      Es ist großartige Musik, ich kriege immer wieder mal Gänsehaut, wenn ich's höre, je nach Stimmung. Die Band war damals große Klasse und dann noch die Atmosphäre dieser
      Zeit - toll! Irre war, daß fast nur solche Mucke auf den Plattenteller kam in dem Laden, wo ich immer war! Hendrix, Ted Nugent, Emerson, Lake und Palmer, Colosseum, Santana und noch so viele andere Musik die kaum oder garnicht im Radio zu hören war.
      Der Schuppen wurde für Jahre mein zweites Zuhause.

    People now can't even image how bad ass this was or what is t was or why it ever existed. The world is =0 for a lack of it now. Rocked up full blown R+B . Like wheres the flow man? Song is the flow and the flow is one with the song. Strange how far removed from curtentusical trends. It not anything like not just just your grand parents music.

    I'm 61 myself and have never been able to escape the music of the 60's and 70's. Nothing since has touch or affected me like it did back then, thus why I continue to listen to it.

      Same here, and a little older. There is STILL so much good music from the 50's through the 70's that I've never heard before. There is no reason for me to waste time with the synthetic garbage that's being put out there today and in recent years. Let them choke on Taylor Swift but I won't be me.

    Saw them in '70, they opened for Sly and the family At the Garden in NYC , he was late and they played 40 minutes of this and Heard it thru the Grapevine. great show!

      It's no longer the same mindset as we had in the 60s & early 70s, not that we don't have some fine players out there these days , you just have to search for them & like the old days get turned on to bands & players from friends as you just won't hear this music in full on any radio station even the ones you have to pay for. As a long time guitar player i would like to share a track i did back in my school days but didn't get to record it till 87 & on a 4 track Reel to Reel .     63 now. Bought the live double album when it came out. Yeah the knapsack cover. Still got it with plastic cover. Best music came out in the 60s, 70s and early 80s. Glad to have grown up in that era., when the music was real and your spirit was free loving. From pmburg, south Africa. The best years of our lives ❤️😊

      I'm 73 and i have that Album too. I saw them in concert opening for Sly and the Family Stone. They played for an hour. Sly was late and when they did show he was so stoned that we booed him off the stage. Rare Earth came back at and played another hour. Madison square garden, NYC

      "Cry the Beloved Country" was was required reading in high school here in the States back in the day (some parts at least) and I find the language fascinating to this day. Musta been kind of an underground rock scene there back then, or no?

    Back when we had music. Love it. Reminds me of sit ins . I from Houston Back in the early 70's there was a place we use to go to called OF Our On maybe a few bucks to get in u sat on the floor past around the leather wine pouch smoked a different and listened to great musicians. Those were the best days

    1977 arbeitete in BS in einer Disco. Etwa um zwei Uhr spielte der DJ immer die selben drei Stücke: Gamma Ray, Hurricane und zum Abschluss Get Ready in dieser langen Version.
    Ich konnte es einfach nicht mehr hören und war froh, wenn Pete
    Rivera wieder anfing zu Singen. Jetzt dauerte es nur noch etwas eineinhalb Minuten, bis endlich Ruhe war und wieder Disco-Music gespielt wurde.
    Ich brauche lange, bis ich diese Music wieder hören konnte und die Soli richtig würdigen konnte.Die LP habe ich noch und möchte sie heute nicht mehr missen......

      @@cosmo1eleven855 Are you kidding? This band has been playing up until 2022 when the last original member passed. They released a new album back in 2006. They are in the Michigan r & R legends hall of fame as they were from Michigan.

      @@cosmo1eleven855 they made great music tho. If you were a fan back then you followed their career. I did the same with other bands. I followed Savoy Brown until Kim Simmonds passed. Until then tho, they were the longest running blues band in the world. I did the same with Canned Heat but that was a very tragic story. It's all good tho.

    Brother and were In Reno in the early 80's for the air races. Walked into a casino and look whos playing at the night club! These guys were much better then what they get credit for! Excellent show!

    In those times a song could last for years. I remember dancing to that in 1973/74, along with "Going home" from Ten Years After or Papa Was a Rolling Stone by the Temptations. Going Home was sports training and this one set me in trance - somehow ;-)
