I once was a camp counselor along with a bunch of other college students for a summer. It was rewarding work, but exhausting too, because it hurts to work with kids who need good guidance and to not be adequate to the job, or to just be adequate for that week and then you send them home probably never to see them again. When asked by the head counselor if I would be returning for the next year's camp I said no.
