Agree. I went to my favourite store yesterday and although there were lots of bargains with sale items I thought to myself, do I really need this or that and ended up putting everything back I'd planned to purchase and walked out empty handed. Although it felt miserable to do this I congratulated myself afterwards as I've been decluttering for years and acquiring more just isn't in line with this action.
@@MarianneMcVeigh-xz2yvI have come to do that as well, where I often grab a bunch of things I think I need or want and then after lollygagging through the store for awhile, I go put it all back and walk out. I seldom regret it! ❤
This is just me okay? I gave up trying to clean mom's garage also my little bro also hoards up car cleaning product and buckets to store his car cleaning product. First thing. I'm Asian. Now back to the issue. Now from your point of view. On the right side of the garage is filled with mom's oversize cooking pots, boxes of boxes stack on top of each other, the average fold-able table with boxes of cooking pot inside their boxes stacked on top of each other, under the table is more cooking pot in boxes, each side of the table will have those trash can..Idk the type of trash can that look like 55 gallon drum or whatever these will be filled with mom's cooking pot. Mom also hoard up a lot of.."herbal" crap. Now on your left side the garage is filled with little bro's car cleaning product in buckets stacked on top of each other and in rows. I told my little brother that he need to stop buying these car cleaning product. They are not special at all. He's wasting money. "Your fkkking car is going to get dirty. That's just the natural life cycle. You spent 2 hours every sunday cleaning that sh8t but it's gonna get dirty within a week. No amount of "best cleaning product" will keep your car clean or protected from the elements".
I completely understand your issues with Jason. I have a nephew named Jason, and he’s the worst. He insists he’s an Argonaut, when he clearly isn’t. I tell him, “You don’t have a ship, you don’t have a crew, and that is not a Golden Fleece, it’s just a Gold Lamé sweater you bought at Goodwill. Also, that’s not a sword, it’s a machete. Ancient soldiers had swords, swords I tell you. And when did any of the Argonauts wear a hockey mask? Never, not even one of them ever wore a hockey mask. There was no hockey in Ancient Greece. But you don’t care do you? Got to wear that damn hockey mask, every, single, day !!!” I swear, the guy is just insufferable.
I don’t want this comment to come off as mean at all: I truly appreciate that your own home is realistic and needs some work with decluttering, housework etc. even though this is your job. I really love how genuine your channel is.
I’ve always had a problem with clutter. I used to always get distracted and forget what I was doing, lose my spot, or lose my focus on cleaning. My mom suggested that when I clean a room, I start inside the door of a room and gradually clean the area right next to the door. Then I move to the small area adjacent to the area that I just cleaned. I usually just do that and proceed kind of in a clockwise manner until I’m all the way back to the door where I started. That way every area gets cleaned and I haven’t skipped a spot. I don’t know what it is, but I can’t visualize how to organize things. Sometimes I just set things down because I don’t know where to put them. This creates clutter and causes me so much anxiety. My mom used to help me organize things. And though it took a while to organize things, and it was a “boring” activity, it was always a relief when it was done. Everything had a place and if I put everything back in its place, I could find it when I needed it. So, through my mom’s help, I guess I developed some strategies and coping mechanisms so that I can feel calm.
I have severe ADHD, I will give you 2 tips that help me out. 1) start with either a color or type of object ( I like to start with trash cause then the rest is easier to see and organize, then clothes, then dishes, then the rest) and make it into a game. then 2) have a designated "Doom Pile", a box/drawer/cabinet where those things that don't have a home go but you will remember where they are when you need them. I hope this helps!
These are some tips I found helpful from a book called "How to Keep House While Drowning". It's written by a woman with ADHD and she also made a summary audiobook for people who have trouble focusing. The full length has lots of reassuring messages about cleanliness not being a sign of morality. Tips: Divide the cleaning into categories. First, pick up all the trash. Then all the dirty dishes (don't do the dishes). Then pick up all the laundry stuff (don't do laundry). Then collect everything that has a place and put it away. Then collect everything that doesn't have a place and eventually find a place for it. It could work with your system by having a box or tub for each of those categories and picking all the things up and putting them in the appropriate tub.
Old makeup - I would recommend to anyone to throw it away. Old makeup will eff up your skin and possibly cause bad eye infections. Great video! I’m glad to hear the silly voices again. Keep taking care!
@@dreca exactly, how many outfits or toys does a baby need? this will give the family more time to spend with the baby, less stress about the house, and a nicer environment for the baby to grow up in.
Yes, agree, will be a gift to family and a great gift when baby crawls on a safe floor with no holes or splinters easier to clean cause babies put everything in their mouths including their hands after they crawl on the floor, the binky falls on the floor as well as their gum teething things. A gift to last years for toys, marks from play, the push toys with wheels ect.
@@amandak.4246Yes, for clothes , newborns grow out of them so quick you don't get to use them all. Then winter comes and the parents, grandparents and family will get more clothes. So newer windows will help the draft plus save on the heat bill so they can buy diapers and formula if not breast feeding. Again, a gift to help into the future years for shoes, winter coats, duck boots, glasses, braces, bicycle and all the future expenses, ect.
Not the moose!! I love how transparent you are with everything. It makes me feel more normal. I need to completely empty my garage and organize it before the summer heat takes over
I love how well you and Jason work together. I like to watch you guys instead of cleaning my own house. This way, I can convince myself that I’ve accomplished something …
I call their videos "research" as I "prepare" to clean. Translation: they're fun while I procrastinate. But then the inspiration hits and I really do go accomplish some cleaning because of these videos. :)
When you cleaned that bathroom with all the adult diapers in it, all over the floor, I prayed for you. God bless you as you clean these places. You are really an amazing person!! 👍👍👍. I love your show and what you do. I’ve cleaned people’s homes, not like what you do, did it for 14 years. It’s really hard on the body. I also appreciate how you talk about depression. Am on medication but have learned so much about the disease and why I do what I do. God bless .
Ok making a mental note about the wolf 🐺 shelf. They were stored in a closet with the moose 🫎 & I discovered they were setting up a crime syndicate. Now I have to keep them separated. Very bad example for the house hippo 🦛.
One strategy I’ve utilised is to put what I wanted to donate directly into my car. I always was annoyed enough to clear out my boot eventually, usually when I wanted to grocery shop. 😁👍🏼🇬🇧
In every city in the Midwest there are Moose recycling and rehabilitation facilities on every corner. Please feel free to use them at your discretion for Moose disposals ⛑️ ♻️ ‼️😂🤣😆
It feels like somehow you always post right when I need your wisdom and inspiration. I can't afford to financially support you right now but if I ever am able you'll be the first creator I run to because of how much help you've given me - it's truly invaluable, thank you.
Your videos have really brought me peace after feeling as if I've been dealing with a lot of trauma lately and helped me understand my own ADHD messes so thank you!!
This video is so helpful - thank you :)! Also, Jason sounds awesome! I love it when my grown sons help me out too. Good grown kids are just heroes without capes 😊
Haha it’s been a really long time since I’ve heard you call Jason “filth”. I thought maybe some viewers had shamed you into not calling him that. We love Jason (aka Filth) 😂😂❤❤
I can never tell you how much you have helped me through me cleaning up my home. I have had a traumatic episode and it had taken me 2 years to pull myself out. I appreciate you and what you do so much. Thank you...and thank Moose!!!
I have been doing this to deal with my depression as I've been sober for over 4yrs in which I hourdered & took a lot of things apart & now being sober want things out & getting organized as now it's bothering me to have things we aren't using. (OCD) I have been illiminating so much and donating it all from decorations to furniture to lots of clothes to homeless shelters & starting to feel better not only about myself but a home w/no clutter to where I can breathe feels so good, still work in progress, much more furniture I will be getting out & donating.
I’m watching this as I take breaks from clearing out my front porch. It has been a sorting space for tossing-donating the last couple months for belongings of a friend who died suddenly. Her mother and I every couple weeks go thru the hoarding home and pull out bags of stuff to sort at our homes. Overwhelming but she had valuable Jewlery in among piles of clothing so it all has to be sorted. Your work inspires me. Thank you! And I love your goofy humor!
I've missed you and Jason. I have learned so much about my 38 yr old son, because you've taken the time to discuss your health issues. About 8 months a ago I caught sepsis in the hospital. I've been fighting for my life ever since. I am a clean and neat freak, he is the total opposite. For 2 years I've been trying to get him to clean and keep the home the way I did. He says he just can't. I can't do anything myself anymore so I can't help. It's very very hard to live like this, BUT NOW I UNDERSTAND WHY! Thanks to you I've learned to not get angry anymore and instead just pray more. Best of luck to you in all your endeavors!
Your videos have really brought me peace after feeling as if I've been dealing with a lot of trauma lately and helped me understand my own ADHD messes so thank you!
18:02 "Yes, it sucks for stuff like that to go to a landfill. That's the consequences of overspending and keeping stuff that doesn't need to be kept." One hundred percent agree. Rather than holding onto stuff that's just going to clutter your living space and impede functionality, throw it away. If that's painful, channel that pain into resistance to making future purchases you really don't need. You can't help what you did in the past, but you can make better choices going forward. I'm in the process of decluttering and organizing some spaces in my house, and I've had to sort out a number of things to donate/throw away that are perfectly good, or even brand new (in package/with tags). Yes, it hurts to get rid of them, but I've reached a point where keeping them hurts more. It hurts my mental health, the functionality of my living spaces, and even my finances (seriously, I've made SO many duplicate purchases, just because I didn't know where something was). In a sense, I see decluttering as taking responsibility for unwise spending habits. Thank you for your videos. I've been bingeing them over the past few days during this decluttering process, and it's really helping me stay on-task. (It even inspired me to clean my master bathroom! That didn't involve any decluttering, but it was badly needed, for sure.) It makes it seem like an end is achievable, which has been part of my challenge - things just seemed so overwhelming that I'd convinced myself it would never get finished, so why start? Seeing you clean MUCH worse living spaces in a matter of just a few hours really helped with that. Keep up the good work, and good luck on getting 1M subscribers!
I loved seeing the number of views and likes raise by the hundreds while I was watching this. Mac you really deserve all the views you get. What you do is so amazing! Thank you for being you!
As per your comment about sorting *not* always being about "Like Things Together"...I had a helper who helpfully put all my solder together, all my screwdrivers, all small tools, all chemicals together. 😳 I had seperate (albeit equally rusty) toolboxes for Plumbing and Stained Glass Repair, tool bags for Wiring and Move-ins/Emergency Help-A-Friend fix something, etcetera. About 15 different toolboxes, bags & tubs. My heart sunk when I saw all the lead and silver solders in one clear plastic nut container, and now I find I also have to dole out the screwdrivers again, but I forget which one went to what bag and it took years to get exactly the right sizes regularly needed for certain jobs. But I'm a girl. My house was a mess. It just looked like a lot of redundant tool pouches. 😑 Sighhh...
Brand spankin’ new subscriber here. One more closer to a million. Woo hoo!!! 🙌 I’m weird because I find watching your videos satisfying and inspiring. They are inspirational because I want to do this for others. I’ve slowly been doing it for myself and our home for several years. A couple of times I’ve done it for others, and it gave me joy and more importantly it brought my friend and family members happiness in a cleaner more functional space. Maybe this is my new calling. 🤷♀️ Your new fan from Tulsa. ❤
Thank you for taking the time to explain why just throwing stuff away is so bad. I have spent years trying to understand why I am as I am. You nailed it. You are a blessing.❤
Great to see you looking and sounding so much better and taking some time to get your own place organised. This video has inspired me to tackle my own "junk room", so thank you 😊
Mack...you always seem to know what topic to speak on to inspire your viewers (and I'm counting myself) to make good and positive changes in their lives. It is hard to go through stuff and donate or throw it away, but it can also be a relief. I so agree with sharing with the person before getting rid of things. When it concerns my things, I would rather at least be allowed to say "yea" or "nay" and it is less stressful. Thank you for your kind words and thoughts. Bless you, and your family. 🙏🙏🙏🙏💖💖💖💖
Super helpful - and makes me feel a LOT better about the recurring boss battle that is The Clutter. Also makes me feel less bad about wanting to throw out umpteen boxes full of old clothes. They're not MY clothes: but the person who boxed them up has dropped a great deal of weight and he's never, ever going to need seventeen 5XL sweaters again... I'd like to offer up another possible option for stuff like clothes though: consignment shops. There are just about as many consignment places in my city as there are thrift stores and donation places. One other thing: Because we keep managing to collect hordes of cardboard and also lots of styrofoam boxes (same fellow that dropped weight gets refrigerated medication delivered each month) - those styrofoam boxes are GREAT in multiple ways. Completely good for storing cold stuff in of course, but they'll work as cabinets (they stack really well and are strong), and if you have flooding in your garage (or whatever), the styrofoam doesn't care about water and you can keep things lifted up and safe for a while. I do my best to get at least ONE more use out of any box we have... but it's probably time that we rented a big ol' dumpster.
My daughter has generalized anxiety and is a bit of a messy pack rat. I have her with me when organizing and we have a plan first that we agree on. It’s working well and I agree with baby steps. She’s 10. This channel has so many tips that I’ve put into practice ❤ thank you!
I don't have anxiety but I am total ADHD poster child and this works for me too. A plan a checklist on the refrigerator a deadline for each area. If i don't do that I'll look up and realize I have been in the same room for two hours.
The 'Consequences of' overbuying is a real issue- over purchased clothing is a HUGE issue and even things people COULD use (think new towels, socks and undergarments, unused cosmetics, feminine hygiene and first aid supplies) could end up in landfills if there isn't a local need for those things. If you aren't in an urban area, churches and support centers will sometimes distribute donations, but not always. I feel it may be better for ones own mental health and the health of the community to get rid of items in a landfill than torture yourself caring for things that may never come to value to someone. One's mental health is worth A LOT, even if one doesn't think it does. YOU ALL MATTER, and the more FREE you all are, the more you can help others in your community!
20:31 You have a trapeze bar for practicing your aerial stunts, right? 😂 Or do you have performing moose? 😁 I really needed this video. We live in 1200 sq ft, and one bedroom is "storage". It desperately needs overhauling - it's where old furniture goes to die.
I personally watch your videos for the purpose of improving my English. I just like your voice. And sometimes I get so motivated that I get up and clean up some mess that I tend to create. Thank you for your advice to clean one space at a time.
I was going to do move-out-move-in cleaning for my guest room/office last weekend. Then I realized I probably wouldn’t want to move anything back in😂, so I did the grid cleaning. It does look 100% better and I only threw out some of the stuff (and tons of cat fur).
OMG how satisfying to get the garage decluttered and organised! Well done! I bet you went to bed exhausted but pleased to have ticked that job off the list. When I grow up I want a tool shed just like that! Regards to all from 🇬🇧
You do such a great service explaining hoarding disorder to the public. People always say, "I would just throw it out if i lived with a hoarder." Really, if it was that easy they would have done thst. That would seriously injure the person with the hoarding issues and break all trust, not to mention causing them to live in fear of loss. You are so empathetic. Credit yourself for being more aware them some "mental health experts." I love watching the work you do because of the care you show to the homeowners. Without a of the drama. ❤ you are a wonderful person. I wish I could help someone like you do.
Hi ,you make me get off my butt and get things DONE like no other so thank you both . Love your videos and love your dog watching the cleaning. Eva from Scotland 👍🏼🙂
Mack, you and Jason are a fabulous team! I watched your burnout vid and am in awe of what you’re accomplishing in spite of it! Amazing! Keep on rocking it! High fives from So. Cal.
Man, this looks so good. I'm almost crying here with my ADHD throw away trauma. Hubby threw out a whole bag of organic seeds for the garden once. Was this 35 years ago? yes. Poor guy, I will never forget it.
My cat really enjoyed the carpet removal portion of the video! Usually he ignores the tv but he was fascinated! Had a rough day and was really happy to have this video to watch. Your videos always make me feel better.
When you said something like, it is a consequence of your over buying that directly results in items ending up in the landfill, is exactly spot on! You have to realize that it is your actions that cause this.
Thank you so much for this. I am on my sixth go at clearing out our garage. It was full to the ceiling, mostly with my dad's old tools and stuff. It's been an enormous task to clear it all, hence it taking so long. I discovered my hoarder mother had kept our old kitchen cupboards and hidden them underneath shelves, then stashed loads of stuff in front. She'd even hidden the old work surfaces in there "just in case". It still feels really messy as it needs re-organising but it feels like such an enormous job. I tried doing it a few weeks ago - I live in the UK in a nice neighbourhood - and someone tried to take the chairs I'd put in the front of the garage (and this was behind my car!) as they assumed I was giving them away. So now I am too scared to clear it with the door open as people just help themselves. The grid system is an excellent idea, I think breaking it down into sections is much easier as the whole thing is still so overwhelming.
Greetings from the PNW, Lakewood Washington ! The wise is strong with this one! You have a way of explaining your process that makes it so relatable and doable! I love that you guys show your own projects and keep everything so real. It was a total family day, even with Emily sorting and helping. Good for you guys! You are totally hysterical 🤣! I'm always gunna love your dark humor and givin Filth a bad time. Really lookin forward to seeing the upcoming episodes at Jason's and your place. Hope you are feelin a bit better. 💛🖤💛 Stacy
Oh Mack - How did you know that I needed one of your videos right now? ❤ Thank you for being you and making these videos. I have found them so helpful 🌈✨ And your humour is fecking awesome, I love it! Edited to add - I've been able to use your videos as a body double as I too clean up. It's been so amazing and makes me feel stronger about tackling All The Other Meese that appeared when I entered a AuDHD shutdown in December. Thank you so much for that, Mack ❤
Perfect, it looks neat clean and organized to your liking. Great job, my cleaning angel. ❤ Hope after this day you had a relaxing evening with some fun.
4 minutes in and I think this is my most favourite episode to date. As an assemblage artist, I too have a tendency to let my muses roam, and end up with stray piles of scraps, miniatures, fabric and the like. Fortunately, my piles are tiny lol so it’s pretty easy to move, except for the moose. I absolutely abide by your strategy of removing all rubbish, which in my case is boxes and packaging from the things I frequently buy on eBay. I love my studio and wish for never a bigger one, so I cull my items frequently. I pray with my Jesuses, Mary and assorted Joseph’s, and truly let go of things that I know deep deep deep down inside I will never use. Very satisfying video from this side of our pond. Y’all rule. 🇬🇧
moose and wolves and giraffs too. I love your videos. I have a friend at work that got his toddler boy diagnosed with autism a while back. I told him about autistic burnout, so he can research it and keep it in mind.
Thanks again for your helpful instruction on organising areas, and for your advice on doing this when someone has hoarding disorder etc and what their experience of it can be. It's an unfortunate fact that continual questions or suggestions or pressure about getting rid of items tends to make the person mentally jam up and then feel the need to escape and avoid those situations. I've gotten so much more cleared in my house in months of lowered pressure encouragement than I did in decades of beating myself up and nagging and intense pushing from others. While it's completely understandable when you think a person just needs to get off their bum and do some things, it really has a way of exacerbating the problem, as does just removing stuff without the person's input. I wish it wasn't this way, because it seems completely counter intuitive to people who don't understand what hoarding disorder does to a person's thinking and there's a dire need to get things done, but that's just how it works. Hopefully it'll become more widely understood in the general public, that people will look into it instead of thinking that amping up the badgering or threatening is the way to go and that anything less is just being unnecessarily soft. Your content is going a long way towards getting that information out there, and I greatly appreciate it because it will help so many people who are struggling with this. Thanks for everything you do and the way you do it, you're definitely improving lives, I know you're improving mine.
This video was very helpful in understanding someone with hoarding disorder and how to go about getting rid of the overstock of items in a reasonable manner.
Well done my friends 👏. Just a thought, I get several see through containers to put things like crafts and clothes into for later go through. Have a great day.😊

16:40 YES! Time is a huge factor in our willingness to let go of things we believed we needed. Helps to have limited space for both items you do want to keep and room for more. 🇬🇧
Thanks for sharing such good advice. I am currently renting a room from a friend. She has stored her fathers things in here, they are very sentimental objects to her. I will of course be very sensitive to her feelings as I help her pack up these special memories and move them into the basement and garage. I own very little myself, I am not sentimental, but I understand how much these things mean to her and her mother. Kindness and compassion go a long way towards a harmonious home. Thanks from Canada.
I love how your dog is laying there at the sliders supervising the clean up. My cats do the same thing. Thanks for posting! And thanks for the Jason "house repairs for the baby" PayPal link.
Great transformation and decluttering! Glad you're feeling better and I always find your videos very inspiring. Take care and cheers from Ontario Canada.🦌🤎🪴
Thank you so much for what you said near the end about ADD/ADHD. I wish my mom had understood that about me in the 90s when she'd lose patience and angrily start removing things from my room.
I love watching your videos. This particular one is very timely as I’ve been putting off cleaning out my spare bedroom/craft room for months! I’ve been stressing over it the past couple days, so this has proven to be the kick in the pants I needed! I just want to add that I am typically very in line with the style(s) in which you do things. But you did one thing in this video that my husband does and it drives me crazy… that is using the leaf blower to “clean.” To me it just creates a big dust cloud that resettles on everything! I’d rather sweep all the dust and leaves outside, then shut the garage door and THEN blow it all away into oblivion! 😂 Thanks for continuing to provide fun content on cleaning! And congrats on the grandbaby! Being a grandparent is so fun, the best feeling! ❤
Well I keep a pretty good house, we don't have a garage, but we do have the shed of shame. And it's big.. Oh my Lord. It has everything you can imagine. I love seasonal decor. And have alot of it. And have been married 40 years. My husband has every tool known to man. So between the 2 of us, we could open our own Hobby Lobby/ Home Depot store. We have agreed we need to get a handle on it. But for whatever reason it has been raining like crazy in Texas so we are waiting for the rain to slack off so we can drag stuff out and start going through it. There's not alot of moose in Texas so if I find one I'm keeping it. So happy for Jason getting repairs on his house done and the sweet baby, and yall will love being grandparents.
Yarn is good. A tip. If these are natural fiber yarns, they really should be in ziplocks in bins rather than boxes IF you have carpet beetles or moths in your area. I don't think they bother acrylics. I'm in decluttering mode. Slowly due to chemo, but my house is extremely cluttered and pretty toxic right now, and I have more eBay items to add to that clutter than I can list in the next couple of years. I also have LOTS of yarn.
Thankyou, this makes sense with the way my daughter reacts now. I thought I was helping by throwing her stuff out without her. How wrong have I been. Thankyou kindly for opening up my eyes.
Check with the home ec teacher re: yarn. Some teachers teach knitting or crochet and squares are donated and pieced together into lap blankets for the elderly. She may also know someone who crochets dolls or animals for orphans or mission donations.
I feel overwhelmed when I see the work you do and that's saying a lot lol

Got to wear that damn hockey mask, every, single, day !!!”
I swear, the guy is just insufferable.
😂😂😂
That’s absolutely hilarious!😂👍🏼
You should have a channel, too 😂😂😂 This is awesome!
🤣🤣🤣
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
The dog watching you through the door. So cute
.......just the eyes........moving........back and forth........
Love Dakota ❤️
I don’t want this comment to come off as mean at all: I truly appreciate that your own home is realistic and needs some work with decluttering, housework etc. even though this is your job. I really love how genuine your channel is.
So glad you had the mice from Cinderella there helping you and Jason. Even though we didn't see them, we heard them. 🐁🐀
Roosaphee!
My cat loves this channel. Cool mouse noises and fast movement.
Rather glad we're back to roasting Jason because it's peak irony as he's been so awesome, stepping up to some insane jobs the past few months.
Yes, it's been too long since you've called him Filth - and I want more stories about him terrorizing old ladies!
He needs to be kept humble obviously
One filth, two filth, red filth, blue filth.
... Green Eggs and Filth.
Icky sticky flicky filth.
😂
❤
Thanksnk hate it hahah
When I was a kid I played a lot of Tetris, as an adult if I have a lot of stuff to put away I feely brain clicking to Tetris mode
These are some tips I found helpful from a book called "How to Keep House While Drowning". It's written by a woman with ADHD and she also made a summary audiobook for people who have trouble focusing. The full length has lots of reassuring messages about cleanliness not being a sign of morality.
Tips:
Divide the cleaning into categories.
Congratulations on the grand baby! You are going to be everyone’s favorite grandpa ♡
Old makeup - I would recommend to anyone to throw it away. Old makeup will eff up your skin and possibly cause bad eye infections. Great video! I’m glad to hear the silly voices again. Keep taking care!
idk how it is in the US, but expired unopened makeup can be useful for morticians especially who are still learning &need alot of practice.
@@Yosatorn.Asavapatr.Naptvik Oh, wow, I never thought of that. That's brilliant.
Would love ❤️ to see Jason & Lydia’s house when it’s all finished. That’s great that people are donating to that instead of baby gifts 🎁 😊❤❤❤☝️👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Sensible gifts should be the status quo again.
Babies need so much less crap than most first time expecting parents think they do. Half the stuff I acquired barely got used.
Dakota supervising from the door is my entire heart. 🥰🐾
*furtive hunted looking around*
Me? What? No, no, I'm being productive and putting things away on my one free day. Why?
😹🤦
😅😅😅😅
Thank you Donananana and Filth! You are appreciated and entertaining! ❤
One strategy I’ve utilised is to put what I wanted to donate directly into my car. I always was annoyed enough to clear out my boot eventually, usually when I wanted to grocery shop. 😁👍🏼🇬🇧
I live in an apartment,,so I put donate things beside my hallway door in a nice box or hanging bag so I always find them easy on my way out.
I thought I was the ONLY ONE who kept tears of my fallen enemies!!!! It's nice to hear. I'm not alone 😔
Your compassion/understanding is off the charts.
Knew I would see Sweet Dakota in the kitchen door watching you! Love Dakota so much! ♥️
Me too. So freaking cute❤
I know how cute. And her eyes going backwards and forwards watching Mack. ❤
It looks like your feeling better! I'm glad you're back to getting rid of the moose. 😊
I wasn’t 100% sure it was a joke at first. I just accepted that Jason was getting dragged through the mud like the filth he is.
@@Zeldafan36 😂😂😂
I can never tell you how much you have helped me through me cleaning up my home. I have had a traumatic episode and it had taken me 2 years to pull myself out. I appreciate you and what you do so much. Thank you...and thank Moose!!!
❤️❤️❤️
I had to get rid of my break dance equipment. My dogs kept trying to use it, but thought they were actually supposed to break things with it.
can we just take a moment to appreciate the wall art including beavis with tshirt over head and hands up in classic bunghole pose?
Fairly Oddparents, and Beavis and Butthead on the same garage wall mural...? Nice.
Woo hoo!!! 🙌
I’m weird because I find watching your videos satisfying and inspiring. They are inspirational because I want to do this for others. I’ve slowly been doing it for myself and our home for several years. A couple of times I’ve done it for others, and it gave me joy and more importantly it brought my friend and family members happiness in a cleaner more functional space. Maybe this is my new calling. 🤷♀️
Your new fan from Tulsa.
Somehow seeing you do your own space hit home to me!! I have the courage to do my own junk room now. Thank You!!!
The moose is loose!
Tetris-ed! That made it click for me! You deserve that gold-plated plaque! Keep up the amazing work helping so many !!
I love the fact that you were willing to be Vulnerable❣️
Thank you for all you do and all your help.
Always good to see your son and you working together. Hope wifey is feeling better. Much love.😘
You sound much better today Mack. Ihope you’re feeling better too.🙂
20:31 You have a trapeze bar for practicing your aerial stunts, right? 😂 Or do you have performing moose? 😁
I really needed this video.
0:05 - WHOOOAoaooAOO heaven let your light shine down
Hi ,you make me get off my butt and get things DONE like no other so thank you both .
Love your videos and love your dog watching the cleaning.
Eva from Scotland 👍🏼🙂
My favorite part is the dog laying inside the door watching their every move. So cute.
Mack, you and Jason are a fabulous team! I watched your burnout vid and am in awe of what you’re accomplishing in spite of it! Amazing! Keep on rocking it! High fives from So. Cal.
I always enjoy your shows and hope for motivation to declutter and organize 35 years of living in the same house.
Thank you.
Nice to see ur feeling better, Mack. Thanks for this video 😊❤❤❤☝️👍🏼
Man, this looks so good. I'm almost crying here with my ADHD throw away trauma. Hubby threw out a whole bag of organic seeds for the garden once. Was this 35 years ago? yes. Poor guy, I will never forget it.
Wow that is so amazing about the donations for his house!!! What a blessing!!!
Hope after this day you had a relaxing evening with some fun.
Whoa, Heaven let your light shine down
Thanks again for your helpful instruction on organising areas, and for your advice on doing this when someone has hoarding disorder etc and what their experience of it can be.
Can't wait to c the new floors at both houses.
Your Oregon Viewer. 😊
The doggy just watching and resting is so cute
Well done my friends 👏. Just a thought, I get several see through containers to put things like crafts and clothes into for later go through. Have a great day.😊
I’m a new subscriber and love your channel. Cleaning and organizing is my therapy for trauma but I enjoy helping my friends who don’t operate that way. The key is no judgment
Future looks bright for Jason. He’s a spectacular filth engineer! 🎉👍🏼 Go!
I can't get enough of your content... in every aspect!
Mack & Jason- all my best to you & your families! You are helping so many people by being teachers on your videos. Thank you so much! What you both do means a lot to so many! ❤
✨Very nice!! ✨I'm getting Bullwinkle vibes. Mack, once you have your gold plaque I suggest you showcase some sort of Golden Moose with that. I mean...who wouldn't? 😅Hope you're coming out of your burnout phase. You looked more chipper here. 😁Thanks for helping your dad, Jason!! 👍
16:40 YES! Time is a huge factor in our willingness to let go of things we believed we needed. Helps to have limited space for both items you do want to keep and room for more. 🇬🇧
Thank you Mack & Jason! You guys bring me such joy! xx 🎉
I love that wall of cartoons in the beginning.
Great transformation and decluttering! Glad you're feeling better and I always find your videos very inspiring. Take care and cheers from Ontario Canada.🦌🤎🪴
I too enjoy Collective Soul. Thanks for the video!
Thanks for continuing to provide fun content on cleaning! And congrats on the grandbaby! Being a grandparent is so fun, the best feeling! ❤
So glad for all the useful information, it makes a lot of sense, and I hope to use it in helping my son clean his place
Mac I've so many of your videos to catch up on I'm so greatly thankful ❤❤❤❤❤....here we go
Yarn is good.
Great video. Good cleaning/clearing/decluttering information. And I appreciated learning more about ADHD and hoarding disorder. Thank you!
Check with the home ec teacher re: yarn. Some teachers teach knitting or crochet and squares are donated and pieced together into lap blankets for the elderly. She may also know someone who crochets dolls or animals for orphans or mission donations.
