Ah no way! Do you know what it was called? They're something I've seen around but I don't know how to research them more because I don't know what they're called!
@@tutesweet3782 I’ve looked it up and the one I had was Grund and Rushton, which I think was quite a good brand. There were quite a lot of ‘rubber faced teddy bears’ going back to the 1950’s according to my mum. Sadly mine was just known as ‘that scary teddy/doll thing’. It was proper hideous! I can hardly believe your little love hug blythe - thank you for drunk buying her so we don’t have to! 😉
The company understands it has a cult following and can charge an outrageous price for a very simple constructed stuffy. High prices can make a product seem more special. Sorry to rain on your parade. On the other hand I can understand having something you really want and the cost not being an issue. I just tell myself it's not money it's just a bunch of numbers...lol
She's certainly cuter in person than online!
I think so! Still not a Blythe, but she has her own charm.
She is very cute. Never seen these before, but have seen similar vintage ones. Lucky she didn’t get hijacked by the customs pirates!
Thank you! Yes she seems very inspired by similar vintage toys - which I like!
She’s really sweet! My first custom Blythe was a post wine purchase 🤣 tfs xxx
Haha! The dangers of losing our inhibitions and buying what we really want! 😂
Oh gosh she is sooooooo cuteeeeeee!!!!
Thank you! I think she's lovely :)
Oh they look very soft
They really are! I don't think they're worth collecting more (for me personally!) but I'm glad I got one.
Oh wow she’s lovely! Where do you purchase these?
Thank you! She's from Junie Moon: shop.juniemoon.jp/en/collections/blythe/products/2021-luvhugblythe?variant=42156504187097
I had a much, much larger version of her in a kind of yellow colour in about 1975 (when I was four!)

It's okay, you don't rain on my parade at all!
