De toda la infancia y pubertad , no hubo nada mejor que estos tiempos , de los sesenta y tantos hasta los setenta y pico , nada ha podido superarlo !!!!!
Angelic, smooth, full voice, Karen Carpenter. What a wonderful creation, and such a painful loss. Poor Karen truly crumbled at the loss of playing her beloved drums and being pushed to the front. I was just a kid, and I actually cried when I heard of her death. We started learning about Anorexia because of her death, in health class. My mother and her younger sister used to sing The Carpenter's songs, and their voices were so close to Karen's, and I would be shocked at how they could copy her. Of course, they didn't have her vocal stamina and beauty, but to a child, it was a wonder. Elton John, a vocal and pianist gift. Elton can sing a cereal box, and it would be Top 40 gold 😀 Elton and Bernie have given us so many hits! Ahhhh, the 70's 😊❤
I didn't make it to many concerts 😞 n the day so it's great to actually see my favorites perform d like ve on stage to n these videos I haven't seen a lot of them. The sounds really take me back tho . Beautiful times. The background music to my life.. wish I could go back there. But no one gets a pass on the getting old deal. No one. Thanks for the he memories.the text gets a lot wrong the lyrics are burned in my mind tho.technology, ya know gotta love it.thankfully a lot right too.
Janis Joplin was "fined $200 for using vulgar language?!" They could bring in billions with the profane language used in today's Rap "music!" The era of songs that touched our hearts and souls is long gone, which is a pity for younger generations.
Yeah and a gay man sat on top of the charts all the way through the most trying times for the gay people. It was a time when young people were really trying to change civilization for the better. I doubt it will ever be the last time. Humans always get tired of the shit-show and change.
Theyll say the same thing about theres, to me it's all depressing, can't Dance to it. And need therapy if you relate to the words or on un aliving watch
Carlos Santana, maestro!! tu música se mezcla con la esencia del infinito y perdura por siempre!! enorme saludo para los que sienten y viven la buena música! Con afecto y deseos de PAZ para todo el mundo!!
Love bridge over troubled water a classic karaoke song I did quite often. It When it came on the duke box in the pub they would cut out the sound on the high notes. Never caught me out ha ha
LOVE this Playlist! Call me weird, but every time I hear the song 'Layla' (Eric Clapton) It always reminds me of that long montage in the movie 'Goodfellas' where they were finding the bodies all over the city!
I’m rewinding my whole life and do you know what?!!! I was so innocent or naive whatever now I’m standing with my feet on the ground and for the almighty will I still have time to ask for pardon for all the wrongdoing in the 75% of my careless life.
Es una broma lo de " 1970 In One Hour?"... Por favor, la música que se escuchaba en esos años era muchísimo más variada... Ustedes están "comprimiendo" los años 70... Saludos...
In that serie, (the songs of) in one hour, a lot of these songs are INCORRECTLY DATED, either published a year earlier or a year later. The one who put them together had done a lot wrong...Otherwise I enjoyed hearing the whole thing... Just one exemple : THREE DOG NIGHT "Joy to the world" is from April 1971, not 1970...
Great hour!!! Listening to my childhood radio favorites ❤❤❤ thanks!!!

Nowadays these young guys are encouraged to sing obscenities. Sad.

Carlos could make a grown man cry with his music!
Underrated artist, yet humble. He makes his guitar more than weep, it's agonizing. He certainty makes me wanna be a guitar.
Santana's Black Magic Woman is written by the great Peter Green , co/founder of British Blues Band Fleetwood Mac !
I really like this format, great show, well put together, and brother Malcom comes to me. nice

Mungo Jerry- First beatbox sound ever!?! 😆
I loved Casey Kasem's Billboards Hot 40 since the 1980s.
I did to but in the 1970s, I was working on a trawler (fishing boat) near the US coast...
Give me 62 years old now Casey Kasem back then was a hit
Well. While you were listening to Black Sabbath and Hendrix, I had The Partridge Family spinning. In fact, I still do.

The hairdos just crack me up even tho I was 12 in 70 I guess you forget how goofy they looked😆
Eric Clapton's Layla video is from the 1986 presentation at Live Aid with Phil Collins.
Just loved the paint. On the sideburns. Still a great tune
Those were called mutton chops they were real facial hair not paint on the face
Those were stick-ons. Not really mutton choos
SOMETIME !!! LIFE WITH SUPER MUSIC !!! AND NOW/2024/ ???😍
Not only right now, in the last twenty years the music became awful...
Music has been severely damaged by autotune and greedy producers.
Terrific music and video’s Bravo 👏 🎶😎!!!
I saw the Carpenters in EL Paso, and Las Cruces back in the seventies, and saw Chicago in Torreon, in 2008
Would love to have seen the carpenters, beautiful music
It's really the only music that means anything to me.

Sure he did, on Clapton and Friends Tour.
@@whitebutton3890 that wasn't really a question, sorry. It was more of a statement. But thanks.
Thats Jim Gordon not phil!
@@kings-bay-2902 no it's Phil Collins. He played the drums for Clapton through his 1986 album.
Jimi Hendrix was the Babe Ruth of guitar. Quit your whining. SRV. Alvin Lee etc..
*lado
Hendricks was a decent guitarist, and even "before his time" but he certainly isn't considered " the best guitarist of all time"...
Hendrix...
I agree w you. Clapton, Page, George Harrison and the guy from the Who ,whose name escapes me...nice play on words...lmao
