The songwriters won a Grammy award for this, obviously. When they accepted the Grammy, they choked up and told a true story. A little girl was dying of cancer, lost her hair to chemo. She was worried that if she died, Jesus wouldn't love her because she was bald. She heard this song, and found peace. She said that if Randy Travis could love her and not her hair, then maybe Jesus could too. She died peacefully shortly later.
@teriwilkinson7816 Did you see on CBS Sunday morning he and his producers have found a way to help him with a new song? And he and his wife are lovely together 🥰
This what most country fans want to hear on the radio. But unfortunately they're getting harder to find these days. Best bet if you like this style is to look around on UA-cam for independent artists. Country is just pop or rock today with a southern accent. Miss what country was and still should be. Randy is the man. So sad what happened to him but glad he pulled through!
Welcome to quickly becoming a country music fan! I love 90s country so much! Randy has a number of religious songs that all manage to be really touching without seeming corny at all. At the rate we're going with your country music discovery, the next BP album is gonna be a country record!
I remember one of Randy's first TV appearances after his stroke...I think it was Grand Ole Opry. They had a male singer sing this song, then at the very end they handed it over to Randy, who managed a great "Aaaaamen". Bless him.
BP, have you ever heard of “tear in your beer” music? That’s what Country Music does. It gets all up in your emotions and then it lets you cry your eyeballs out of your head.
You can't go wrong with 80's and 90's country. Randy Travis, George Strait, Alan Jackson, Brooks and Dunn, Alabama....the list goes on and go. Listen to Randy Travis's "Three Wooden Crosses", that one will make you cry. Us country music fans are the most loyal you'll ever find.
Randy Bruce Traywick is his birth name. He told his wife that it was too long to put on the records, so he changed it to a shorter last name "Travis" Randy Travis is literally the epitome of classic country music. He has been a part of my childhood growing up and will forever be one of the greatest. In 2013 he was hospitalized with viral cardiomyopathy, a virus that attacks the heart, and later suffered a stroke. He had to relearn how to walk, spell and read in the years that followed and his wife stayed by his side through it all. He even talks about how his fellow country music artists would visit him over the years and supported him as he overcame all the obstacles in his life. Doctors basically said he'd never make it, let alone walk, talk, or sing BUT even though he's not completely as he was before, he's still walking, talking, and recently with the help of AI has released a new song. Never say never, because God is in the miracle business.
I'm 39, my dad is 74 dying of cancer, my mother, 72, had a stroke in front of me last Thursday as she was trying to tell me a story about my 18 yr old cat trying to get my dad to pet her head with his arm hanging off the couch while he was taking a nap. She just couldn't finish her words and looked at me with this embarrassed look, so I pushed my emotions to the back of my head where they belong as a son now caring for his elderly parents, and I smiled at her and said mom let's go inside and get you something cold to drink.....Her and my father have been married 50 yrs last November. And they still respect each other, still love each other. Another day last week my dad was napping on the couch as he's fighting lung disease along with his cancer from working in a factory without a respirator, he has little stamina, and my mother was sitting beside him on a stool holding his hand gently rubbing his head while crying. Watching your parents slowly die sucks, but I'm sure it's that much harder for her as she watched her father die the same way when she was 20. I am however thankful I had two parents who loved me and still do and were patient with this wild dyslexic against the grain Appalachian son. And I'm grateful for each day I have the honor to serve them as the Bible commands we do with our elders. Great song, great reaction
God bless you honey. My Mom and Dad were married 61 years when she passed away from cancer. Daddy missed her so much that 3 years later he stopped taking a his medicine was admitted to the hospital and signed his own DNR and passed a week later. It's absolutely so heart breaking to watch your elderly parents die before your eyes.
My Father passed away at home from cancer 13 years ago. We watched him waste away and it was so hard to witness. But, my Brother-in-law lost his Mom when he was out of town and it was sudden. He said he didn’t know which was hardest, slowly dying but surrounded by your loved ones while they also suffer and grieve through it, or it just gets slapped straight in your face. I’ve had it both ways, and I still cannot answer the question. God bless you and your family and may he give you comfort and peace.
Oh my goodness I was so touched reading this and can completely relay as I just lost my mum two weeks ago and my dad has terminal lung cancer cancer.Thet we’re together for 72 years. My poor dad is in bits with grief and we have mums funeral on Friday🥹Sending hugs xx
Through the 1970s and early 80s, country music took a turn towards more pop and rock. Artists like Randy Travis, Dwight Yoakum and Vince Gill started bringing it back to its roots.
Randy Travis suffered a very bad stroke a few years back, he's just getting his voice back to sing again. He has been through a lot, and I know his family but also his many, many friends have prayed for him and the Good Lord has listened.......AMEN.
Randy was a storyteller. Every song was a story. Country was and is for everyone. We need to through out the division and let’s get back to the 70’s and 80’s. We didn’t care as long as it was good
This is the song I want to be played for my first dance with my future wife. When I first heard this song a long time ago I remember thinking, "oh this is so getting played at my wedding." and that this song cemented itself as my favorite country song ever with Randy Travis becoming my favorite country artist. His music is literal art put into words and I haven't seen many other people do that.
"I Told You So". Pure heartbreak set to music. In Randy's rich baritone with his puppy dog eyes the entire video -- man or woman listening -- you don't have a soul if it doesn't move you. Period.
Have a listen to Randy Travis "Deeper than the Holler" for another great live song from this outstanding artist. "3 Wooden Crosses" his hard by him as well
Randy Travis is the salt of the earth, man. I loved this song as a kid, and I still listen to it to this day. "Deeper Than the Holler" is another really great love song of his. He is a classic, for sure.
My mom loved Randy Travis, I like you, hated on country music and wouldn't give it a chance, but I remember hearing this song and numerous others of his playing in the house.
My husband went bald and I still loved him. Then when I had cancer he stuck by me and what little bit of hair he did have he shaved off for me. He died from a heart attack in 2021. My hair grew back with a vengeance! Double thick!
It IS a classic! Every one of us has seen this at a wedding, a funeral or a family get-together and if you haven't been there then you've seen it in a movie or on TV. Unfortunately, this is what we are losing 😢
The next song by Randy Travis should be "Three Wooden Crosses" ......it is also a song that you will not forget, and has so much meaning. (His voice is stellar, and holds up in all the songs I have ever heard him sing.)
Randy Travis' voice was amazing. He had a stroke and hasn't been able to sing. But he just released a new song with the help of AI - Where That Came From. Check out Deeper Than the Holler, Better Class of Loser, Diggin' Up Bones. I Told You So, 1982, On the Other Hand, It's Just a Matter of Time. Randy's songs are almost neverending. In the 80's and 90's there was also a young man by the name of Tracy Lawrence who had a long string of hits: Alibis, Sticks and Stones, Texas Tornado, Time Marches On, Paint Me a Birmingham, Today's Lonely Fool, How a Cowgirl Says Goodbye, Runnin' Behind, Can't Break it to My Heart, I See it Now, Tracy was shot 4 times in a mugging in Nashville just before his first album was released. A lifelong friend had come to celebrate with him and he was dropping her off at her hotel when three men surrounded them and took their money and keys. When they asked what room they were in, Tracy realized this was not just a robbery. Fearing for their lives, he attacked the man that was holding a gun to his head. The other two focused on shooting at him, allowing his friend to run for help. He was shot in his finger, hip, knee and arm. One bullet came within a fraction of an inch from killing him. I never knew this until a few years ago. Quite a brave guy.
Randy Travis, with the album containing this song, caused an entire movement in country music that was called "new traditionalism". It shaped the direction of country for about a decade until Garth Brooks came around.
To me, Randy has the ultimate male Country voice, and he has no bad songs ❤ I think you'll enjoy "He Walked on Water" next. Also, his first Gospel album is phenomenal!
He Walked on Water was my 1st favorites of his & he is my favorite gospel musician. ❤ I was able to share a Forever and Ever Amen love for 32 years with my husband until he passed away from cancer in September 2021. I thank God for blessings us to know true love! His response was beautiful and I’m glad he was blessed with loving parents!
Randy Travis was and still is a treasure to both Country and Gospel music. You should check out Josh Turner. He was mentored by Randy Travis. And even after Randy Travis had a stroke that left him largely unable to speak or sing Josh Turner would sometimes invite him onto stage to sing a part from Randy's songs with him. He even recorded a version of this song that has Randy Travis singing at the end. Thankfully with the help of AI Randy got his voice back and released a new song titled Where That Came From. Being able to see him happy, in the studio, doing what he loves again has left a lot of fans crying.
Randy Travis has one of those voices you cannot mistaken for another. He had a stroke a few years ago that effected his motor skills, his wife is still by his side and has helped him tremendously. He now goes to award shows, parties with limited ability to talk. He is so courageous and keeps on pushing to get better. He is a beautiful human being. I'm so happy you liked this wonderful song...Randy Travis will always be one of my favorite country artists. I pray he is able to bless us with his voice some day again.....
Here are three country story songs that are amazing: 1) Randy Travis - 3 Wooden Crosses 2) Tim McGraw - Don't Take the Girl 3) Martina McBride - Concrete Angel Keep the reactions coming. Love watching you videos.
Lost my husband 2 years ago and it still seems like yesterday. Cancer sucks. He also dealt with it 16 years. We were married in 1984 after dating for 6 years. Music is my constant late at night when I can’t sleep. He loved just about every kind of music out there, came home from work one day and found him and our daughter, who was about 4 at the time, with headphones on and listening to Bach. Did the same with our second daughter. Music was a huge part of our lives. There is something for every feeling you have…even some you don’t know you have. Thanks for going back- the ride is wonderful!
#1 on Billboard's Hot Country Hits in 1987 for multiple weeks. Randy has a great catalog. He was one of the hottest country stars in the mid to late 80's. You would love He Walked on Water as many have mentioned.
This is an all time classic and was probably played at most weddings back in the day. I bet in parts of this country this song is still played at weddings.
Oh my goodness. Your story hits home so much. I had breast cancer (2010) when I was 38 and went through so many things that changed me. My husband was with me through every step. Losing my hair, losing both of my breasts, sick from chemo, burnt from radiation, hysterectomy to remove all "hot spots". We hit 28 years of marriage in August. Through everything, he never made me feel like anything less than beautiful. I'm glad you got see that first hand, and am sure your children will be able to say the same.
I love me some Randy Travis. My parents listened to country music, so I grew up with it. I went a different way, but these old 80’s country songs will always be a part of me. Randy Travis was one of the greats until stroke took his voice away.
He is considered one of the greats. I saw a CBS report recently where he’s going to be able to release new music utilizing AI (too complicated to explain!) his voice is incredible
Yeah, his first song in over a decade is out now - "Where That Came From." It's a beautiful song. They have said he is working on his next one already.
This song was written by Paul Over street and Don Schlitz, who wrote many great songs together. If you really want to hear Randy go low, check out " It's Just a Matter of Time"!
My grandparents were married for 62 years and my parents just celebrated their 67th anniversary! My sister is getting ready to celebrate her 39th anniversary (I wasn’t so lucky) so it really does still happen!!
He had stroke a few years ago and can’t talk now. But I heard on the radio that due to the power of AI he was able with the help of others to release a new song this week.
Smooth like melted butter. Don't care much for most country music. Never have. But love every one of Randy Travis' songs. Best voice ever. Sounds effortless on his part.
Back in the day- When my husbands hair was falling out from chemo- I sang this to him...."honey i dont care- I aint in love with your hair".... THIS is truth.
Randy was washing dishes in a catfish-centric restaurant when he was "discovered" by some 'high & mighty' record exec... and the rest, as they say, is history... His unique voice, which allowed him to 'sing' in the tenor range but **resonate** when he dipped down low, secured his place in country music history! Blessed Be, & Peace! 🙏☮
I met my husband when I was 16. Got married at 17. Been married for 39 years. College was never something I wanted. I want a family and marriage. I married with the understanding that this is for life ( so long nothing horrible). I have no regrets. 4 kids, 7 grandkids and 1 on the way. Btw, I'm 57. Love this song. People don't take vows serious anymore and it's heartbreaking.
Randy Travis is amazing. This is actually my and my husband’s song. Been together going on 25 years this July. My parents would have been married 50 years this past march we unfortunately lost my dad 3 years ago this past November and the love my mom still has for my dad is remarkable. ❤❤❤❤
The first time I ever heard Randy Travis voice. He was doing a Folgers commercial and I fell in love with that voice ever since. He doesn’t sing anymore as he had a stroke years ago what a voice what a voice.
Randy Bruce Traywick (born May 4, 1959), known professionally as Randy Travis, is an American country music and gospel music singer and songwriter, as well as a film and television actor. Active since 1979, he has recorded over 20 studio albums and charted over 50 singles on the Billboard Hot Country Songs charts, including sixteen that reached the number-one position.
I think you should hear “Jerusalems cry “ it’s what we are living today and as a Christian I think you will understand. I told you so… is another very moving song from Randy Travis
He is still with his wife and he had a devastating stroke, we never thought he would be back and this last year he is back, and she has been by his side thru everything. Listen to his song this last one.
I drove what should’ve been a 3.5 hour ride in a snowstorm to see him, but I got there just in time to hear the announcer say “That was Randy Travis”. I was heartbroken, but I got to see Conway Twitty, who Randy was opening for (and who you should also check out). I did get to see him several times since, thankfully. Just listening to this video had me in tears. Love this song. Love Randy. “On The Other Hand” and “Diggin’ Up Bones” are favorites of mine. 💜💜💜
Like I said earlier, my husband and I have been married for 45 years. We have had our ups and downs. He was a policeman for 30 years which caused him to have PTSD, anxiety and depression and at one time suicidal thoughts. Things are a bit better now. He has had jaw surgery due to a car accident, now has heart issues, Atrial Fibleration, has been diagnosed with Vascular Dementia and on Valentine’s Day of this year, fell and broke his femur and femur head and had to have a partial hip replacement. I was by his side everyday and support him. As the dementia gets worse, there will be challenges, but we will deal with it. I am a 14 year breastfeeding cancer survivor. Had mastectomy, chemotherapy, radiation and a year of Herceptin treatment. I lost my hair after my first chemo and went onto instant menopause. He was with me from the day of diagnosis until the day I rang the bell signalling my last treatment, 16 months after diagnosis. He shaved his head, although he didn’t have much hair to start with. He was my rock. I also suffer with depression and anxiety which comes and goes in waves. The worst thing in our lives was death of our daughter, our one and only child. She was a beautiful, smart 34 year old who died in 2015 from undiagnosed Pancreatitis, until it was too late. She was a university graduate with a double major in Criminology and Psychology. She worked in a residence for teens who were high risk, some parents had surrendered them to social services or had been in foster care and were in crisis. She loved it and had compassion for these kids. She was 9 months away from getting married to her soul mate, we had everything booked and paid for. We will never have the joy of grandchildren. We still have her fiancé in our life, as he came from an abusive family and we are the only parents he knows. People will often say, how can you be so strong through all this. (If only they knew how my heart hurts without my daughter and watching my husband deteriorate). I have no choice. My husband and I made that vow when we got married. What has gotten us through this is the love and respect we have for each other and the Grace of God Almighty. We believe that he walks with us or carries us when going through the hardest times of our lives. Our daughter’s favourite poem was Footprints, which says in our times of trouble there is only one set of footprints because Jesus is carrying us on his shoulders. Amen. Sorry to dump this on you, but listening to that song triggered something in me. Thanks for listening. I will leave you with one last thought about Grace: G-God’s R-Reward A-At C-Christ E-Expense
My maternal grandparents were married for over 30yrs. It would have been longer except my grandmother died at 57 from heart failure. My grandfather lived for another 15yrs and never remarried. My paternal grandparents were married for 61yrs. They died about 5 minutes apart. My grandfather had a stroke while driving. We pushed their hospital beds together and put their hands together. They passed while holding hands after we took them off life support. My dad has been married for over 30 yrs now. And my mom finally found a good one for her and they've been going strong for 15yrs. Sister #1 is at 19yrs, I'm at 18yrs, Sister #2 is at 15yrs, Brother is at 12yrs. We've all had our ups and downs in our relationships but our grandparents are our example and our goal. Love is both the easiest and the hardest thing.
My parents were married 61 years before my dad passed of cancer and at 94 she’s still misses him every day. She’s the rock of our family…. My marriage is 34 years and this is what I hope for my three girls …. Luckily they all have amazing partners and we are blessed with 4 wonderful grandchild that I get to see weekly
I heard this was an actual wedding party and they let Randy film this video at the reception . He’s my favorite male country artist but please listen to I told you so . My all time favorite of his
I met my husband when I was 15 and a single mom. He was 35 and had been married 3 times before I met him. Everyone said it wouldn’t work out but he showed me what real love is and we have been together for 45 years on the 10th of May. I have cancer now and he is still working at 80 years old so we can afford my medical care.
I met my husband 2 wks after I turned 25 and he was 42, he was married twice before and had 4 kids, I had 1. Everybody said no way we'd make it! We added another child to the mix😂 we raised all 6 plus 3 grandbabies. We were together 43 years and had our 40th anniversary a couple months before he passed. Our headstone reads" They Said it Wouldn't Last" 😂 I'll be buried in the same plot with him. ❤
@@sandralybrand9425 oh I heard this too. He was married three times before me and all ended because the previous wives cheated “ because he worked to much “and none of the kids were actually my husbands biologically. We have been together for 45 years now and counting , although I have stage four cancer. He will probably outlive me.
Can't go wrong with any Randy Travis songs ❤ Dwight Yokam is another great country singer with a very distinctive voice. Saw him in concert in 2017, a couple of months before seeing Kenny Rogers.
You can listen to any randy travis song and feel emotional. Not just his lyrics but the way he delivers it.
Can't dig out of the hole!
He has a song for everything I mean everything
Wanted to thank you for your reactions and speaking from the heart. I'm an older, white, conservative, christian, born and raised Tennessee boy. I appreciate what your doing and hope more people continue to support this channel. We need more of you speaking to the truth. Amen brother.

Randy Travis "He walked in Water" and "3 Wooden Crosses". These are two songs that are worth a reaction. They will hit you hard in the emotions.
Oh yes I love those songs
He has lots of great songs, he walked on water is the greatest in my opinion.
My favorite Randy Travis song is remember when👍👍
So true. Be ready to get hit in the feels.
Don't forget Diggin up Bones!!
The songwriters won a Grammy award for this, obviously. When they accepted the Grammy, they choked up and told a true story.

If he wouldn't have had a devastating stroke at such a young age, I think that he would have continued to be a force in the music industry.
@teriwilkinson7816 Did you see on CBS Sunday morning he and his producers have found a way to help him with a new song? And he and his wife are lovely together 🥰
💯
I miss Randy Travis. He was devastated by that stroke.
Young age? He was 54
@@wampatan954 isn't exactly old.

Randy has a number of religious songs that all manage to be really touching without seeming corny at all. At the rate we're going with your country music discovery, the next BP album is gonna be a country record!
I'm happy you've discovered traditional country music.
No one has a voice like Randy Travis.
Randy’s catalog is deep. Lots of great songs including “Deeper than the Holler,” “Three Wooden Crosses,” “Digging up Bones.” He’s worth a listen
I love digging up bones..
I remember one of Randy's first TV appearances after his stroke...I think it was Grand Ole Opry. They had a male singer sing this song, then at the very end they handed it over to Randy, who managed a great "Aaaaamen". Bless him.
i believe the singer who sang the song was Bradley Walker, but it was so awesome to see Randy sing the Amen after what he had been through
Diggin Up Bones, 1982, Three Wooden Crosses, and you will probably like He Walked On Water...this guy was huge in the 80s and 90s.
Wow for real ? I
So old ! I had it pegged in early 90s😮
He walked on water a tear jerker but it's awesome!
Are we going to convert you ?????????? Country music is deep!!! Randy Travis is CLASSIC COUNTRY. So glad to hear someone say that this music is good.
Randy Travis is the King of classic country
BP, have you ever heard of “tear in your beer” music? That’s what Country Music does. It gets all up in your emotions and then it lets you cry your eyeballs out of your head.

Oh honey, it’s definitely a classic. Randy Travis has been a treasure for a long time and you just gave him a wonderful reaction video. Thank you
Travis was in National Treasure 2 (Book of Secrets) playing himself and singing at the White House.

Probably the most recognizable voice ever in country music, and his style was so easy and smooth.
“On the other hand” is another great song
I Thought He Walked On Water...I Told You So, AND, On The Other Hand are 3 of my absolute favorites of Randy Travis!!❤🎉 3:01
"3 Wooden Crosses" his hard by him as well
My husband loved me through my bald head from chemo. You talking about your dad's devotion had me crying this am.
The lines about old men and old women always gets me ❤
Randy Travis is the salt of the earth, man.
I'm so sorry. Thank God for your love and inspiration for the rest of us
❤❤ to you and your family.
It IS a classic! Every one of us has seen this at a wedding, a funeral or a family get-together and if you haven't been there then you've seen it in a movie or on TV. Unfortunately, this is what we are losing 😢
Please dive into the Randy Travis catalog, you won’t be disappointed
The next song by Randy Travis should be "Three Wooden Crosses" ......it is also a song that you will not forget, and has so much meaning.
(His voice is stellar, and holds up in all the songs I have ever heard him sing.)
I can’t listen to Three Wooden Crosses anymore, I’m tearing up as I write this.
In the 80's and 90's there was also a young man by the name of Tracy Lawrence who had a long string of hits: Alibis, Sticks and Stones, Texas Tornado, Time Marches On, Paint Me a Birmingham, Today's Lonely Fool, How a Cowgirl Says Goodbye, Runnin' Behind, Can't Break it to My Heart, I See it Now,
Tracy was shot 4 times in a mugging in Nashville just before his first album was released.
Wow, that is quite a story. Brave indeed.
Randy Travis, with the album containing this song, caused an entire movement in country music that was called "new traditionalism". It shaped the direction of country for about a decade until Garth Brooks came around.
To me, Randy has the ultimate male Country voice, and he has no bad songs ❤
I think you'll enjoy "He Walked on Water" next.
There's bad country, there's good country, & there's Randy Travis!
Randy Travis “three wooden crosses “ as my husband sits here and fights prostrate cancer. We are celebrating 50 years in June!!!
I pray he is able to bless us with his voice some day again.....
one of the biggest male country stars of the 80s ..
One of the best country singers of all time!
Here are three country story songs that are amazing:
1) Randy Travis - 3 Wooden Crosses
2) Tim McGraw - Don't Take the Girl
3) Martina McBride - Concrete Angel
Keep the reactions coming. Love watching you videos.
Honey, you just barely got your toes wet. The country genre is deep and wide.
check out Craig Morgan "This aint nothin'" hope your ready
@@lilpoohbear653 I love Craig Morgan . my favorite tear jerking song is "The Father My Son and The Holy Spirit"
Randy Travis is a legend. Digging up bones. On the other hand. Three wooden crosses.
If I Didn't Have You , Deeper Than the Holler, Heroes and Friends ❤❤❤
He, almost single handedly, saved the country music industry, in the mid 80s.
Yes he did!
For sure:)
I say Amen every day of my life, my friend. We're out here praisin' the Lord, I promise.
He was discovered while washing dishes in a diner while singing. He suffered a major stroke years ago- can’t hardly speak. All his music is good.
If you do 3 Wooden Crosses brace yourself for the emotion, I've heard it a thousand times and I still cry Every time!
Me, too! EVERY time!
A man that stands by his wife no matter what, your dad sounds like a great man.
Smooth country butter. That's his voice. Beautiful.
Randy was part of a movement in country music that brought the old sound back. Poetry and steel guitars. Love it
This song has NEVER made me emotional! Watching you be emotional, got me emotional.........AMEN!!
Back in the day- When my husbands hair was falling out from chemo- I sang this to him...."honey i dont care- I aint in love with your hair".... THIS is truth.
To me, Randy Travis has always had the most soothing country voice
Randy was washing dishes in a catfish-centric restaurant when he was "discovered" by some 'high & mighty' record exec... and the rest, as they say, is history... His unique voice, which allowed him to 'sing' in the tenor range but **resonate** when he dipped down low, secured his place in country music history! Blessed Be, & Peace! 🙏☮
“I Told you So”. It’s a beautiful song but definitely a tear jerker!
Randy don't miss!! He's Phenomenal!! ❤ P. S. My grandparents were married 70 years! My grandma just passed at 90 yrs old!!
I married my husband when I was sixteen and he was eighteen. That was forty three years ago and I would love to make it forty three more
Randy Travis is amazing. This is actually my and my husband’s song. Been together going on 25 years this July. My parents would have been married 50 years this past march we unfortunately lost my dad 3 years ago this past November and the love my mom still has for my dad is remarkable. ❤❤❤❤
This is the purest music video ever created.
He IS risen, brother… and He is coming back. Soon. Gotta teach our kids. Congrats on the new one coming! May she be healthy and happy.
Me and you say AMEN and always will till we leave this world.
I can tell by you speaking from your heart. The world needs more of it again!!!
Randy Travis, Clint Black, and Garth Brooks were my favorite country singers in the 80s & 90s.
I will leave you with one last thought about Grace:
G-God’s
R-Reward
A-At
C-Christ
E-Expense
Songs are just lyrical poems, and Randy Travis is one of the greatest poets of his generation
This was this song my husband and I danced our 1st dance to at our wedding in 1996. I got to keep him as my forever and ever until 2007.
THIS is REAL country and it’s amazing!!!!!!!!
I heard this was an actual wedding party and they let Randy film this video at the reception . He’s my favorite male country artist but please listen to I told you so . My all time favorite of his
Another heart warming song is Check Yes Or No by George Strait. Randy Travis and George Strait are 2 of the greatest out there!!
He is a real man.
I love the lines: "hair turns gray... I'm not in love with your hair; if you lost it all, i'd love you anyway."
Sounds like your dad is a class act! And obviously, that apple didn't fall far from the tree! 😎👍
Can't go wrong with any Randy Travis songs ❤
Dwight Yokam is another great country singer with a very distinctive voice. Saw him in concert in 2017, a couple of months before seeing Kenny Rogers.
My aunt was his snd Ricky’s babysitter when they were kids. Randy is a pure original. His real name is Randy Traywick.
