- Ce véhicule n’a aucun défaut? Et bien oui, il y a des choses qui méritent d’être mieux pensé, surtout pour nos hivers rocambolesques avec toutes nos variations de météo. Je ne pense pas qu’en Angleterre, le pays d’origine du Velar, ils ont des extrêmes comme les nôtres.
Le premier défaut à signaler c’est en rapport aux poignées de portes rétractables qui, dans l’esprit « réductionniste » s’intègrent parfaitement à la surface extérieur du véhicule et, quand ça fonctionne c’est très beau, sauf que par temps froid et changeant il peu y avoir des problèmes : quand on déverrouille le véhicule, la poignée se déploie vers l’extérieur.S’il y a de la glace qui s’est formé par-dessus ou si, par temps pluvieux en hiver, de l’eau s’est infiltré derrière les poignées, il y a un problème; quand ça gèle, soit la poignée ne sort pas et il faut dégager la glace autour de celle-ci ou, si elle sort, elle ne se rétracte pas complètement une fois en marche et il faut la pousser pour qu’elle se rétracte de façon parfaitement aligné avec la surface de la carrosserie.

These handles have a lot of issues. The cover on one just fell off. Wonder of it is covered by the warranty.

The handles doesn't close, because, Land Rover decide that for safety reasons for example: imagine, if you close your royalty car and your child is getting the handle and he forgot remove his hand of the handle, the car doesn't close it, because the car have like a pressure sensors in the handle. That's why 👌

Stupid idea. One more thing to fail or break in a car. What's wrong with normal handles? So many motors for everything...
Its an feature when cold the handle do not retracts fully for them not to be stuck by ice

Kinda a wrong argument given that the parent company is Indian,but being designed by a british man,and the velar,aslo being built in Solihull, a town in UK,I guess it might be caused by both parties. You do need to turn down quality for profit,but who know's whats cooking.
