note on the hero points from wvw: you do get them refunded when overspending, BUT you cant promote them to newer expansion currencies. So if you buy to much EoD scrolls its fine, but if you buy too much HoT scrolls you might sit on HoT testemonies and not enough HPs (you can spend them on core HPs as well, but those are also limited)
I made characters for birthday but to actually play my second character was a necromancer I love using scrolls to outfit my alts now Love how you made a char engineer! Roleplay enameled

I realized the testimonies bit when I was trying to get hero points on various expansion maps that were easy to get and then came to the realization I can just play WvW, get rewards while I play for future upgrades or items, and also get skill points for my alts.

I'm playing Mech now since it can solo almost everything in open world, but I was a Holo main before EoD, still dabbling in it when the group doesn't need Alacrity (like the mobs in Freezie Strike - no one in PUGs seems to use pulls to help cleave them lol).

This will sound weird but it's important to understand that I've played the game quite a lot, that means that mechanically playing builds isn't very challenging for me. I could pick literally any build and this series wouldn't really have changed at all, so I just go with playing the strongest because that's how I normally play.
Also the series is aimed at beginners, so picking the "easiest choices" (meaning easier rotations, stronger builds and/or more accepted in groups) is actually helpful. They can play more challenging classes/specs after they get into the game.

Nah, rifle mech was hands down the biggest blunder of EoD. They made a BETTER ranger pet, and didnt see an issue with it. It was beyond OP and annoying. Glad its not relevant in pvp anymore.
@@timothykeller9419 i dont care about pvp, make changes for specific game modes like scrapper, but in pve was very fun and useful, they better bring some other classes to old mech performance and make a larger pool of choice
@@TR4GIC_ I think Mech was a cool idea, implemented wrong. It should have been like Taimi. WHere you get INTO it. Treat it like Bladesworns dragonn trigger. Use enough Tool belt skills, it charges your overdrive, at max overdrive, hop into your mech suit. I think that coulda been a much cooler, and more unique approach to the class.
@@TR4GIC_ Well on the contrary I’m very happy they nerfed it hard because it was so dumb that it built very mediocre and lazy players for like 8 months and the whole pve sphere suffered from that. Definitively doesn’t sound "fun" to me pressing 3 buttons and be hard competitive. I agree that not everyone wants to push their limits on a game and want it to challenge themselves, I agree that gw2 is a casual game with a lot of people that comes to play in the evening after a long work day and just want to chill. But here it was so dumb that it absolutely reversed the thing, went on the other extreme of : it is so stupid and easy that It will be really bad for the whole game. Also was really boring when you had like 7 mechanists in your squad with 7 big mechs and you would lose half of your screen visual awareness on a game where you have to be a little careful of your placement and aoe on the ground.
I like the roboter pet concept but the bright green color and visuals in general are not my taste. I wish they would put some money into development for skill effect mtx for PvE...
Funnily enough ele is probably one of the easiest options you could go with, celestial tempest is both very easy and very powerful I'll definitely be playing it. That's not the main misunderstanding here though I think. You need to understand that I play to win - always, I will ALWAYS abuse the most broken builds possible to get the job done. That's why I'm known as the heal scourge and minstrel chrono guy lol. Ele right now (all three specs tempest,weaver and catalyst) are actually pretty easy to play, times are changing!

"booster gear?!" you know damn well it's called full celestial and it's OP AF and even though it's exo gear it's on most professions the best gear for solo all, ... I guess the text helps to get new players confident and watch your vid, but still cele is broken, Anet knows that because they wanna make the game easier and more accessible for noobs, but it should basically be banned from WVW or nerfed a f%ck ton. I just did the math on it, A full 3 stat gear set without infusions or runes = 3303 on total stats, full 4 stat = 3612, full cele = 5751!!! That is 74% more than 3 stat gear; I repeat, 74% MORE STAT total.... like whatever hybrid you wanne build, a little bit more healing, a little bit more boon duration, you right away end up with celestial. Like 20% or so more stat would be fair. 74% more just makes no ffing sence what so ever.

you don't even need to tp to friend if the person helping you has a turtle.. you just mount the turtle together and you get the waypoints

@@Vietcongster Holo can still solo anything, it’s just not nearly as easy as mech. Celestial holo is so strong it’s crazy

u are unable to get ritualist gear from wvw, you only receive rare ritualist gear from the reward track not exotic at 15:53
But you can get legendary gear from WvW, and that also have it ^^
You get the ascended trinkets though!

Can you do an intake zero to hero?
Ironically firebrand has more buttons than ele and an energy management system, so "harder" is kinda just a skill difference here.
