I have always liked the MR2. One of my best friends bought one new years ago. It was a fun car to drive and ride in. About 10 years ago, I bought a Mazda Miata. It was my first true sports car. It was a decent balance between performance and costs. It sounded OK, especially in higher RPM's. My first car ever bought was a Chev 67 Chevelle SS 396 Factory High Performance. It sounded really good, especially with the headers. Today, I drive a 2008 Maserati GranTurismo. It is a true Italian High Performance Sports Car, with lots of Luxury too. It has back seats, trunk, leather, etc. Prior owner replaced exhaust system with high performance everything. It was loud and sounded good, pretty much straight pipes back to tips. But, it gave me a headache to drive. I put in a high performance axle back exhaust system that had small mufflers. It sounds great, and doesn't announce in advance to the Police that I am coming their way.

I convinced my grandpa to let me work on his 1985 MR2 to get it as a temporary car. Will probably buy it off him when I get the money seeing how it'll be my first car (I'm 15 don't judge)
Be careful out there, public roads ain't race tracks ! BMW not feeling too well after that hairpin. Anyway, I think you're getting there with the microphone setup. Sounds way better than the first time. Still lacks a bit of deepness i think, maybe get it closer, or higher volume for the engine ? Or work on the road and air noise the microphone is getting. On your drive, especially the hairpin: just go full apex mode. Get as far from it in the beginning, and get as tight as possible, then out again. Getting the rear end loose is useless apart from show, with this much traction (dry road/good tires), it's slowing you down a lot. Give it just enough to have the appropriate weight transfer, in case the rear is light.
Beautiful build and nice spirited driving! Enjoy every minute of your time in this car! It's a keeper. Not asking you to give away any driving secrets but out of curiosity, where is this road?
