    I love it! 🥰 But the point of a Murphy Bed is to hide it away when up. 😳 Yikes! 😂
    Edit: There’s a benefit to not having a boxed TV, which might not apply next to a door like that. TV’s die, need to be replaced, in a box, you are stuck with that specific size, which 4+ years later you might not be able to find a TV to match. If you want a bigger TV, you can’t just swap it out when it’s boxed.

    Terry - so question: Got our 2025 20.3, and they took your video to heart. That said, do you only have to change to lithium on the solar charger panel, or, as you mentioned, is there another procedure on the converter? We have the extra 200 watt solar panel. We only have the 100ah lithium (we will get the 200ah soon). FR only has the on-line manuals, so there has been some operator error already...lol. Thanks. Couch's RV Nation is putting on the MAXX Air on request as well as a starter kit. Thanks much. GOD Bless

      We still really like it. We've now taken a handful of shorter and longer trips.
      I tried to be very fair in my review. There are things we didn't love. But a lot of it was easily fixable.

    I have been looking at this No Bo 20.3, thanks for the review. How good does the standard solar work regarding recharging the batteries? Would the Un-Plugged Package be a good accessory? Safe travels.

    • @terranncegilmore
      @terranncegilmore  Рік тому +3

      We haven't gotten into a situation where I can speak on it. With 200 AH, we have enough battery to go days if necessary just running the fridge and a few lights.
      The unplugged package felt like a huge up charge.

    I live in the south and my NOBO was just too poorly insulated so we couldn’t keep it cool enough. Had to sell it but I did love the suspension.

      We're in Western NY, so far the heat hasn't been an issue. We're planning out the first weekend of November, so we'll see how it does in the cold.

      We just bought the 2023 20.4 and was hoping to cold weather camp on our property in the mountains of NC. It does get windy and cold. We just left and are heading back for a week in November. Forest river said not to under 32 degrees which is concerning.

      Forgot to add we are pretty rural and gravel off roads were a little rough. The Curt suspension is definitely not a gimmick nothing moved inside and towed great. I am towing with a 2020 F250 7.3 liter and was not happy going from 17mpg down to 7mpg in the hills and mountains then getting around 8.5mpg

  • @adamyore120

    Great vid! Our 19BH just got totaled out because of hail. We also have a family of five and were definitely outgrowing it, so the replacement will either be the R-Pod 203 or the NoBo 20.3. I know you liked that front window on the R-Pod. What made you ultimately choose the NoBo?

    • @terranncegilmore
      @terranncegilmore  8 місяців тому +1

      We were really very torn. The dealership had both on the lot, and we walked back and forth between the two for at least an hour.
      There are a few differences between the two.
      1. The R-Pod is like 8" narrower or so.
      2. The front window I mentioned.
      3. The cabinet color and finishes.
      4. Refrigerator is smaller in the R-Pod
      5. No curtains on the bunks
      We were worried that we were upgrading, and could end up wishing we had just gone with the bigger camper. The R-Pod is still at the dealership and is clearance priced. We've joked that we'd trade the NoBo for the R-Pod, it really was that close of a call between the two. The NoBo has a bit more of an "Offroad" vibe, whereas the R-Pod has more of a "Fancy" vibe.

    Thanks for doing this review. I have been looking at this unit. I love the suspension and the options you get. I have a couple of questions. I have a escalade with the 6.2. Just wondering if you are still getting squat with the WHD or any towing upgrades to the suburban? I do you take all the blocks with you when you camp or is that just your set up at home? Also do you have any thoughts on the roof racks? I was wondering if a roof rack tent would be optional on this thing just for when my boys want to be adventurous.

    • @terranncegilmore
      @terranncegilmore  Рік тому +1

      Thanks for the comment.
      My Suburban is the 6.2, I get around 10-ish MPGs towing. The truck has air suspension, which kicks on when it senses a load. So between that and the WDH, there is basically no squat. The back end drops less than a half inch.
      I have Lynx Levelers that stay in the camper for the support jacks.
      I cannot speak to a roof mounted tent. It is already pretty high up.

    • @worldwidewebbs8420
      @worldwidewebbs8420 Рік тому

      @@terranncegilmore Thanks! The caddy has the air leveling system, so we are basically on the same platform, minus I would rather have your tranny. Looking at how the rack tracks are installed, would you feel confident even using them for anything or would that worry you about issues later? I have reservations about TT roofs and not messing with them much.

    Terry, great video and highly appreciated. We are getting a new 2025 20.3 beast package. They apparently took one burner out of the stove (not a big deal) so that there is more counter space.
    Coupla' questions that I have from the comments below:
    1. is it insulated enough for below 32degrees?
    2. Also, have you used any kind of generator like a PREDATOR inverter which uses dual fuel? I like propane - better on the engine and no gas hauling.
    3. Do you need the blocks of wood for the leveling jacks, and, do you recommend wood under the tires when boondocking (tires sinking)? We plan on all boondocking.
    4. What was the price for the lithium setup, and, can the dealer do that as some do? If you get the lithium, how much more power does that give you versus the lead-acid? Thanks very much - really appreciate the video. GOD Bless

      @@sandypidgeon4343 Thanks for the comment!
      1. I cannot say. We've camped in the Fall in Western NY, but below freezing.
      2. I have a Ryobi inverter generator that we've used, but not dual fuel
      3. I have plastic blocks that we use while camping under the jacks. The wood is just to distribute weight on the driveway. I have plastic recovery boards I keep in the pass through that we could use if the ground was soft, but I've never had to.
      4. Our Lithium battery is a 200AH Lossigy I bought on Amazon. I'd have to check when they go for now, we got it on sale. I've found the lead-acid batteries to be almost useless. We're able to go a few days on just the battery with the solar panel to help.

      @@terranncegilmore Terry, thanks very much for the quick comeback! My wife was taking notes! I am retired military, so camping never appealed to me as it was usually on the ground with a poncho cradling my weapon..lol. That said, we are pretty excited about this move. Two last questions: 1. Did you send your video to Forest River? Those comments are very pertinent, and the guys we talked to today were very interested in feedback. Lastly, was there any physical mod you had to make for the lithium? I know the industry is going to lithium as an option. Again, thanks very much. The cold question is for going into the Shenandoah during the late fall, so thanks again. My wife loved the feedback as did I! GOD Bless
