall trees !
