Did I hear you correctly when you said in classic bonsai design, the first branch is "normally" a back branch? So back, side, other side and repeat? I was under the impression that "normally" it is, side branch, other side branch then the back branch and repeat. Am I mistaken about this? I understand these are just guidelines for classic Japanese bonsai but what is most most commonly seen in Japan?
Hi David, we should have explained better - very often the first main branch is the directional branch - so leaning towards the flow of the tree. Then followed by a back branch.
The coolest bonsai master . Your voice very soft spoken ❤️

Does anyone know of a good bonzai supply store in Thailand. And a good nursery that have plants like Japanese Black Pine, Maples, Jack Pine, etc.?
Good❤❤❤❤
Can you do a video on how to make a apex? I feel everyone skips that part and it’s important!!
Its the hardest part! We have some videos on it here, but our courses discuss apex building in real detail...
Nice
Thanks

Nice result from nursery stock
Always hard to find anything good from nursery material
Yes, true!
Dang, wat is er mis met jouw? Waarom vertel je mensen dat je met ’Intratuin’ materiaal een Bonsai kan maken? Wat van Bonsai begreep je niet??
