At 21:30: Page 64 of the rulebook under destroyed units "When a unit is Destroyed, all Destroyed and Bailed out armoured Tank teams remain in place as wrecks while all remaining teams are removed." For the heads you removed a couple of Cougars and the jaguar from the table when they failed their morale check.
Now, here's what it says for transports in the same section "If a Transport Unit fails its Morale Test, its Passengers are pinned down and dismount before the unit is removed." So the BMP did have to make a morale check and if it failed all bmps would be destroyed and the infantry get out (away from the enemy tanks) and are pinned down.
At 30:35 you should have had to roll to see if it hit front or side armor due to turret orientation. That matters more for the T-55 then a leo 1.
Only two Tornadoes? For shame, they are the second best aircraft in the game with that AT 8 on top with salvo and firepower 3+. They'd probably be best if British Harriers didn't do the same with jump jets (more reason to go full CAF!).
Also I'm sure that the John is aware but CAF Leo 1's are better then West German (CAF Leo1's have Brutal on their guns).
You do make me need to paint up my LAVs and Cougars though dang nabit.
It would be great to see other rule sets like 7 days to the river rhine or force on force. The tables look better with less tank parking lots.
its really a problem with the scale, its hard to have a tank battalion on a 6x4 table and not have it look like a parking lot at 15mm
@@geralddrake3002 then adjust to platoon or squad level games/rule sets
@@Ralai14 Some people just prefer company/battalion level games.
Force on Force would be nice but is no longer supported and the rules are hard to find. 7 Days however is still supported along with Iron Cross so much easier to play
@@geralddrake3002 Partly true but TY is known for devolving into parking lots of vehicles on either side. Events and tournaments have special rules like no duplicate units, and now dynamic points is a thing which is trying to stop mass-armour being meta.
