@@UniteChopRise I usually keep them on at all times, my cab is dark because of my tint so I can see it during the day.

Unfortunately international shipping is far too expensive for us to justify it, we’ve put it on pause until we’ve figure out cheaper ways to ship to Canada 🤙
I found it easier to remove the whole panel from the map lights and remove the bulb from the socket. That was from me being lazy to go back inside and get tape. You’re gonna have to do it anyway if you get the foot lighting.
Just got the interior lights from you yesterday, all lights work but one....The dome light seems to be smaller in size, it will not stay in, ended up putting the original back in

I install my interior LED lights. They are awesome. The dome light and the two reading lights do not go off when the doors close any ideas?

I looked on TB website and didn't see the foot well lights for a 2021 Taco. Do I need to get the new wire harness? I would rather not take apart the over head area. The A pillar seems like the way to go. Do you have an answer for this?

Changing the vanity lights to LEDs is the worst mod I every did to my truck because they are way to bright they blind you. I even tried turning them half way to make them not so bright and they were sill to bright. I don't know what I did with the originals so I had to buy new ones and you can only get them from the dealer. I had to order them online to pick them up at my closest dealership for $14.31 for 4 bulbs.
You said the foot well lights were “Blue” in the beginning of video but then at the very end you called the color “Aqua Blue”.
Which color is installed to match dash buttons , Blue or Aqua ? Thanks man , looks great 👍

Hey, I just left a message with the support team, the harness I received didn’t fit any of the ends on the wiring in my truck the way you showed. I have 2022 off road Tacoma. This is my first time doing any kind of DIY so I’m relying heavily on your videos. The packaging on kit says for “overhead console” connection only. I really just want the ones shown here.

Thank you to the support team for being patient with me. I first accused Tacomabeast of sending the wrong product but the error was mine. Please accept my sincerest apologies. I followed the instructions on how to do the upper console install and everything works. I plan to order the lights for the back seats after seeing how these hold up.
For a first time DIYer it was a bit scary doing this particular install but I took my time and got through it. Just one bit of advice: If you have the manual transmission off road as I do, you may not have all the wiring in the footwells as the automatics do due to the manuals having a little less technology. So I had to be a bit more strategic with how I “cleaned”up the excess wiring from the kit in the footwells. Also, I don’t think the upper console set up is easier than the previous, especially since you still have to go through the A pillar anyway. However, I’d say it’s VERY convenient having the footwells controlled by the upper console light switch. Thank you Tacomabeast, I’ll definitely continue supporting your channel and business.

I tried to take the bolt off of the A frame... but..for some reason I can't find my 10mm socket.
1st Gen Tacoma in the works? Hope so. Many specialty manufacturers ignore the 1st Gen but none of them I know of have Tacoma in their name.

I got a question so when I’m driving a night say I were to get red foot lights I could I brighten them to be on with out the vanity lights or some lights coming on?
They’re all wired together and have one level of brightness 🤙
I see that these are meant for 2016-2022, but would it work for 2023? I would assume things havent changed that significantly between 2022 and 2023

Hi TacomaBeast. I have a 2005 taco and I just tried to install the footwell kit(after finally receiving it after 2 months of waiting for them to ship it out) and there’s no place to install the “male” and “female” part into the A-pillar frame! Lol, there’s just a plain dark electrical grouping; not even an airbag, what the heck oh well lol. I guess it’s too old for all these mods, ugh. Only after I didn’t even receive the license plate lights either.
So there’s no “power source” to plug the “breakout harness” into. I don’t know if it’s the right terminology but those are the terms Mateo uses for the items I’m trying to explain. Let me know if anyone has any suggestions.

So I got this kit on my 2022 trd off road access cab. Followed your guide to the T. The footwell lights work but now my upper cabin lights (map, dome, vanity) don't work. Checked the 7.5A dome fuse under driver's side dash and it's fine... Any ideas?
Gonna probably take out the vled wire harness in the a-pillar hope it's not bad...

@@Sam18004 Yeah, the wire harness was defective. I ordered another one from VLEDS. They sell individual harnesses for $40. Got the new harness, dropped it in and it all worked perfectly. I got refunded the $40 for the new harness also.
2 part question: If installed either A. correctly or B. incorrectly, can this installation in any way cause the airbag to deploy improperly when in an accident?
These should not have any interference with the airbag at all

Hey Mat, you install one of the best mods you can get for the Taco but for interior mods you must go with the meso customs no brainer.
They don't sell it, they ain't gonna advertise it.
