Commenting for the Algorithms. Great content and I'd love to see more BDRs! Commentary is great, it'd be nice to see more of the camping side as well. Cheers! Keep up the good work!
Haha thanks for those algorithm boosts! Yes I had meant to do a lot more camping stuff on this trip but just ran outta gusto. I will do more in the future for sure!
When we passed the rocks on French Cr. Grade, the temps went up above 125 degrees, then back down once we passed it. Then the next one, same deal. Crazy!
I really is an amazing state! That being said the Chilcotin a little closer to home has very similar terrain and views but Idaho is a beast of its own for sure.
Hahaha!! I changed my mind...I want to do the Idaho BDR instead of Washington. Love these Idaho videos. Would love to chat and pick your brain on planning etc. I'm up in Edmonton and will be meeting my bro law in BC. He's on the Island too.
Idaho is a very cool BDR. I did the WABDR and this one back to back so I got the full experience. Absolutely I am always open to questions, let me know how best to get in touch. I have a discord channel if you are familiar with that program, super easy to communicate with.
@@jeffbone8475 yep give a second to grab it and I'll link it here. Won't be able to chat for the next couple days assuming you keep a normal sleep schedule as I'm working 3rd shift but you can DM me there for a quicker response!
Enjoying your Idaho BDR videos. Im not sure why riding fast thru the prettiest forest is necessary?? For me I stop and smell the roses. If I rode fast as hell all ya remember is getting gas. I always ride fast home but it great be be out in them Mountains.. stay safe.
Heavily edited for "excitement" lol we stopped a bunch but I totally get your drift. That day in particular we were running behind as one of the guys had to head back earlier.
from my understanding I guess there was an issue at some point with a group doing the BDR and now they only allow multi night books making it pretty useless to try and stay at if you're passing through Otherwise its good to go?
When did you 3 guys ride the route last summer? Our group of 3 did in the last week of July and the little crossing where the road was closed south of Lowman sure didn't look like what you saw - it was much more of a hole that you drop into and climb out of rather than the less technical conditions that you guys encountered (and wondered why the heck the road was closed).
August, it was definitely a steep climb out but nothing that would stop bikes. I've heard early season the water gets going pretty good, that's the only thing I could think that would be different. Go pro makes stuff look pretty mellow sometimes

Well done - your commentary is spot on. I hope your channel grows!
Thanks man! Been a rough winter for riding content and I'm not the best at making filler videos so hopefully more this summer! Fingers crossed!
Gr8 ride! Thanks for this!
I'm glad I found this series. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks man
@@OverPenAdventures Watching the Magruder now. I swear this year I'll make it there with my truckcamper. Cheers again.

Love your videos! My son and I would like to ride this soon!
Hey thanks very much dude! It's an awesome ride, even better with your son!
Man those views, What a sweet ride OP
Binge watching your videos tonight from NE Washington.
Haha awesome! Glad you are enjoying them! I had a great time in WA as well, beauty state.
Looks like a blast man. Good job on the editing of it.
Yup! 3 vids in and it’s painfully obvious: I NEED TO RIDE IDAHO! 👍🏻😜

Looks like I need to get up to Idaho this summer instead of roasting in the desert. I have been enjoying your Idaho BDR series.
Its worth a trip for sure although I'm sure you have some great stuff down there as well!

Good videos, whats up with Burgdorf?

That's some beautiful country! How did you find the other two guys to ride along with?
I had just met them but it worked out awesome! They improved a ton over the ride and just sent me photos of them doing the Lockhart basin in Utah!
EXCELLENT FOOTAGE!!!! Great video dude!! How happy are you with that quad lock phone holder? Any camera issues after using it?
Not a one, works perfectly. This is a Google pixel 4. iPhone might be different
@@OverPenAdventures perfect. I think I’ll try one, due for an upgrade on my cell phone plan this year so if it messes it up, oh well lol. Thanks!!

Right on!! What’s the difficulty level for an experienced average solo rider? 🏕🤙🍻
I wouldn't be worried. Nothing you haven't seen before.
