Now go find the jools Holland show were they play like eating glass for the first time. I still like bloc party but in a nostalgic 'part of my youth' way instead of actually following much of what they do these days.
decent performance and for people saying from silent alarm to this. it isnt theres three other great underrated albums hidden their. this is their first blunder
A combination of pitch shifter pedals and an Electro-Harmonix POG, the latter controlled by a little remote control attached to his guitar for the song. Saves him having the spend the entire song on his knees operating these effects.
this is definitely a song you don't wanna hear again..the thing he is doing with his guitar..I can imagine it's something jonny greenwood used to use back when he was a child in his room dreaming of the big time
I get how people feel they are different but this song on the album is as good as anything they've done. Tbh, they've never sounded as good live as they do in the studio. At the end of the day they have given us a collection of excellent songs we won't get sick of. p.s. if you don't like them, we don't care.
I had come away from bloc party for a while but loving this song. Great performance on Jools last night!
I love Bloc Party. Pretty cool band
Excellent.

omg remember watchin this on telly at time 2016 seems like yesterday
Kele look like james harden
Haha i get what you're saying
The drumer 😍😍
changing the speed to 1.25 = old Bloc Party
you're welcome
+Lee Waller Gamechanger.
+Lee Waller These comments are becoming cancerous
best joke 2015
Thanks lol
actually an improvement
Anyone wanna tell me the name of that guitar synth that Russel Lissack is using? Like the plug-in thing throughout.
+George Selwyn Sharpe I think it controls his POG
Thanks for that info, but how he could control it manually ?
Gold Grinder Installed something that does the same effect, onto his guitar
so where is the bloc party at, i can only see kele
Never seen a band go from a 10 to 0 like these
Perfectly Described
May i ask why? just discovered them and i dont get why people dont like this song
HeavyFerrum - Check out their performance of Helicopter on Jules Holland back in 2004, then look at this and tell me you still don't understand
it's like they want to be shit.
😢😞😞
Man, i just came to know what the fuck is Russell using in his guitar to make to weird sounds

never been a big fan of his voice...and he doesn't disappoint here...it's as flat as a pancake like always
They've lost it. From Silent Alarm to this?, Wow.
+Diarmuid Ring You've lost it if you ask me
I agree...it's a bit of a shock
this is definitely a song you don't wanna hear again..the thing he is doing with his guitar..I can imagine it's something jonny greenwood used to use back when he was a child in his room dreaming of the big time
SA was more than a decade ago, where have you been mate?
They just changed as people and their music changed, I like most of their music.
kudos to Lisack for trying something new, but that guitar part is not doing anything for me.
Lou Lou on drums is cool. But shes no Matt.
agreed
She is perfect
He gained muscle like Craig David lol
I love this song normally but live, well this one anyway, was pretty terrible.
Drummer's good. I'm sure I've seen her playing another band
she's in a band called nova cub, not that known though.
painful
This is so scottish
i went watching them this year this song sounds bigger and better live jools holland always as shitty sound
Matt's drumming in much better than Lou Lou.
Not so bad, but not good and for my tastes.
he's definatively on roids and it's not doing him a favor looks wise

and sorry to say the song is terrible..well in my humble opinion anyways
this really sounds terrible
Why didn't they so helicopter or something that was classic bloc party. Don't get me wrong the new album is fine but it's their worst so far.
this makes them seem terrible!
You can see the people stoic, not feeling it.
Come on Kele, Russell, at least change the name of the band :/
zero enthusiasm here. what's the point?
