Eaton Fuller transmissions, at least some do, have an alternate position for the speed sensor on the tail housing. After having a speed sensor go bad on mine and losing the operation of my Jake Brakes along with cruise and the speedometer, I purchased two sensors, one for each position so if that ever happened again, I could just slide under the truck and unplug from one and into the other and carry on.
My favorite is when snow gets all in there and mid-snow storm your ABS light comes on and you know from that point on you better drive slow and steady. Happened on my F-150.

its kinda crazy the tone wheel is just hanging out in the open like that
