Bonnie please don't compare yourself to others! There's no need to apologize and the people who can understand your words with the kind intent they were meant with, are the people here who stay to come back and watch you! We could all learn tremendously from your kind heart and selfless acts that you share. I promise that your work is not going without recognition and support, it is truly invaluable what you do Bonnie! The mental health awareness that you spread is also so important to so many people and to the amazing community you've built on yt. You're making a kinder world and one that sees people through less judgement.

One thing I realized after my husband died, I had too much unused stuff. As a Senior, I slowly purged my kitchen, I only have three fry pans, wasn't using my crock pot, thank goodness I had a friend to help me and take things to a thrift store.

@lightgiver7311 I had a housekeeper for a short time & she suggested I get rid of a large amount of silverware, pans & cereal bowls. Not all at once just small amounts & I have had to go buy a few things like forks when the grandkids are here. It has helped some but I think I need to get rid of some more. Baby steps, baby steps.

As an 8 year widow from a 42 year marriage, who uses her warming drawer to hold all my lids; the grieving depression is real. The excess of kitchen essentials is because she moved out of her home and had to downsize into the apartment. Loosing her home after loosing her husband is alot to bare. So many others advised me to move from my home, but I'm glad I stayed put. I hope your client finds a therapist and starts to find some peace. Helping her clear her space will help her clear her mind.

Thank you, Becki! I wish I could tell people to watch the ads because, you're right, that is the main way we make money on UA-cam, but I understand being bugged by the ads. It's nice that UA-cam has made some non-skippable ones so we usually get paid at least a little bit even when people skip the other ads. I do try to watch as many ads as I can on the channels I watch because I know it helps them and it's only a minute of my life. I usually just have their videos going on in the background while I'm doing something else anyway, so it's no big deal to let the ads run. I really appreciate you knowing that and appreciate you putting up with the ads because I know they can be annoying. 😜Every once in awhile I do find one that hooks me.😄

Sometimes, it's ok to take a break from giving of yourself, your time, your energy... so that you can take time to care for yourself & to let others care for you. Otherwise, you will get burnt out. I'd not let any negative Nancy's/Ned's get into your head or under your skin. There will ALWAYS BE those few who will judge, criticise & try to bring you down. Trashing someone is called making a Splash. It's really bad how many people are negatively affected. It is exponential how it spreads or ripples before things calm down. If one person does it because of their disorder, I'm thinking NPD's, they are compelled to trash people. We must be No Contact with NPD's because they cannot exist and not make Splashes. They are not fixable, so No Contact is the only way. It's not you Bonney and btw Mac deletes anything but simple praise comments and you can too.

Do you also have dreams about redoing High School as you are now, knowing that everyone has their own issues even when they look like they have it all together, even the popular kids? I would be so much less concerned about my awkwardness and try to go out of my way to find those who are struggling. I always try to remind my kids that everyone is too busy worrying about how to fit in, so however awkward they might feel at this time, everyone else is in the same boat and it gets much better after high school. I guess I should say for most people it gets better. There are still quite a few adults who are bullies and need to grow up and they can make life difficult for their peers, but, generally speaking, adulthood is better than High School.😊

I can’t imagine how hard it might be for her, but it will be a huge relief when her home turns into a tidy comfortable place to live that she can keep clean on her own. It's also so nice to hear the voice of an autistic woman in this space. As someone whose struggle with neurodivergence has affected my ability to keep my house orderly and clean using NT approaches, it's so helpful to see and hear someone with a perspective closer to my own talk about cleaning and organizing. Mack is great, but he's too tall to see things from my perspective, lol. 😜
Seriously though, the absolute joy you derive from making things clean, and your wholesome kindness and openness are a comfort and inspiration. Keep being you.

Getting out of the "victim" spot can be a very tough thing to do, especially for those who have been beaten down one way or another, be it by life or other people (or, as is also the case at times, by themselves). I know I would not be the only one that would seriously miss it if you no longer made videos. I enjoy your videos a lot! Please know that many UA-camrs struggle over staying motivated due to discouraging analytics. What I have found is: as long as they remain authentic, that if they do what makes them happy UA-camrs, people are happy to watch. As for views and subscribers, you should be aware that UA-cam has been experiencing technical issues across the board. One UA-camr I've watched for years suddenly had videos disappear, another had 100's of videos that suddenly showed ZERO views. Please don't always assume it is you and your content Bonnie, you do a great job!

Thank you for sharing that. I am also hearing that some people are being inundated with political ads, which are never fun to watch, so they click off of those as soon as they possibly can, so that may be part of the reason for the drastic drop in ad revenue is because of this being an election year (here in the U.S. - not sure where you're at). Super frustrating, but at least there is a little validation in knowing it's not just me and I just need to stick with it and hope next year will be much better. Thanks so much for your support!

I was watching a video that said it had zero views that had 41 thumbs up how is that even possible so you know it’s messed up. For the viewer it doesn’t matter that much if it’s messed up but for the content creator that’s revenue, that’s money in their bank, so UA-cam get it together! I don’t want to lose any of my favorite UA-camrs like Bonnie!

I really really relate to what you were saying about the challenge of only comparing yourself to yourself and appreciating one’s own growth. Sometimes UA-cam feels like a terrible popularity contest. Which really is no good because some folks have 55K subscribers and some have 105 subscribers. And those numbers rarely tell the truth about the most creative, entertaining, inspiring content. You are funny, interesting, and super smart about how to clean and organize things!!! Yes! I recently got rid of a lot of our extra Tupperware because now if we ever run out, I know that's a sign we have way too many leftovers sitting in our fridge that have not been eaten and that it's time to clean out the fridge and get back some of those Tupperware containers. An inconvenience for just a few minutes, but overall, it's a lot easier than having piles of dishes everywhere and nowhere to store them.😁

In general, these things are not very expensive. If you happen to run out of Tupperware one day, you can simply buy some.
I now throw away containers without lids or lids without containers. No more “Oh, I could use this at some point”. If the plastic is discolored or smells strange, I throw it away too. There's one drawer for Tupperware and if something no longer fits in there, I have to decide what can go.
It needed years until I realized that I'm not that poor to be forced to keep everything.

This is my first time on this channel (which I’m really enjoying) and so much of the clutter in this video really made me think of Dana k white from a slob comes clean and how your cleaning would easily tie into her decluttering method.
A key concept she taught me is that I can keep anything, but not everything, and whatever I keep has to fit in the container or space I have. So if the cabinet for pans is too cluttered that things are not easy to put away or get to then it’s time to declutter.
It’s not that those things aren’t useful, I just don’t have room.
Same thing for blankets, or clothes, or craft supplies.
