Lily my first and favourite Christine!! I got to see her twice at his majesty’s theatre and Lily was phenomenal!! I even got to take a picture with her at stage door and she was so nice and sweet ! But this sound quality does not do her voice justice!! Anyone criticising should go see her sing in person before judging! Her acting and singing, especially wishing, will blow your mind.

What an incredible cast! Raoul (Joe Griffiths-Brown) is amazing. Beautiful. Have seen the show about 12 times. It is and always will be a magical experience.
One of the best casts I've seen. And that's saying a lot because I've been visiting London for 20 years now. I've seen literally dozens of actors playing these roles (Phantom, Christine, Raoul). It's a rare thing to have THREE strong actors in the leading roles.
Great job! It’s always difficult taking a cast out of an intimate theatre setting and putting them in an open air environment. Bringing musical theatre to the masses. 👍🏻
I've seen the show three days ago and i'm still SO in love, i just can't get over how awesome it was. The whole cast was simply amazing. Joe really is the perfect Raul, a true prince charming with a hint of sassyness. And Lily Kerhoas is the best thing i've ever had the luck to see and hear. She was absolutely perfect, and not only her voice - her acting was beyond. I've seen PtO few times in different versions and i've never felt for Christin this hard. Also she and Joe have amazing chemistry. It was an absolute delight and pure joy to be able to experience this. 💖
What an amazing three performances, everyone was phenomenal. So glad The gantom himself James gant got to perform the title with lily, it's a shame Jon couldn't because of his injury(He's better now) but yeah wow amazing performances across the board.
Due to the speakers theyre using, the "Ahhhhhh...!s" are obviously pre recorded. No biggie tho coz they do that in the actual show coz the actress can't always hit those notes multiple shows a week. It's just the sound system here made that very obvious.

I never cared for Raoul’s character but when I saw the play for the third time in West End this fall, I finally understood! Joe Griffiths-Brown completed this character for me 🥺 The cast was absolutely outstanding and I was I crying in the end. I couldn’t say which was leader was better 😭❤️
The "All I Ask of You" performance was SO CUTE😭 I need someone who's seen their other shows to tell me if the giggles and silly moments were scripted or not😭😭😭
West End Live always has sound problems every year. In some years theres been perfomances that really have not sounded great cos the actors couldnt hear themselves etc. Apparently in a Heathers perfornance one year, the lead actress was crying backstage because of how disappointed she was with how she sounded :(
it's much harder to balance out classical singing mic-wise since the females will be largely in head voice whilst the men are in chest. Just sounds like the set up was balanced with "belty" approaches beforehand and not changed for the phantom crew....which we know...the shows rotate in and out pretty quickly during this event. Still....

Andre, Fermin and Raoul are amazing in this. The rest of them are just alright, they get the job done but they are not standout performances. Also, huge shoutout to the guy on the right providing the sign language interpretation!
That's just the fact that it's outdoors and bad mics. I promise she's amazing if you see her live in the theatre :) I wouldn't write her off just from this. Lily is the best
These last casts for phantom are so lackluster. Zero chemistry between the actors and the singing leaves a bit to be desired. They weren't awful, but not at the level I would expect if I would be paying hundreds of pounds per ticket. But I see in the comment section everyone's in love with them so what do I know...

Judging by the pieces of paper some of the actors and actress are reading from it would suggest they do not know their lines . I really enjoyed the play overall but this makes it amateurish .Christine and the phantom sound good and they don’t seem to need pieces of paper
Idk if you've seen Phantom of The Opera before, but they are not reading their lines off a piece of paper. The second number is a song that takes place after the Phantom has given the managers a lot of letters. Those pieces of paper are actually props. They don't have the actor's lines written on them, they most likely say the same things as what the phantom writes to the characters in the show. You can see the cursive written on the letters and it would not make sense to write down their lines in cursive. But all of these actors are highly trained and very professional. Pretty much all of them have been in the show for a long time and would not need their lines written down. So that is not the case I promise you. :)
