Been in the market for about 3 years and still on the sideline waiting for these insane prices to settle. I never thought I would say this but I am strongly now considering the Titan.

I own a 5.7 tundra but I would go with the TITAN. Over the new tundra. I’d go for the XD though. 😉
It’s such a shame that Toyota have gone with a forced induction V6. Doesn’t matter how well designed or maintained…it will never last as long as a natural V8. So I’m with you 100%

Have a 2019 platinum and will buy a titan instead of the new tundras.
You also add that the tundra is between 15k and 20k more expensive.
Then add another 8k off the titan because they will beg you at Nissan to take it 😂

@@1IImrxII1 Titan's a better buy. Tundra has start-stop. Titan has a tried and tested V-8 over a chitty little turbo.

Beautiful trucks. I’m a big fan of both. I currently own a 2019 Titan SV Midnight Edition for the last 5 yrs. It’s an extremely reliable and durable truck!!! The V8 has plenty of power. These trucks are both more reliable and affordable than the Big three. I’d say the Titan is probably a little less cheaper than the Tundra currently, but not by much due to inflation. I will say the new Tundra definitely has better gas mileage.

Got my Titan pro4x in 2021 drove all trucks and heard of all the problems they were having and prices mine was 58K with lifetime warranty love it! Lifted it and always get compliments on it

Id go for the durability: V8 , leaf springs, and the better priced Nissan anyday. Wish they still put the cummins though.
The Cummins had all sorts of reliability issues. There's actually a class action law suit over it.
The v8 Cummins has too many issues. MPG in fuel savings is money for repairs. The Cummins B6 in the Ram is good.

Nope, engine is everything and the 5.6 hasn’t failed. Titan will outlast the tundra and cost less.

Titan all day, I'm sorry but seen enough of the new tundras, it's a terrible looking truck in person. Even in top trim, Toyota really dropped the ball on this truck especially with the reliability issues it's having to.

I am trading my 2024 TRD Sport for a Titan in the coming months, I am getting a metal burning smell out of my truck and I am not ready to have my engine replaced.
Don't hesitate. Beautiful truck, no one shows off the under seat stow bins...they lock. Also, a fold out sort of foot stool for the height impaired

Stop doing these stupid unfair comparisons!!!!! The Titan Pro 4x is an off-road package only!! It's comparison is the Tundra TRD off road. The TRD Pro is a special model like the Raptor. Nissan doesn't have a special model. It's unfair and apples and oranges. Ppl who know nothing about cars shouldn't do car reviews,
yet they all insist on this comparison which is UNFAIR.

TOYOTA HANDS DOWN Nissan doesn’t even comes close to TOYOTA. TOYOTA IS #1. Haters will always hate just look at most dealerships like Ford, Chevy, Ram, Jeep, and Nissan all this trucks sitting in the lot why is that while Toyota trucks even before they get to the dealerships they have been sold. People don’t want to recognize the truth and the truth hurts look at Toyota how they are doing and look at everybody else they are struggling, and Toyota keeps selling like hotcakes to show you who is number one.
The new tundra is the ugliest truck out there and the new 3.5 tt has/is going to have issues for a couple years until they straighten that out. The 5.6 has been around for a long time.
@@peanutpower8826 the looks are subjective. I personally think its one of the best looking trucks out there. I went with a 2022 5.0 f150 for my truck, just because the new tundra is still not proven to be reliable, but I really like the way toyota made it look. It stands out and is aggressive with the styling. My 2017 tacoma was the same way, and I suspect theyll keep that trend with the 2024 model.
The Tundra is amongst the worst selling full size trucks in the USA.

I like Toyota way more than I like Nissan but the titan wins just because of the fact that the tundra is a hybrid. I want a V8 in my truck, not some weak ass V6 and batteries you have to spend an ass load of money on to replace. If it was a normal tundra I’d choose it.
“Weak ass V6”? 437 hp and 583 ft-lbs of torque versus the titans 400 hp and 413 Ft-lbs. Sounds like the titan has a weak ass V8 lol. And as far as the battery, it will long outlast that entire Nissans drivetrain. The previous Tundras V8 made 381 hp and 401 ft-lbs so you would be getting a weaker truck because all you care about is two extra cylinders.
