    I've struggled with exposing SLOG footage forever. I had no idea that Gamma Assist was a thing. I can't possibly thank you enough! 🙌

      I’m glad that was helpful. The gamma assist takes so much stress out of the equation for me when dealing with slog2 or slog3.

    Amazing video! Any chance you can go over how you deal with noise and grading SLOG3 footage?! Thanks!!

    Hi, thanks for your video. It was very helpfull for me. I try to make videos like this but until now I can’t. :( I’ve a lot of problem with the lights, most of my videos are dark and/or grainy. Since now I use only HLG2020, so later I’ll try it with Slog3.
    My question is did you use S&Q or only “normal” mode for these nice and slow motion snitts?

    • @Table19media
      @Table19media  Рік тому

      I don’t shoot any slowmo for video tours usually. Just 24fps

    When you shoot handheld, how do you have the shot so stabilized with the A7iii, anything you do during post edit?

    • @Table19media
      @Table19media  10 місяців тому +1

      Plant your feet and move your upper body. This will help. You can also use stabilization in fcpx or whatever you use. Topaz can also stabilize well.

    Great video. Nice style and cool techniques; both how you expose as well as how to frame. I have a question as I also do real estate videos.
    When the agent speaks, do you charge more(money) than when the agent doesn't appear at all?

    • @Table19media
      @Table19media  2 роки тому

      If the agent is going to appear on camera I will charge extra, like $100. If they have a just a voiceover I don’t charge extra.

    Excellent info and love the results. Couldn't find the other 2 videos you mention so I'll ask a couple of questions here. Are you shooting 4K? I shoot with A7R111 and find the 1080p disappointing (soft). Broke out my leisure camera, Lumix G7, and prefer the video quality on that. Looks like you use FCP X and I'm always looking for real estate editing using that. Thanks for your time.

    • @Table19media
      @Table19media  2 роки тому

      I always shooting 4K for the sharpness and but also to adjust framing if needed. I’ll be adding some real estate video editing tutorials soon. Let me know if you have any specific questions I can make a video on.

    I'm new to filmmaking, when recording agent walkthrough, what frame rate should I use to make the voice sync? 24 Fps? 30 Fps? or 60fps? or it doesn't matter if as long as i shoot at 60 fps and I edit in 60 fps timeline, the video will be smooth and the voice will be sync accordingly?

    • @Table19media
      @Table19media  2 роки тому

      Frame rate doesn’t matter for audio sync if you are using a separate audio source. I shoot my walkthroughs in 24.

    How would you say the Sony a7iii compares to other cameras put their for the purpose of real estate photography?

    • @Table19media
      @Table19media  3 роки тому +1

      The a7iii is one of the best cameras for real estate photography. It has all the features you could need. Unless you absolutely need more than 24 megapixels I don’t see needing to pay more for a different camera.

    When you’re shooting 24 fps, are you shooting 1080p or 4k? When I shot 24p with my Cine Profile in 4k it appeared super choppy.

    • @Table19media
      @Table19media  6 місяців тому +1

      Make sure shutter is at 1/50. You can also shoot at 60fps for smoother shots. As long as you don’t move too quickly it should look cinematic with motion blur.

    What shutter speed and frame rate are you recording in? How do you set these individually?

    • @Table19media
      @Table19media  2 роки тому

      24 fps 1/50 shutter
      Set your camera dial to M for Manual and then you can adjust the shutter yourself. Set the fps in the menu.

      Sony A7iii can only shoot 8 bit. You shouldn’t use Slog 3 for a 8 bit video.

    • @DaveDelReal
      @DaveDelReal 4 місяці тому +1

      I used to think that as well, but lately I’ve seen some impressive looking 8 bit SLog3 footage.

    Hello there! So I wanted to thank you for your video. It was very informative and helpful. I do, however, have a few questions. Bear with me. I have really not delved into video but have been getting tons of requests for it. First off, the picture profile thing. I'm doing some research but not understanding it really. Can you dumb it down? Can you give me a link to some other videos of yours that will help me understand all this video stuff? I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed! I feel stupid asking but do you leave the camera in the picture mode and push the record button? Do I move the dial to the video icon? Can you tell I don't do video? I wish you lived closer so I could shadow!

    • @Table19media
      @Table19media  3 роки тому

      Those are all great questions. It’s gonna be a lot to write out so can you send me an email with your phone number and I can call you to go over all these settings? I’ll end up making a video about all of this later but for now it’s best to talk it out with you.

    I shoot real estate full time, and I'm not sold on the return on investment with a7iii Log when we are limited by 8 bit. Is anybody else not see much of a difference afterwards? I have shot houses in log 3, log 2, and standard. The dynamic range to my eye seems trivial. I just switched from premiere to DaVinci and I want to give it another go because the color management is so much better in DaVinci. Anyone else find this to be true? Maybe I just need to keep playing with it.

    • @OaklynMediaLLC
      @OaklynMediaLLC 3 місяці тому

      I'm noticing as 10 bit becomes more accessible to prosumer cameras, I am beginning to mix 8 and 10 bit and it much more noticeable to me

    • @Table19media
      @Table19media  3 місяці тому

      @OaklynMediaLLC definitely the side by side comparison is noticeable

    • @OaklynMediaLLC

      @Table19media I guess it depends on turn around time for your employer. Like it's worth it for weddings. Maybe not for every listing video. I'm on a 2017 iMac and the input conversion LUTs tank the computer performance. I have a custom built home pc which does okay though.
