- Now that my Ascended trinkets are largely sorted out, I turn my eyes to something which I've actually already had in my possession for a while now - my Ascended staff. Now, being the hyper-efficient OMEGAGAMER that I definitely am, I can't possibly bear the thought of losing 3 golds' worth of sigils whilst salvaging my current Exotic staff - so, naturally, I'm left with only one option...

It is even better. He disappears, but it's just a brick joke (a joke with a punchline coming unexpectedly late). If you play through the whole core story and get to the credits, wait for them to go through all the way to the end, the music changes and Wozmack (the magician) reappears as if nothing happened since that mission in the beginning. And on top of being able to perform his old tricks, he can summon phantasmal dancing moas, causing all the NPCs to dance as well.

The new account luck is a real thing teapot. My friend got the game and boosted to HoT then immedietly got the invisible shoes on the treasure mushroom lmao. I have been playing since launch and never gotten them

been playing gw 2 for 10 ears wery casuali, this series helps me to use many aspekts of the game efficiently, for examplne i never used matter convertor because id did not see the value in the items i can buy there, thx teapot :) gj

As you do more fractals you will have excess ascendant items. You can then Stat change the ascendant armor or weapon then salvage for research notes. I currently have over 50k research notes. I use my imperial favor for aurene weapons though haha. I was an enjoyer of the 10k research note skins. People complain and now it's friggin 75g + research notes.
Alot of people dont even know, that this recipe exists. I don't blame them, I mean.... It's one of the worst trade offs you can do in this game, better off just farming a few berries for a couple days and buy backpieces that way. Just farm Lake doric and bitterfrost nodes every day and you have access to most ascended stuff, even aqua breathers. Other than that, good video, time to order sell some claws I guess, ty teapot.
I think the opportunity cost of winterberries is much more expensive than nuking gold, my approach to gearing is basically just blast as much 'efficient farming' as possible and then leverage gold to buy stuff.

I seem to be missing something, my Ley-Energy converter doesn't have the option to by the WvW box, but I have all of the tabs unlocked. What am I missing?

Black Lion Salvage Kit Saga has a way better story than Icebrood Saga tbh
my acccount is 4058days old and I have played 3917hours( I'm working 100% so) and I never got any high priced drop so far. I also opened a few BL chests already. Some accounts are juiced, some are not.
Little do you know all your luck was blown on that 1% wvw keg :P Drop teapot an infusion! Haha

Need to clarify better on salvage kits: SILVER-FED DOES NOT GIVE YOUR RUNES OR SIGILS BACK.
The Silver-Fed actually salvages the runes and sigils, meaning they turn into Lucent Motes and Charms/Symbols. If you want those upgrades back, never ever EVER salvage your gear with anything other than the Black Lion Salvage Kit (for exotics) or Ascended Salvage Tool (for ascended).
The silver-fed doesn't extract upgrades, it salvages them with an 80 % chance
Yeah the language used on that is a bit misleading.
@@Jakerunio thats because it IS misleading. Back in the day the silver fed used to extract runes all the time. Later on Anet inroduced the mote (or whatever its called) mechanic but failed to update the item description for it.

BL salvage kits free ectos basically if you know what items to buy. The rune or sigil pays for the transaction in other words.
this series is the living proof new accounts or those who were inactive for a while got increased loot rates.
I came back to game after like 7 years and didnt get anything even worth mentioning in 3 months of daily play, doing infusion metas etc. Opened like 4k tot bags and got only crap

You are better of getting HP from PoF or HoT maps
I know but seeing as its my first character i want to avoid going to areas out of sync with the general story. I'm not stressing too much about it for this character
@@-XArchLinuxEnjoyerX- You can't get the elite specs from core tyria alone. Elite specs need 250 hero points to unlock but theres only 189 in central tyria (200 if you count dry top and silverwastes)

I want to know whats going on with new accounts and Dragonfall Teapot. My alt has obtained 2 eyes of jormag during your series so far. What is going on?!!!! atleast this is tradeable
On my main acc I've never gotten one kit.
I played about 2000 hours and dumped that dumpster fire.
It wasn't a waste to buy Dragonfall by itself, it lowers the price of the bundle. You already have 2 eps, which is why the bundle is so cheap. ... then again, I suppose you already know this by now. 😅
I dont get it...i play GW2 on and off for about a year and a half now. I have about 500 hours on my character... i never got anything good dropped from anything. Did Tequatl multiple times, did Wyvern matriarch, did each meta in Heart of Thorns at least 20 times, some a lot more ( dragon stand for example ) ... nothing of value dropped for me ever. I mean so much so that i only do that stuff for fun of it ( Tequatl is really fun fight imho, as well as is Tripple Trouble...) not for expectation of something good to drop.
If i want good stuff i do achievements...i do them like crazy and so far i have one ascended weapon from specialization collection, one ascended weapon box to choose from and one ascended armor box to choose from and another close by as soon as i finish two season 2 storyline achievements ( avoid centaur windwalls thing and avoid the rocks falling at the final boss thing )...and trinkets offcourse that i got for storyline achievements i did so far, i am missin a backpiece but i will get that from getting the collection for order ascended backpack.
From my perspective getting ascended gear through achievements seems like most viable solution, except crafting which i dont intend to do.
Given that i dislike crafting very much and will only craft simple things and there is no chance i will go craft ascended gear, i resorted to WvW and PvP to get towards ascended armor pieces that will i need after i complete all the achievements that give me asceneded box... ( i can realistically get 2 or 3 more boxes..and i will be missing two for the full set ).
It would be cool if a piece drops..just like that... :P
Oh well... i guess i can search the Dry top for unindentified fosilized insects for one more ascended box...
You could get the unindentified fossiles as well by doing a reward track - you would need to buy the recipes though.
I would say playing fractals is the most viable way of getting ascendend stuff, but if you don't like fractals, it's gonna be much harder, yes ...
@@DreiSchwerterZorro I dont mind fractals, i tried them a few times... but i mostly play alone so i dont have a group to do fractals with most of the time.
