Didn't even know these sort of products were out there. Bloke I have lessons with uses Flightscope, and it's decent stuff... Slight difference in the 15k his costs to this though. Definitely going to give it a look! Great vid as always Bernie. Every day golfer making content for the every day golfer, not trying to boggle everyone with too much info, just what we want to know!

Have the Mevo Plus which has the pro package. It’s proved to be as accurate as the top end Flightscope launch monitors at many times the price. It’s still small enough to fit in the stand bag for the range to do gapping or practice. The only launch monitor I’d change it for would be the Foresight GC3 but then I don’t have £7.5k doing nothing.
I totally agree with you. For what I need and what my budget is, this will do the job!
Great review - I have used the MEVO for quite a long time and love it. It's worth selecting which club you are using as it seems to improve accuracy, something to do with the flight window it looks at apparently!! I also have the spin number up as using range balls a lot of the time and that obviously makes a difference even if you can set it to range balls. Overall a great practice tool for an amateur for whom to much data would just mess me up!!

I find it quite amazing that little device can provide that amount of detail! Price is definitely reasonable too. As long as it’s fairly accurate it seems like a great product that many golfers would learn from. I was worried the little bunched up part of the rope behind you and infront of the device would mess it up, but it didn’t. Thanks for the info Lester!
Thanks for watching Tyler. It does what I want / need and no issues so far. I’m yet to test driver with it or try it in the net.

Good review Lester👍🏻. I have the swing caddie SC4 which is the latest model and I really like it. I don’t use the simulator software side, I just use it for club distances more than anything. I had the swing caddie 300i before this one and loved that model too.
I’m the same Paul, using them in there purest form.
Awesome review, Bernie! I'm amazed by what it can do for how small and inexpensive it is. It would be great to have one to do a gapping test of the irons I'm in the process of buying.
I’ll do that too Howie and test it with a driver as that seems to be an issue or one that’s being mentioned.

I have and like my Garmin R1O launch monitor but good to see your exposition of the Mevo which as you showed is pretty good for the price. All I need to do is to take my shots from the practise session onto the course, is there a gizzmo which helps with that which you can review as if so I will buy one pdq 🤣
Issue I’ve got David is if I found that gizmo I’m not sure I’d want to share it mate 😂 😂

@@berniebarnesgolf you could use your repair skills to custom make wierd wedge designs from old 2nd hand wedges.. Different face inserts.. Rubber.. Copper..sandpaper.. Hard wood ect... The repairs vids are good too.. You cud put together a good repair set on a workbench..make some videos showing how you customised the clubs.. Club refurbishment videos are cool aswel

Good review Bernie I’ve got a launch monitor it’s called the ES12 but I’ve not tried it yet.
I just think all the ones I’ve looked at are far to expensive for me,I don’t know if this one I’ve got will be any good.
To be honest I’ve been waiting for the weather to pick up more before I go and spend time on the range and I need to use a range where I can play off the grass with the balls I use otherwise I don’t think it’s worth it using range balls and off mate.

I’m in a similar situation to you David and think this one will do what I need it too.
Got the mevo+. I would say if you can stretch to go for that, 1900 and you basically get a trackman.
The trackman is an impressive bit of kit mate
Personally i would want club path and attack angle from a launch monitor. This is ok for working out distances but one trip to the range could do that.
I don’t have a range that has decent balls or a launch monitor unfortunately, so this is perfect for me.

No backspin? I have a PRGR which gives great numbers but at a $200 price, no phone or data storage though, so want to upgrade with spin numbers and store my data.
I just started to look into the Mevo and the previous generation Rapsodo.
I think you can update it or buy a package that shows that mate. I literally bought the entry level model as that’s all I could really afford.

Might be worth putting instructions on every other video on how to make a Google account sign into UA-cam and subscribe to your channel. Even though its 2024 not everyone finds it as easy setting things up. My Mum for example would just search your name and watch and repeat...she's subscribed now 😁👍

Separate video maybe, then when you ask to hit subscribe tell them there is a video on your channel how to sign up. I tell a lot of people to sub to their favourite UA-cam channels but it's making a Google account and pairing their TV that puts them off...until I go round for a brew and do it for them 😁

Bernie. Interesting review but you really do need to improve how you present. Clearly just reading the box, forgetting your driver, cracked screen on your phone and not showing the app on your phone plus inability to read anything your showing on your phone. Just not very progressional and not what your expected from a channel. Sorry
